Prologue

What the old worlds lacked was love, acceptance, and care. "Everyone must be equal," the God Of Love said. Everyone nodded,  except one.

"What's wrong, Evan?"

"Huh, you said something...?" Even turned his sleepy head.

"My apologies , lord, I haven't slept well this night."

"And to answer your question, yes, lord, it would be a wonderful idea!" He said smiling.

And so the meeting of the seven gods was finalized. They decided to create a new world, better than all the previous ones...

Finally when the new people were successfully created, not only humans and devils walked on earth, but many more creatures. Some of them being mermaids, furies, elves etc. Gender was not a thing; everyone identified as they liked to.

In later decades, supernatural powers started to appear. Humans were the first to start developing them, for the rest of the species it came later.

They give everyone powers due to some gods wanting to teach their creations new knowledge. So more people could enter the "afterlife."

As years passed, humans built schools, and so people started getting ranked.

Ranks ranging from D to SR.

They did this so lower rank people couldn't be able to advance to this so-called "afterlife." Of course, this is not what the Gods wanted. Since they needed everyone.

But they couldn't do anything about it because that meant destroying another world.

After long thoughts, the God Of Sanity declared, "we will ascend a child to earth, stronger than anyone, so they could destroy the current system made by our people!"

"God Of Wealth, you will be responsible for this child.  Make sure nothing happens to them". God Of Wealth nodded.

He was the weakest out of all the seven, goes by the name Damon. He was responsible for not only providing money but also weapons and gear to all the people living on earth.

In truth, Damon was scared, scared of the role of training and protecting a child, a child that would soon rule the world. He was scared not because he was shy or insecure, but because of a little secret he was holding...

Pass forward to 24 years...

The child was born. Me. A beautiful boy, half-demon, half-human. I was named by my grandfather, Joseph. However, most of my family members called me Joey.

I have two older sisters; they took care of me and earned money for our sick mother.

Dad had died when I was only 4 years old, I never got to know him. So that just leaves the four of us. Well there is our grandmother, but she is really old and can't help me or my mother.

We live in a small town; it used to be a city, though many people left because of the purge ten years ago. My mother was one of the victims who got affected by the purge

and now is dealing with the side effects.

Growing up, I had only 3 friends. My time at the kindergarten was packed full of adventures. I could go all day just rambling about that one stupid "escape plan" I

made with my guy friend.

When school started, we split apart, and I was all alone again. I did manage to get popular among the girls in third grade by doing origami. Yea, I was one creative kid back then. But now, I am a disaster.

No one talks to, I mean it's more like I send them away with a glare. I hate when people approach me. I hate when they look at me. And I can't seem to change either.

When I turn 16, I will be transferred to a special school made to improve my powers. Ideally, if I pass the entrance exam, I will get my personal teacher. They will come from the "afterlife" to earth just for me.

I have no idea what's there to come, but I'm ready. In 6 months, my new life will begin...
