Chapter 4-Pool party

"Lub-dub..lub-dub..lub-dub".The sound of a heart beat is getting louder.Gia's heart is racing and her body is shaking.Oh my god,who would come here to eat lunch except me.It would not be the janitor because this is not their break hour and they will be doing their jobs now.WHO IS IT?Where should I hide?But there is no place for me to hide,it will be so obvious if I hid behind the cleaning tools.Gia is searching for a place to hide but it was too hard as the janitor's room is not that big of a space and it is a little bit empty.Gia immediately hid her food and face the person.Gia is that you.A familiar voice.Yes it is me,Gia came out from the shadow.Thank god,it was Aimée.Gia felt relieved after knowing it was Aimée and not someone else that she does not like she thought it would be.Aimée questioned Gia.What are you doing here during lunch hour alone?Gia replied what are you doing here too?You answer first cause I came here first. Aimée

without hesitating replied Gia.I was looking for you.

What???Did she just said she was looking for me.Why me though?What did I do to her or like when did we even had a real conversation that made her want to come back and talk to me again.Everything is so weird today and I do not know what is yet to come.Where is her another half too?Why is it just her alone?Is she going to share secrets to me that I really do not want to know?Please do not tell me this has got something to do about Margot I am really tired of hearing things related to her.I should have just eat lunch at the gym.But it is too late I have to face the fact that she is infront of me now wanting to tell me something or ask me something.It could be anything.Here we go Gia.Gia was really sad as she wanted to enjoy her food in peace but now she has to face what Aimée about to say to her.It is really a lot for Gia to handle but she had to because she cannot escape from it.

Gia,I just wanted to tell you I am sorry.Like I am genuinely sorry for treating you badly from all the things my twin sister and I did to you.We talked rude to you,made you cry,hurt your feelings many time.But trust me Gia,all those things we did to you were not our intentions and we never ever wanted to do and put you in this kind of situations.You are really a nice and down to earth person but it is all about Margot.She controlled us as if we are her puppets.We had to do whatever she said if no things will go side ways for our dad.Our dad is working under her dad's company.She knew about this when her dad held a company's annual dinner in Paris,France and we attended and she saw us.That was when she knew she had someone who would do anything for her.

That is when she told us to be her bestfriends and we just have to follow whatever she do,and we had to.We had no choice.If you think that we are her actual bestfriends then you have got it all wrong.We are not and we are just forced to be her bestfriends.Gia was speechless for a while and then she accepted Aimée's apologies.We are cool,no worries and yeah I know how it feels to just even talk to her,you will feel like you are in a whole other world.But why she has no friend?Like she is popular,pretty and all but she still needs to use someone's weakness to make them her bestfriends.I mean fake bestfriends.She has the money to hire some people to just fake it but why affecting your parents jobs and career.She is really just so heartless.I wonder that she made herself heartless or she was brought my parents who were heartless too.I do not want to sound rude but that is what I see from her.

No..no you are not sounding rude at all infact you have a point over there.From what I know,she had told us before she tried making friends but it did not last.They were friends for like one to two weeks and later they are enemies.Gia replied.It is what it is,you get what you give.She will be nice for the first two days and later she would show them her wilderness and that is when they leave.I do not blame them for leaving her because if I was on their shoes I bet I would not even last for a day.Plus,I do not get it.Why does she always have to make people her enemies.She does not even see her fault and own it up but instead she steps them and make them like the evil one and she is all innocent.I agree with you Gia and we had a good and truthful conversation.I got to go now.Catch you later if we are able to.

Aimée left the janitor's room.Gia had a good smile on her face.Gia went back to her locker room to put back her lunch box and to see her locker room has a poster saying "EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO MY POOL PARTY TODAY EVENING" It is for us to celebrate our first day as Seniors.Did she on her right mind to put her poster on my locker?Why should I go?We do not even get along well and we do not like each other even a bit.While Gia was looking hard into the poster,out of the sudden,Alix showed up.Aimèe.Gia said to Alix.It is Alix,I know it is hard to identify us but are you coming?It would not be fun without you.You bring a whole good vibe.Gia was pleased when she heard that.Sadly no Alix,I would love to but I got plans with my mom.Which was a lie to cover up the real truth that Gia did not want to attend the pool party.

Alix with a sad tone replied.Why?Is it because of Margot.You do not have to worry because it was the principal idea for Margot to held it but do not worry principal would not be there.Principal idea?Why did she asked Margot to host a pool party?Ohh it is because..YOU DO NOT REMEMBER?Come on Gia.We were supposed to have a class picture but turns out the photographer could not make it as he was held back in the airport as his plane was delayed.Oh ya I forgotten,Gia replied.So it is not Margot who was the one who made this up.Nope..no at all.Okay I will come then,see you later.Alright I will have to head home to get things prepared,see you later Gia.

I was right she would not just put a poster on my locker.Now let's get this day done.I could not imagine that I have to see her face again.Gia went back home as her school hour has finished and she had to prepare for the pool party.When she entered her house,there was no sound like it was really very silent.I wonder where is mom,I thought she was supposed to be back home a few minutes ago.Should I check on her but she told me not to call her when she is at work.I think mom will be back by the time I finished with the pool party.Gia headed up to her room.She took her bath and got dressed up.Gia started questioning herself.Since it is a pool party does it mean I have to stand by my bikini.But everyone will start looking and I do not want that.I do not think I will get into the pool.Gia put on some make up and got dress in a beautiful pink dress which has glitter on it.

Let's go Gia.Gia entered Margot's backyard to see and she was blown away.The pool party was really mind blowing because it has a lot of balloons,colourful ones.There is like a station full with food and drinks but no alcohol cause it was supposed to be a pool party/class picture which is just a small event.Everything was aesthethic and everyone was in their best dressed.Everyone gathered around to listen to Margot's speech.A big thanks to our principal for choosing me to host this event.I am really grateful and I hope everyone will feel comfortable being here at my place and just enjoy this day.Thank you.She is really showing off.She really has a lot of energy for this.Aimée approached Gia.Hey there gorgeous,you look so stunning today.Can I get your number.Gia and Aimée laughed.Gia played along.I do not give numbers to stranger except for you,you really are slaying in your dress.Thank you.They said to each other.

Let's take the class picture.It is time.Aimée said to Gia.Everyone took their positions.The photgrapher said "Alright ready,in 3..2..1 say cheese."CHEESE"Everyone smiled to the camera.Some took solo picture,duo pictures but Gia left after the class picture.She did not have a friend even though there were Aimée and Alix but both of them were strangled up with Margot.Something is suspicious.Gia was fishy about something.Elliott was with us for a second to take the class picture and now he has dissappeared maybe he had to rush to the washroom.Gia continued with tasting the food and drinks.She started to dance along with Aimée and Alix and then they heard a girl screaming.
