Chapter 10: The Wolf King
But Lady Luna didn’t need to know precisely how Aeliana would find out these bits of information… Because once Aeliana set out on a mission to find something, there was no denying that she would be able to do so.
“Show him to me,” Aeliana urged, unable to resist the urge to see him. Now that she knew that there was some sort of potentially magical wolf king, one who could save her from all her pain and suffering… She suddenly felt more than a little interested.
“Secret.” Lady Luna continued to ramble on, no matter how little Aeliana could actually understand her.
“Okay, we’ve established that.” Aeliana felt absolutely terrible that she was being so sarcastic with what seemed to be such a lovely, innocent creature, but she needed a stronger sense of reassurance, and there was no denying that.
But the wolf still refused to give in, as though the secret was very much worthy of being kept.
