People were starting to gather to city center, where big screens were showing live footage of the big warp gate.

The warp gate was built to far away desert, so it wouldn't create any risks to civilians.

It was unknown if it was possible that something would come through the gate.

They pointed all their best weapons towards the gate. Even though alfa's race had left their conflicts with each other to past, they still developed more advanced weapon technologies for external threats.

"We start opening the warp gate!"

'They really came, huh. No, what I am thinking!'

Richard had complicated feeling as he watched the royal family, who were watching from quite far away on the desert.

-hmm hmm

strange humming was coming from the gate, where was forming deep blue vortex.

5 minutes went by, and vortex stabilized itself and was calm.

"Ok, its stable. We are soon going through it, be prepared!"

10-person special force squad were going to go through it. The special forces had special suits that would allow them to survive almost any kind of environment.

As last member of the special forces went through, Richard was worried about their safety, because this unknown territory even for them.

Dragons were dormant at the time when the warp portal appeared on surface of the planet.

Animals and monsters were really interested about this portal, as it could mean territory without dragons or their kin.

The planets evolution was heavily influenced by dragons and world serpent. They adapted and tried evolving traits that would help them survive from dragon's enormous pressure and power.

These lead to all animals of the planet develop bigger, stronger bodies and greater adaptability.

They were wary of this strange portal that just appeared, so they just watched it from distance.

Leader of special force squad was Rayan.

He was already over 35 so he had already experienced a lot in his life, but it was first time that it was something like this.

[Arrived to new location]

[Gravity is estimated to be two times more than before. Recalibrating...]

<Warning! Atmosphere is extraordinarily rich on unknown energy. Overdose danger! Activating counter measures....>

"What the fu- Take positions, there is something coming from that forest!"

[Detecting over 300 biosignatures. Weapon systems at standby.]

"Open fire!"

All the members started shooting at monsters.

They killed many of them, but there was simply too many of them. The squad started to retreat towards the portal, until something changed after 15 minutes of fighting.

The monsters started to make strange noises and then started to run away in fear.

<Warning!! Two enormous bio signatures are coming closer!>

"Retreat immediately!!"

"Fuck, run!"

They ran at full speed towards the portal, but then something came front of them blocking their escape.

It was snake that had green on top and blue at bottom and it was probably over 70 meters long. "W-what the hell Is that enormous snake?!"

""How rude of you. I came here to check you out and keep the pests from spreading to other places.""

At that moment something landed from the sky. It was wyvern and it wasn't at the mood to see Sea serpent outside of the sea.

""Why are you here...? Your kind should stay where they belong, at the sea floor.""

The special force squad was confused and so out of the loop.

"What are they and why do we understand them?"

neither of them even listened confused alfanians.

""Yes, we live in the sea, but that doesn't mean that we can't move on land. Besides, I was here first, so you can go back and continue living in the caves with your lizard friends.""

""Hmph, you seem to have no manners, but I let it slide as you were here first.""

""Yes, thank you for your consideration...""

Wyvern who had just landed started to rise back to air.

As wyvern flew into horizon and was impossible to see anymore, the squad was dumbfounded and just stared the serpent.

<What did I sign for? I knew there was something unknown at the other side, but I didn't even consider something this big...>

""So, back to business. Who are you and where did you all come from?""

"I am Rayan. We are alfa's special force squad f-from alpha centaur 12b planet alfa. Where are we and who are you?"

""hmm interesting. I am Erin from sea serpents who are the world serpent's kin. Rayan Hawkins why are you shaking? Your species seems to be weaker than expected...""

"H-how do you know my full name? You don't seem to have too good relationship with that guy?"

""oh, how rude of me. I accidently peaked at your information. By the way those guys are my species enemies. It has always been that way.""

"It seemed that you didn't want to fight with him though. Is he stronger than you or something?"

""You seem to be overly curious. You know that sometimes being too curious is bad thing... Well, I am more relaxed individual than most of my species, but I would have fought with him if I wouldn't have been so caring about you.""

"I-I am sorry! Also thank you for your kindness!"

""Hmph, its fine if you understand. I let you go back to your place, but if your kind comes back here again... We must take certain actions, so I am sure you understand what I'm saying.""

<Warning! Live support functions of suits have started to fail.>

[Suspected reason is drastically risen pressure at atmosphere.]

[Activating back up live support systems...]

[Activating has failed!]

"Y-yeah we get it!... We won't come back here ever again."

""Fine, then get going already.""

Rayan was only one strong enough to speak to Erin, so rest of the team had stood behind Rayan and just stared at Erin. Few of the team's weakest members were knocked out when she warned them.

Rayn had to drag them behind him through the portal.

He made his mind that he wouldn't ever come back to that place.

Erin was tired after talking with the invaders, but she had to go make a report for clan elder.

""You came back already? Who were they because I could feel energy of unknown world.""

Clan elder title was for the oldest and wisest members of the clan. Sea serpents weren't eternal existences like original dragons or World serpent, they had usually limited life span of about 2500 years.

""Yes, I came back after I drove them back to their world and said that they shouldn't ever come back.""

""Good job. Hmm did they seem like a risk for us?""

""No, I don't think that they could even challenge us here. It could be drastically different result if we were on their world. By the way I blocked area around the portal from pests.""

""We don't know their level of technology so we shouldn't go through the portal, but I should dispatch someone to watch over the portal.""

Erin was surprised ""You think they would come back even after my intimidation? They seemed like they wouldn't dare to go against my words.""

""They don't probably go against you, but someone else of their species is going to try again, because I suspect that they are dominant species of their planet. Dominant species always want to expand their area of influence...""

""Makes sense, but who are you going to dispatch?""

""You have already seen them, so I think that you could deal with them with best ways.""

""What? You can't be serious. I don't want to be charge of some random portal. I have to still search for a mate and other things to do!""

""You are still young, so you have a lot of time to search for a mate. Besides, you don't have to guard the portal more than 10 years. After those ten years I plan appoint there someone else who needs to learn patience as a punishment.""

""...Fine I do it""
