Chapter 8: Building A Team

No One's POV

In the morning.

John was having a bad time, finding his old comrades he remembered the day were James and John discussed to rebuild their team.

*Flashback after the battle*

As John and James were walking across the streets towards the convenient store to buy some food on the other side of the city. James took a glimpse on John's cellphone and saw unfamiliar people around him he decided to ask "John, may I asked you a question?" John stared at him and replied, "What's the matter?" He answered "John, we're severely out of recruits right now I have 30 new recruits, 20 active soldiers and lastly 50 reserves in total 100. that turns into a 1st platoon, right now we need 2nd platoon and that makes you a commander of the 2nd platoon you have Rookie, Ahab, Harry, and Gary after that, you need more about 10 or 15 members. what's your plan, John?" As John looked at his groceries and replied: " I think we need to discuss this in the office, my house". James looked at him and said "Very well John, lead the way" and walked.

*15 minutes later*

As they reached John's house they sit down and take a coffee to settle their plans. James broke out the silence" John, on Tuesday I will return to the army to prep my unit" he said. John looked at him and said "well that's lovely, inform me when you got back. While you are there I'm going to find them". James narrowed his eyebrow and asked, " whose your crew?" John replied "Just some old comrades" James sip his coffee then took out a file and handed over to John. "I got my eyes in your list John, you know what to do". He said John looked at him and took out his cell phone and got up then walks out before he opened the door James called him out. " John, what are you calling this task force? John looked at him, he smiled and said in 3 words.

*On the next day*

As John was surfing the web site through his computer and saw one of his friends he Click and send him a message, he didn't know that his friends were waiting for him to call.

"Hotel, Bravo, Charlie, Sierra, Alpha, Omega, Foxtrot, Golf, Jaguar, Kilo, and Lima. I know you heard this code names and I know you're waiting for me. This is for the record, history is written by the victor, the yore was now written. It's been years since we've joined and fought side by side against our old enemies, we've joined the military in the age of 18 before the 'Great War'. As the room was dark and many silhouettes figures encircled the table with a computer. " So, John has picked up the call eh?" the first man said and glance at his left man beside him "Yes, it's been 12 years since the 'Great War' I wonder what John's looks like," a second man said while looking at his cell phone and a puff of his cigarette. "Yeah, he is the one man left before our 'reunion' right mate?" he asked his pal on his front and the man in front of him smirk and said "Ya got there me. But, he is the one man who glued us up to make our team stronger than before" a man who sit on the chair while surfing the Internet through his computer and saw John's location. "Guys, on November 23rd we will meet John in Washington, DC make sure no one interrupt our meeting. Kevin, Paul and Robert you three will go sniper mode to keep an eye on the streets". A man named Kevin who wore a casual clothes like plain gray t-shirt, jeans, white skin, brown hair, black eyes and he wore a ring on his right hand on the middle. he and along with his friends nodded and a man continued " Dexter, you and Stephen will go with Tony to act as a bodyguards while Will, Franklin, and George will be position at the van to capture and bring him to my house and lastly Jeremy will be our bird" the people around him nodded and a man name Jeremy asked " If the plan goes worse what is out plan B, Bryan?" a man named Bryan looked at him and replied "Well, we'll get him anyways shock and awe." after that Bryan looked back at his computer and click a power off button..
