Well, I guess the romance harem is already decided. Yue, Shea, Tio, Kaori and Shizuku. I don't really know what to do with Remia. I'll think about it.

Anyways, thanks a lot for your support. I'll post another chapter today only within 18 hours I suppose. I don't know.

This chapter. There's nothing much in here I guess. Only summary of Shea joining them. I didn't go too much into the emotional aspects as it's almost canon same. Next chapter Myu comes in.

Alex and Yue were currently on their way to the nearest human town to the Reisen Gorge. Yue had already confirmed its location through the air.

Alex had given her the reward for getting the second ancient magic, that is advanced knowledge of science. Although it would have helped him, it was much more helpful for Yue who uses all kinds of magic. After all, the knowledge covered many fields of science up to a considerable level. It wasn't too advanced but it wasn't too shabby either.

He couldn't figure out anything about the next quest.

Speeding through the thin forest and taking in the scenery along the way, they both felt inexplicably refreshed. The Reisen labyrinth was a very stressful experience for them. He could only hope the others would be better.

"... ing for you."

Alex seemed to hear a very faint voice coming from the front. He wasted no time and turned Steiff around. But Yue had a different idea. She manipulated the mana to make the bike go straight ahead.

He stared at her with wide eyes and she reciprocated with her playful gaze. Alex was very aggrieved that he didn't have his mana right now.

"Finally! I wash waiting for you! Shabe me pleashe."

And the bunny girl came into view. Blue hair and clothes tore apart at places, she ran towards them with tears and snot running down her face. Behind her three soldiers, of the empire perhaps, chasing after her. The soldiers had an impatient expression on their faces. The bunny girl had most probably given them too much trouble.

A few hundred meters behind were a dozen other rabbitmen with metal cuffs on their hands and chains on their throats surrounded by many other soldiers.

The bunny girl hopped around with her full strength running away toward them.

Alex pretended to see the scenery around him and Stieff turned faster. 'Hmm. As I thought, greenery is the best.'

But the next second, he found them coming to a halt.

He mechanically turned his head to face Yue once again. The provoking and playful look annoyed him to no end. He decided to surely punish her later...

The bunny girl who was just a few steps away from them finally showed a smile thinking they had stopped to help her. After all, who could resist the pleadings of such a beautiful girl like her.

Alex perhaps sensing her thoughts looked at her in disgust... And hit her head with the flat end of his sword. She fainted on the spot with the silly grin still on her face. She didn't even have the time to mutter an 'ouch'.

"Pathetic rabbit. Go die for all I care... Let's go Yue."

But Yue didn't move. She was looking at the fainted bunny girl and all the imprisoned demi-humans with a strange gaze. She turned to look at Alex.

Her crimson eyes peered deep into his own eyes. He already understood what she wanted.

He was a little hesitant but...

"Look at that blonde doll. Do ya wanna just detain them or something. We can then... Hehe!"

"..." He heard the hushed voices of the soldiers dragging the bunny girl. His eyes turned colder than ice.

And the three soldiers were bisected into two. The other soldiers far behind couldn't see what happened to them as the scene was hidden by a tree.

Alex got off the bike and charged like a gust of wind. Within not even half a minute, all the soldiers surrounding the enslaved rabbitmen tribe turned into pieces and Alex was back to Yue.

"Let's go. We've done enough."

Yue looked around for a moment and nodded.

However, the blue-haired bunny girl had already woken up. They just didn't pay attention to her. Seeing that Alex and Yue were about to leave, she got up without bothering to clean her face and grabbed onto Alex's boot. Her eyes turned teary again.

"Pleashe help us. Don't abandon us. Pleaaaase help my family."

As such, she was punched, kicked, shocked and frozen by Yue, hit with a rubber bullet and abused some more. But she showed amazing resilience and did not let go of Alex.

In the end, Alex and Yue decided to help her even though it would be a pain. It was a strangely familiar scene. Alex honestly wanted to kill her but he held himself back because of the reason she was doing it.

If he found someone that could help him when he fell down the abyss, he would've surely been just like her. Doing anything possible to find a way out, there would've been no other way than to beg that someone else...

Shea Haulia was someone who could manipulate mana directly like them. Because of that, the entire Haulia tribe ran away from their country to save themselves from execution. However, they ended up being enslaved by the soldier of the Hoelscher Empire. Yue even got a little sympathetic as they were both branded 'monsters' that could directly manipulate mana.

Anyways, they travelled back through the Reisen Gorge all the way to the other side that led to the Haltina Sea of Trees. On the way, Alex and Yue were endlessly ticked off by the 'compassion' the rabbitmen had even for the monsters that wanted to eat them. They would even cry if a fly died.

Alex just let a monster come into inches of them before killing it. As the terror sunk into them and the monster blood splashed onto them, they wet themselves. Even the 'beautiful' bunny girl, oh Shea, was the same. It got even more troubling.

They finally reached the Haltina woods after a few days. The place known as the home of all the demi-humans in the world, it was covered in massive jungles all around with a towering tree in the middle. The place was covered in an impenetrable fog all around the year. Without the rabbitmen to lead them, Alex and Yue would've been lost somewhere. Yue was completely fascinated with the beauty of this place. The fog made the scene look even more mysterious and fascinating.

He helped them reach near the country in the woods 'Verbergen'. They were confronted by some tigermen that Alex casually dispatched.

An hour later, they were greeted by the representative of elders of Verbergen, Ulfric Heipyst. He was originally hostile but when Alex showed him the ring of Oscar Orcus, his attitude flipped and he invited them to their country.

After a few days, they were getting ready to leave. Alex had already trained the rabbitmen into a little too bloodthirsty freaks who screamed, "Slaughter! Slaughter!". It was their deal, helping them stay alive by themselves in the woods. Maybe he did a little too much.

Anyways, when they were about to leave, his sleeve was grabbed by Shea who was blushing and fidgeting around.

"Please let me come with you. I-I want to stay with you becaushe I like you." She bit her tongue

Alex was dumbfounded. It wasn't that he didn't expect it, but because he expected it that he avoided talking to her from the start and was pretty mean to her. He didn't even talk with her after departing for Haltina woods. The only interactions were between Shea and...

"Yue!"

Her back straightened as she averted her gaze. Guilty. She must've bragged too much about their love and past to Shea. Not that he hated it.

Now that he thought about it, in the original story too, she fell in love after hearing stories from Yue.

Nonetheless, he rejected her.

"No."

"But why?" Shea almost started sobbing.

"You are useless, pathetic, weak, and useless."

"Waaa! Alex-san, no, I will definitely come with you. And why mention useless twice? Yue-san help me!"

Yue made a guilty face and averted his gaze even more and spoke in a hushed voice.

"Let's take her."

"Wha-"

Alex and Yue gained a new companion in their journey.

And a few more days after, they finally reached the first human town.
