Everyone present inside the ORC room was shocked hearing Karma's outburst, especially Kiba and Koneko. They had known him the longest and knew him as an always polite individual. So hearing him losing his cool and cursing was new to them. But when they finally registered his words, they were equally shocked.

" What's a Boosted Gear? " asked Issei so Rias went on to explain it to him.

" The boosted gear is one of the 13 ( it was 13 right ) Longinus which are the strongest sacred gear out there. Your Boosted Gear is one of the two strongest Longinus containing the soul of one the heavenly dragon, the heavenly dragon of domination Ddraig. All of the past users of boosted gear have been extremely strong individuals and I have confidence that you will be the same. " and that is how Rias finished her explanations.

(I am trying to detach my story from the canon plot so as to not make it boring so please ignore the differences in speech, battles, characters, etc. )

After that Rias explained both Karma and Issei about devil contracts and send them both to distribute the contracts outside...

And like that days passed, contracts got completed, Issei met Asia, things happened.

( You know all that canon story so I won't bother writing it since MC didn't play any part in it and it went according to canon. I'll focus the story on MC but I'll write about MC's contract jobs and Other characters canon interactions as side stories so don't fuss about it. )

In the passing days Karma's food stock also ran dry so he went hunting to fill his stocks again. Another notable thing was that he got message from Kokabiel saying that he needed to finish his job within one month.

( I don't know when the rating games were held in the timeline or the attack on kuoh by Kokabiel but I'm gonna assume they were within one month. Just bear with me I have a twist planned ).

Koneko was sitting in the sofa of ORC building when Karma entered the room. She frowned at him which was also noticed by Karma but he still didn't understand why? Koneko looked at karma and thought ' the smell of human blood on him is stronger today ' she turned her head away from him.

A little while later Karma had already left and Akeno came up to Koneko and saw her pondering about something so she asked " what's the matter Koneko-chan? you seem to be troubled by something? "

Koneko didn't understand what to think so she tried to take the help of Akeno and decided to tell her about her suspicions " Karma-senpai.....the smell of blood on him was stronger today. It was human blood " Akeno frowned at her words and cautiously asked her " Koneko-chan.....are you implying that Karma-san hurt someone? but why would he do that? "

Akeno didn't doubt Koneko's sense of smell since she knows that she's a nekoshou and neither did she want to doubt Karma. But when she thought about it, then she realized that the guy was very mysterious she didn't know anything about him or his parents or his enemies or basically anything except that he's handsome and polite and that he helped Rias but that was also because he needed her help. So she made up her mind to investigate him a little.

Karma was currently inside the church basement looking at Issei getting his ass kicked by a fallen angel. He was under the orders of Rias to just watch over him so he doesn't get killed. ' He's pathetically weak even after awakening such a strong sacred gear all that power is wasted on him. ' thought Karma.

( he directly awakened the boosted gear instead of twice critical back then so no magic power up for him now. He's just that inexperienced. )

After Issei defeated the fallen angel and Koneko, Kiba and Akeno had also defeated their opponent. Now here they are standing in front of the fallen angel watching her try to sway Issei by acting like his lover but Issei didn't buy it. Just as Rias was about to annihilate her with her power of destruction, Karma threw a lance made of wind element that directly pierced her heart and effectively killing her. Rias turned to look at him and he simply replied " I didn't like her and I also didn't get to fight earlier so I was...." Karma trailed off while looking around. " look lets just go back I'm hungry " said Karma and directly teleported away from there followed by everyone else.

That night Karma came back to the church for the body of that fallen angel ( Karma doesn't bother to know any of their names ) he couldn't just leave a rare fallen angel just like that now could he. So he bent down and started eating her when suddenly he froze. He slowly turned around with a bloody face and came face to face with Akeno.

" I came to dispose the body of the fallen angel I didn't understand when why Rias didn't just turn it to ashes but then I heard how you stopped her from doing that. I already had my suspicions when Koneko kept telling me how you smelled of human blood so now how are you going to explain yourself? " said Akeno while looking at him with a cold expression.

Karma was thinking what to do inside his head should he silence her? will he be found out? but all that thought went out of his head when he saw the Gremory house crest appear behind Akeno.

After Rias and everyone received the message from Akeno, they immediately arrived at the abandoned church. When they say Akeno facing someone, they were extremely vigilant but when they saw the face of the opponent, they were immediately shocked.

Issei looked at Karma and saw blood in his mouth and the mutilated body of Yuuma at his feet, he was extremely enraged, " bastard what did you do to Yuuma " shouted Issei and that broke everyone out of their shock.

Karma looked at faces of everyone and suddenly his heart felt heavy and he immediately tried to explain himself " everyone it's not what you think it is let me explain ".

Rias decided to interject at this moment " what do you need to explain? did you not eat a corpse just now? " Rias then suddenly thought of something and said " since you appeared in this town, a lot of stray devils and magicians that were supposed to be our responsibility have gone missing....that was you wasn't it " Rias said with extreme coldness laced in her every word ".

Everyone one was watching Karma waiting for his answer. Karma looked at everyone's faces and saw different expression of disgust, anger and sadness? Karma felt extremely sad at this moment he couldn't understand why? It was like he lost something precious his expression was also noticed by Akeno and Koneko but instantly his expression became cold again.

' Thats right that's the expression they should have towards me. This false reality that I have created around me had made me forget who I truly am. I am a monster and monsters don't have friends they don't have the right to be loved and.....they don't love. Deep in my heart I already knew that they would be the same but I kept on denying it all this time '. though Karma in his heart.
