(CHAPTER 9: CRYING)

"Three cans of sardines, a dozen of eggs…" An old crooked woman walks down the street with a list in his hand. "When will this nonsense end? Sigh…" The old woman rub her head, she was tired of all this. Even walking down the street is a terror, any second out from the house is like entering the mouth of a beast.

"St-op! You k-now who my d-ad is!!"

Suddenly she heard a scream, before a snap, like a twisted celery, or maybe a broken bone. The scream disappeared, as if nothing had ever happened before. "Hello?" Holding the fear, the old woman let out a weak call. "Anyone?" Upon hearing no one is replied, she scream once more. This one is replied with a squelch, like the voice when you rip someone into half.

With all the courage she manage to gather, she walk into the dark damp alley. "Who's there?" Her voice is shaking, small like a mosquito's hum. As she turn around the corner, she met face to face with the devil.

"Ah!!"

I rip his limbs away and toss it away. I drag the limbless body above the ground and place it above my head, letting the blood rain onto my face, into my mouth. I smacked my lips in satisfaction, before tossing it away at the corner, alongside the lifeless, torn up corpse of his two friends. He get what he fucking deserved.

"Ah!!"

I heard a scream and turn around. I was met with a frail old woman, her body trembling, shaking in fear as she sat to the ground. Her mouth wide open, her expression froze in fear, her hands pointed at me. "The-re's a mon-ster!" She screamed after a lot of attempts, barely squeezing it out from her mouth. "A monster!!" She shouted before stumbling her ways out of the alley. "Help!!"

"Oh fuck." I immediately grab Aiko who was still out cold and the cat girl who seem to froze at the corner. "Shit shit shit." I leap onto the roof of the building beside and ran, I tried to use my cloak before to cover my face but it was too small. Did I grew? Or did this thing just shrink. I toss the cloak away.

"Hold on tight!" I screamed and leap towards the bell tower located at the center of the capital. My claw dug deep into the concrete wall of the building and make it on top of the tower, scouting for an escape plan at the higher ground. "There!" Before I could came up with a better route, the cat girl had already came out with one. "There at the west, there is a jungle we can seek shelter by!"

"Alright, I trust you!" I leap away from the tower and onto another building, making my way towards the west will all my legs could carry, running on all fours. Every step from me leave a small crater on the roof above. I am starting to feel tired, but I can't stop, every second I rest means every second the army is going to get to me. With a huge leap, I leapt on top the wall of the capital, before dashing into the forest.

"Huff." I let out a deep breath and let go of the two girls as I laid to the ground. I felt as if I was about to explode, "Time out, time out." I let out a gasp, I felt steam was surging out from my body, as my muscle quickly shrunk, finally after a minute, I returned back to the normal me. No muscular body, flame markings all over my biceps, bear like claws that tear through flesh like nothing, jaws that could snap bones like twig. Back to that normal, useless piece of shit.

"Aiko." After catching my breath, I turn around to check if Aiko was okay. I turn her over, and saw he back was completely impaled, the ice shards had completely melted, leaving hole and hole on her back. Her shirt was torn, but luckily some still remains, covering the important parts away. Why the fuck I am into this kind of useless info again? I shook my head away, trying to kick away the horniness. I put his finger close to her nose, she is still breathing, but weaker as moment passes.

"Come on!" I scramble towards my backpack, which was a few meters away from me, and open it up, pouring the content within onto the ground. "Where…" I mumbled under my breath, searching the scattered items on the ground. "Here!" I take a small bottle with red liquids within it, we bought it last time on store, should be enough to heal her.

"What are you doing?" The moment I turn myself back on her, I saw the cat girl standing in front of Aiko, her hands clasp together, her body was glowing dimly. Upon hearing me shouting, her body tremble a little and immediately backs away. The light fades, and all of Aiko's wound was healed, leaving not even a small scar. "Rey…" Aiko open her eyes slightly as her body moves a bit before sitting up, never in my goddamn I had let out such a deep breath. Is this the feeling of fear, fear of losing someone? Seeing that goddamn smile on her face again, I couldn't hold myself. I dash towards her, the ice cold face and wall of pride I've set up instantly crashed.

"Aiko! You stupid bitch!!" I dashes towards her and into her arms, sinking into her body, hugging her as tightly as I could. For the first time in my fucking existence I cried, no, I bawled like a kid. She patted my head lightly, sinking her face in my hair. Tears dripped onto it, damping my hair as both of us cried together.

I don't care if I am half naked myself, I don't care there is some random cat girl beside, I don't care if she is almost naked herself, I don't care if I am a creator or whatsoever, I don't care if I wanted to return to my throne as the fucking all powerful being. All I wanted to do, is to stay with her, till the world meet its doom, till reality crumbles, till time reaches its end…

I just don't fucking care.
