Cap¹⁰ Unexpected reunion.

In a desolate wasteland engulfed in infernal flames and scorching lava erupting from the bowels of the earth, the very air turns into a stifling ember that fills the lungs and exhales a nauseating odor. In the ominous silence that looms, fear pulsates in the atmosphere like a disquieting omen seeking to tear the soul apart. Glegory, lying on the burning ground, lifts his gaze and fixes his eyes on Jarcias, while saying incredulously, -"How the hell are you still alive, Jarcias? I saw with my own eyes your death!"- Glegory is mistaken, and Jarcias responds with determination, -"You're mistaken, Glegory. It was my twin brother who died that day. We were the same age and had an almost identical appearance."-

-"But why did your parents commit such an atrocity?"- Glegory asks, confused. Jarcias responds with sadness in his voice, –"They were never my parents. Before I was born, my father was summoned to go to war and died in combat. My mother died giving birth to my brother and me. We were then adopted by those two individuals. At first, we thought they were kind and generous, but as we grew up, they revealed their true nature. I still can't believe it, but they were diabolical murderers. They performed rituals sacrificing the children they adopted, and my brother died in one of those rituals. Upon learning what had happened, I escaped to the city and hid among the trash. I've endured hunger and suffering during these past four years, which is why I'm thinner now."–

A tear escapes Jarcias' face as he speaks. -"I couldn't do anything to save my brother, I could only flee. That's why I've trained hard during these past years to gain more power and protect the people I love,"- says Jarcias with determination. Feeling remorseful, Glegory responds, –"I'm sorry, I didn't know everything you had to go through. But how did you survive the great catastrophe I caused?"-

-"So, you were responsible for all this?"- Jarcias says with a bitter laugh. -"You're terrifying, Glegory. But don't think I've been training alone during these years. I met a very powerful person and trained with him. When everything was destroyed, he protected me and asked me to find more survivors to report what happened in this world to his superiors,"- Jarcias recounts.

-"I understand. I deeply regret what I've done,"- says Glegory. Jarcias responds, -"Don't worry, Glegory. I don't know what you've been through, but somehow, you caused all this. Anyway, this humanity was on the brink of destruction. This world was filled with evil and corruption, where only the law of the strongest prevailed. In a certain sense, I suppose it was better to destroy it all. Although my master told me that this world wasn't always like this. There was a time when people were kind, joyful, and supported each other. But one day, the god of this galaxy, something rare in a planet like this, appeared and brought along an extremely powerful being. That being didn't reveal its name and promised rewards and prosperity for this planet. Everyone worshipped it, but shortly after, everyone started behaving strangely, as if they were different people. From that day on, everything changed. The population became wicked and corrupt. I suppose it was the one who brought that evil to this world. But what if we stop talking and destroy that mountain on legs?"- concludes Jarcias.

Glegory and Jarcias begin to fight against the gigantic monster and the chains emerging from the ground. Glegory jumps forcefully, creating a crater in the ground as he strikes the monster's head. However, it instantly regenerates. Meanwhile, Jarcias freezes the chains rising from the ground and casts a spell that freezes the monster's feet, causing it to fall and be destroyed. But it regenerates again as they continue to fight against it.

-"Glegory, distract it for a moment while I search for the source of this monster's power!"- Jarcias shouts. Glegory keeps fighting the monster while Jarcias heads to a safe place. There, he casts a spell to locate the source of power and discovers something surprising: the power comes from the planet itself. He concludes that the planet has its own life and has awakened due to the destruction caused by Glegory.

Jarcias runs towards Glegory and warns him, -"To destroy the monster, we must destroy the planet's core...!"- Suddenly, a skeleton formed by iron chains and holding a spear emerges from the ground. The skeleton wields the spear and throws it, piercing Jarcias' stomach, causing him to fall to the ground bleeding.

Glegory looks at Jarcias and desperately rushes to help him, but the humanoid mountain raises its axe and delivers a blow that sends Glegory flying through the air. As Glegory falls, despair drives him to cast a spell for the first time, not an offensive one, but a healing and protective spell for Jarcias. -"I won't lose another imposing person in my life!"- Glegory shouts as he falls. At that moment, he has a vision similar to the one he had in the forest, where it is revealed that the planet was a prisoner of the evil of the humanity that inhabited it, and now it has awakened because the chains of evil that bound it had been destroyed by Glegory. While Glegory falls, the humanoid mountain speaks with a slow and grave voice, -"The humanity that dwelled within me did not deserve to enjoy the fruits of these lands. I curse the superior being who cursed and ruined this population. My life and my lands are now worthless without someone to protect them. My desire now is to die and find a better place."-

Upon hearing the planet's wish, Glegory decides to attempt the strike that Beltrán taught him as he falls. -"Desert Strike!"- Glegory shouts. From the sky, he launches the desert strike against the monster, piercing it and destroying the planet's core. The entire planet turns into rubble and is engulfed in flames.

Minutes before this event, when Jarcias falls to the ground bleeding, he fears he will die in that moment and cries out of fear. He says, –"I don't want to die yet! I need more time with the only person I consider part of my family. No! If only I could be stronger, if only I could be like you, Glegory! Perhaps life takes care of annihilating the weakest, or maybe I just need a little more help."– At that moment, a person descends from the sky, whose appearance is similar to Yacel, Beltrán's friend. It turns out to be Yacel, Jarcias' master during that time. Yacel lifts Jarcias up and disappears.

Later, the planet is destroyed by Glegory, but he runs out of strength and faints, drifting through space without assistance. 100 years pass on all the planets, but for Glegory, it was only 5 years of sleep. Those 5 years passed quickly as Glegory wandered through space. Just when it seemed he would wander in space forever, he suddenly falls onto the moon of a massive planet.

The moon where Glegory falls is a peculiar moon, lifeless, but its grandeur rivals that of an entire planet. Overwhelming desolation and an unsettling silence take hold of the place! Impressive mountains rise imposingly before his astonished gaze!

Glegory wakes up from the impact against the lunar surface. He is confused and has difficulty remembering what happened. His head hurts, so he decides to stop thinking too much and starts exploring the place in search of food. However, he finds nothing. He observes the massive planet and decides to search for food there. Just as he is about to jump, a man appears out of nowhere. He wears a robe of black flames, and his eyes glow intensely red.

-"I have been ordered to annihilate you, but I cannot kill someone without knowing their name. So tell me, what is your name?"- the man says.

-"I am Glegory, and who are you?"- Glegory replies.

-"I am Darius, and I have come to eliminate all the pests that threaten existence,"- Darius responds dramatically.

-"Try it, if you can, little flames,"- Glegory retorts, imitating Darius' tone.

Both lock eyes with each other as they smile in a tense manner.
