Birthday Tour To The B.R.C

Devon, Miles, Mia, Janette, David and Miss Béli headed towards a floating car parked in front of the Administration building. The car looked normal on the outside but the inside was big enough to fit ten passengers including the driver. They hopped in and Miss Béli drove them towards Comia Lane, where the B.R.C was. Devon and Miles couldn't help but stare at the ladies in the car. Mia wore a tight fitting blue flower dress with matching sandals, Janette in a black top and tight jeans with black boots. Miss Béli wore a black dress decorated with red ornaments and sandals. The dress was really tight especially around her boobs as they were failing to keep the mountains under control. Devon wore a grey shirt with blue trousers and white sneakers, Miles in a white loose fitting turtleneck sweater with black trousers and boots and David in a black suit with matching shoes. They looked really nice.

After sometime, Miss Béli stepped on the gas pedal, suddenly speeding up at an insane speed.

"That was.....the best ride ever!!!!" Miles exclaimed in glee attracting hostile stares from David and Mia. "I didn't know she could drive like that. So wonderful and exotic." Devon added. "You call that a ride?! That was practically suicide! We were all gonna die!" David exclaimed with a pale face. He was on the verge of puking. Even Mia looked better than him. "We're here!" Miss Béli announced as she steered the car towards a huge, tall building. The building was 8 stories high. A huge signboard which read Beast Research Center in white letters floated atop it. The signboard was black in color. The building was white with blue tinted windows. There were workers in black and red uniforms walking in and out off the building. Some were carrying big boxes of God-knows-what. Miss Béli parked the car at the car park where there were similar typed cars like Miss Béli's. She told them that was the required cars to be used in the BRC and that they were custom made for only workers in the BRC.

They got off the car and Miss Béli led them towards the glass doors of the building. Any worker who met them bowed to them or say, bowed to one person in particular, Miss Béli. The doors opened on their own and they got in. The place looked like a 5-star hotel instead of a research center for beasts. The students were perplexed at what they were seeing; so they were in the legendary BRC, the place all kinds of beasts were researched on. The origin of the Beast Awakening method whirlpool surprisingly, only theirs worked unlike the others who killed people through their tests.

A female worker in a white suit hurriedly and gracefully approached them. She had a cold face but that couldn't keep the boys from drooling over her massive D-cups which nearly rivaled Miss Béli's own. "Boss. The presents are ready. Everything has been tested." She said to Miss Béli. "Thanks Mirabell. What of the new test subject?" "It has been kept in the Goluck." "Thanks a lot. Let's go." She beckoned them to follow her. They entered an elevator which sent them to the last floor. The workers in there all wore purple uniforms and black face masks. They entered a room with glass doors. When they entered, they saw a huge banner which read, "Happy Birthday Devon" in gold characters. The room had a living room-like appearance. Behind the banner was a table filled with food of every kind; fried chicken, bisque, chowder, hot and creamy milk, spinach pie, donuts and so on. They approached the table, said blessings, sang the birthday song and dug in.

Devon and Miles walked like jelly men as they followed Miss Béli to the next room close the living room. They were so full to the extent that Mia and Janette had to support them with blushing faces to the room. They hadn't eaten like this before. Devon because he was a commoner so it was a first for him and Miles, he was trash and trash didn't eat much, right?

They entered the other room which looked like a fusion of a lab and a hall. There were two podiums in the middle of the lab. One had a transparent, crystalline skull with a blue, glowing crystal in it and one also had a transparent, glowing crystal; an Awakening Stone. "Those are your presents. Miles you go first. The skull is what you will use as you've already used Awakening Stones." Miss Béli said. "Skull? A Beast Awakening? I won't die, right? Or…or…" Miles said in panic. Even the others had solemn, frightened faces. "No you won't die. Everything will be okay and with the energy you've absorbed from the Awakening Stones, you should be able to go through a Beast Awakening. That is a Death Skull, a Smoke affinity beast at the Silver Rank. That's the only part of its body which is physical. The rest are just smoke. You can do it and there are also measures put in place in case it backfires, so there's no need to worry." Miss Béli assured Miles. "O…okay."

Miles moved towards the podium with the skull and stood there, looking at it. He sucked in a deep breath and placed his hands on the skull. Smoke instantly flowed out off the hollows in the skull and entered Miles through his ears, eyes, nose and mouth. His white hair glowed a purer white like the smoke to the extent that, his hair looked like it had into smoke. His red eyes blazed like candle light. His feet left the ground as he slowly floated up into the mist. The rest had to back away leaving only Miss Béli who didn't let her eyes off Miles. The skull also floated with Miles as smoke leaked out off it into Miles. After five minutes, Miles slowly came back down and fell on the ground. The skull hovered over him then burst into tiny stars and entered Miles. A blue crystal fell on him. It was no longer glowing as the power in it had been drained by Miles.

Miss Béli took a bottle from her storage ring and poured its contents into Miles' opened mouth. It was a Stabilizing Juice. Miles woke up with a start and started asking questions. "Where am I? What happened? Did I die?" "It's okay. You are fine. The Awakening was successful." Miss Béli said to him and turned to face Devon. "Successful?"
