Secret Trigger

Kira, Luca, and Bruno were on the road, terrifying the people of Athvan Town. They grimaced at other people's eyes, and they backed as far away as possible.

"No fun! I want to pound someone, but there's not a single pirate. I'm starting to think that lord Niklas played a trick on me, and I'm so innocent."

Luca and Bruno looked at her, uncomfortable. "Know when to stop talking. Our task was to get back the blades the agent gave to Leandre."

As she was walking through the street, her wide pants accidentally slipped off, and people's attention immediately turned to her. She looked down at her legs and paused. "Aw, my pants fell."

People's eyes were spinning with pink hearts. "Could you do something about your pants?!" yelled Bruno and became embarrassed. Kira gently reached for her pants and pulled them up while people behind her saw her bent bottom underwear.

"Hyup!" she pulled them up and reached behind her neck, chuckling. "Hehe, I should probably change them!" Bruno slapped his forehead while seeing several citizens falling down on the floor. "You can never miss Kira's lovely body!" shouted a man. His wife hurriedly slapped him to the ground. "We're breaking up." She walked away.

"Try to keep your pants up for when we come to Leandre." They waltzed on ahead as Kira nodded, blushing, laughing, adorably.

They arrived at the city hall and entered Leandre's office as the door slid open. Leandre raised his head and dropped the pencil. "Ah, I see. Niklas finally decided to deploy you to pick up his swords."

The three of them stepped in front of his desk, and Bruno slapped his palm on the wood. "Good to see you, Leandre. The sword's quality better be perfect. You know what happens when lord Niklas becomes furious."

"Worry not, young Bruno. Nicole, please bring the suitcase." Nicole bowed and walked into the back room. She waited for the door behind her to shut and quickly opened the suitcase. She reached out under the desk and inserted a special item below the cushion.

Once she placed it, she shut the suitcase and took it outside, then placed it on the desk in front of Bruno and the others. Kira, in the back continuously, tried to strike a fly that flew around her.

She accidentally slapped her face and received a red mark. "Ouchie..." She became furious and continued to swing her arms to hopefully hit the fly. "These are the swords?" questioned Bruno and became suspicious.

"Take a look for yourselves," Leandre added and waited for Bruno to open up the suitcase, after turning it around. Both blades were freshly built and had no scratches. "Guess you're not useless." He closed the suitcase and picked it up, moving it next to his hip.

"Here." Bruno dragged out a sheath of paper and tossed it onto the table. "It's the $100,000 for your good deeds." Leandre nodded, holding his hands together, and waited. "As a side note. On this island, Lord Niklas mentioned some dubious pirates. Be perceptive. Please let us know if you spot them anywhere in the area so that we can notify Lord Niklas about them."

"I understand, Bruno. However, currently, I have no information involving those pirates." Bruno turned around, keeping his gaze on Leandre for a moment longer. "Good for you..." Bruno's eyes twitched. "And will you stop touching your chest?!" angrily shouted Bruno as he looked at Kira who had been poking her chest because of the fly stuck to her clothes.

Kira quickly crossed her arms behind her back and smiled. "Woopsie! I forgot why we were here!" Bruno walked past her, sighed, and then waited for Luca and her to follow him. They exited through the sliding door.

Leandre quickly became serious as he leaned forward. "Nicole, did you place the trigger inside?" he asked. Nicole nodded, after growing solemn. "The trigger is placed under the cushion, safe and sound."

"Good. I don't want Niklas around here any longer. He's taken over this island and I tend to stop it. Nicole, do we have any information about the pirates, who they are?"

Nicole quickly placed the posters on the table and showed them to him. "It's the White-Haired Pirate Tim and his crew. They are the ones who took down Jawjack, Clawford, Sea Noble Byron as well as the 'Black Shock' Pirate, Muro."

Leandre became serious and continued. "Probably the best crew that set foot in our city. If you spot any of them, make sure to keep silent about them. They could be very useful."

"I understand, Leandre."

The man who earlier failed to capture Louisa stood inside the city at the hill, holding his cheek. "Damn that kid! I must admit, he kicks pretty hard." The soldiers approached him and bowed before him. "Outrider Peter. The two kids were spotted by our soldiers who were on guard duty close to the city's third hill. They had been eluding them while requesting help."

Peter let go of his face and put his arm on his left hip. "Well? What are you waiting for? Hurry up and inform others groups to hunt them down." The two soldiers stood up and saluted. "Ai! Right away, sir!"

The soldiers turned around and raised their arms in the air. "Divided into four groups, everyone should scour the slope for any intrusions. Make sure to alert the commanding lead about the position of the two kids if you see them."

The soldiers that were under the leaders' commands shouted in agreement and divided into four groups, leaving Peter behind, his fingers leaning onto his chin, thinking. "I find it unbelievable that a single child prevented our entire army from apprehending the thief. And ouch, my face stings so much!"

Somebody stepped behind him, calling out to him with a feminine voice. "Outrider, Kisling. What's happening here? Why's the whole city top being surrounded by our troops?" Peter turned around, looked at the woman, and sighed.

"Oh, chief, Rosi Bussler. I apologize for the inconvenience. There's been a small derail on our mission. The girl we've been hunting down for weeks seems to have been safeguarded by a random kid from the streets. We were required to divide our troops in search to hopefully apprehend them."

Rosi listened to Peter but didn't understand. "The girl is still evading your apprehension? We thought you could have completed this assignment earlier, so we've given it to you. You will be ejected out of the city if you don't find the girl in the next two days."

Peter smiled and leaned his elbow onto the wall behind her. "Rosi, please try not to be so harsh. Failure need not be a concern. We'll apprehend that kid and submit her to Lord Niklas. What do you say we go out for dinner after that?"

Rosi stood still, solemn in the face, and slapped his face, strong enough for him to turn his face to the side. "Focus on your mission." She stated, while Peter slowly looked at her and smiled with blushing cheeks. "Yes, of course. Anything for you, Rosi!" he chuckled, turned around, and immediately grabbed his cheeks.

"That hurt, though. Well, talk to you later!" he waved at Rosi and walked up the stairs, leaving her behind. She reached for the notebook and put it inside the purse, and pulled out a smaller notebook.

"No advancement, huh? He's been looking for this girl for three months straight? That's extraordinary. I should tell Lord Niklas about it and consult him on what to do concerning her." Rosi returned to the mansion and made sure to inform Niklas about the two children.

Kou and Louisa stood inside an alleyway while patiently waiting for the soldiers to move out from their view. They've searched every corner of the street and would eventually come to their location. "What are we gonna do now? They are everywhere and checking every area. If we stay here we'll be found for sure." Stated Louisa while Kou backed into the alleyway.

"Well, I could carry you and we could use the roofs. But based on your complaints, I don't think that's poss-" He paused the moment he felt Louisa instantly hang around him. His eyes immediately bulged out from his sockets as he noticed Louisa only an inch away.

"Let's do it. But you better not drop me." Kou could feel her chest press into his and become heated up. He nodded rapidly and agreed. "As long as you don't let go of me, you should be fine."

"Good, then let's go." Kou surrounded himself with green energy and began to wall jump to the top of the rooftop. The soldiers spotted him land at the top and pointed out at them. "There they are!"

The soldiers ran through the alleyway while Kou enhanced his speed and began to rush over the rooftops, making sure to keep Louisa close in his grasp.
