Broken Doll

An employee with undeniable calm and grace approached Suyin, "Do you require some assistance?" Her gentle silvery voice seemed quite approachable, however, underneath Suyin could faintly recognise some fatigue probably because the overflowing customer coming in and out of the establishment, "My name is Da Fu and I am the head manager of this establishment," This person was in a quite a high position within this establishment. Despite this she continued to work with the other workers who were serving customers, however, due to popular demand for the product was understaffed to handle the workload.

Fidgeting with her fingers. Suyin knew that this was the person that would be able to access the secret service, "The scent of flowers lures butterflies," Her heart rate immediately quickened as she nervously asked for the secret service not knowing if they would still use this phrase or whether they were even still operating the secret service.

But Da Fu smiled at Suyin as she politely bowed, "Customer please allow me to escort you to our private reception room," With Da Fu leading the way up through the building, Suyin timidly followed behind. Da Fu gestured Suyin to a chair whilst she exited the room leaving Suyin by herself in the empty reception room.

Another female entered the room, she was quite opposite in terms of demeanour compared to the previous person, "What do you want? To find someone. Kill someone?" Her straightforwardness intimidated Suyin who could only quiver in front of the woman, "But, are you willing to pay the price?" The woman in front of her sat on the table, facing Suyin with a coy smile.

Suyin nodded as she bought out an expensive looking jewel that she always held with her. It was a keepsake that was precious to her, but it was worth sacrificing to save that poor girl. The translucent amber colour with speckles of red sprinkled within the jewel, Amber, which was considered precious to many since it took many years to crystallise, "I need to find the identity of a certain individual that I came across," The female was pleasantly surprised to see such a beautifully cultivated amber, waiting for the request. Throwing it into the air, "A petite girl roughly around 14-18 years of age with grey hair I think with grey eyes also," The female sucked in a breath as she caught the gem in her hand before disappearing in front of Suyin's eyes.

A slight sting located at her throat, "I don't know who you are and what your motives are," The harsh threatening shift in the woman's tone sent shivers down Suyin's spine, "Where is that girl you speak of?" Another sting of pain warned Suyin that if she didn't answer she would face death if she were the delay anymore of her time.

Suyin parted her lips, "She is held captive in a remote location within the mountains near the ocean," Her neck stung from the deadly blade that was pointed at her vitals. The woman obviously wasn't satisfied with Suyin's answers

The women continued pressed the blade against Suyin's neck which was now bleeding, "There are thousands of remote mountains near ocean," This conversation was going nowhere since Suyin was fearless of the girl and couldn't cohere the proper words to the location of the poor girl.

The door opened to reveal the same woman, Da Fu, that escorted Suyin into the room, "Bao Ming! I told you time and time again if you keep threatening the poor woman," Pulling the vicious girl away from Suyin to allow her to breath properly before placing some bandages and applying pressure onto her neck to prevent bleeding, "I apologise for any harm done to you but this sort of information needs to be accurate otherwise it would be a waste of time on our side and we don't tolerate false information." Da Fu was apologetic to Suyin but warned her about lying to them would lead to consequences especially for her. As Suyin thoroughly explain her slave contract with the man that took Fangsu and the experiment that was undergoing in the hidden mountain base. Continuing with traps, illusions and the pathway to the underground base and the intricacies of the equipment that held her captive.

After collecting all the information that was require Da Fu informed the Chen family members and the two siblings that came with Fangsu from her trip. Ang Siu quickly prepared to head out to get Fangsu but her own family member was much quicker and fully equipped with body armour, weapons and mask to conceal their identity. The three women; Liansu, Susu and their mother then moved out of the residence at astonishing speeds that even most people couldn't keep up, however, Ang Siu was the only one who was able to keep up. The three of them were intimidating to say the least almost demonic like they were prepared to punish anyone they had slight anyone that they cared about. A plain-looking girl was carried by Liansu who was at the front of the assembly was directing her to the exact mountain that held Fangsu. As Suyin check for any surveillance to see that they were very few security guards since no one really came to this location. As she was about to tell the group to hide so that she could redirect the security elsewhere while they could sneak in.

The bodies of the security guards immediately fell to the ground. All the three women killed a guard each before entering the faculty to see it was expectedly clean despite its disgusting acts of the containers where an abundant amount of dried bloodied bandages was tossed along with various amounts of rotten flesh. Everyone soon splits to find any information about their experiments and Fangsu. The complication layout soon left Ang Siu alone who was searching for Fangsu. The quicker the better. He could imagine what Fangsu's condition was now currently at. A small seedling of foreboding soon planted itself in his heart as time continued when he didn't find Fangsu to be anywhere. But a gentle hum of a song soon rung through the corridor where he was but it was difficult to navigate since the voice was bouncing off the walls of the many corridor that could lead to Fangsu could be at. Using spiritual energy, Ang Siu was trying to look for Fangsu's familiar spiritual energy, however, his spiritual sight was on the weaker side. So, it was difficult for him to pinpoint her location, however, he could tell the general area where she was.

Fangsu's spiritual energy was a small whitish flame that was shaped in a magnolia that was in the midst of blooming. Ang Siu soon reached her location rushing to free her from this prison. A giant steel door stood guard blocking him out. Pushing against the heavy doors that kept Fangsu inside. The sight that greeted Ang Siu was horrifying. Fangsu sat on top of a platform, surrounding but a lake filled with electric eels. She stared blankly at the lake filled with the electric fish as she was chained with specially made chains to contain her from using her spiritual energy to retaliate against her capture if blackmail wasn't an option. Her crumpled form laid on the uncomfortable stone platform which held her down trying to rest as she awaited her next experiment. Ang Siu quickly rushed to Fangsu but she didn't even bother to look up as if she never heard him.

Fangsu stared at the watery reflection of herself, dazed as she lost count of all the experiments that were performed on her body. Incisions of her body, insertion of medicinal herbs that corroded her body and injections of unusual medicines that healed her body back to normal. Her face had no colour, drained of all life, completely lifeless. The faint metallic click of the door that was the entrance and exit of the experiment facilities. Barely audible footsteps came closer to Fangsu, jumping onto the platform that that held her captive, "Fangsu, we gonna get you out of here," Gentle warm hands cupped her which caused Fangsu to nuzzle against those warm palms instantly knowing that it was someone she knew.

As the chains around her wrist loosened, "Don't, they will take Xiao Cheng," Her adamant refusal of her rescue accompanied by her helpless scrambling to her weakened feet, "Xiao Cheng, they will take Xiao Cheng if they know I'm gone," Gripping onto the figure for dear life trying to support her weak legs. Her body was shutting down on her.

Her blurred vision could only see a figure but the loud sound of people rushing into the facility, "Get away! They're here!" But before the figure to answer back she fell unconscious for no reason. Falling completely limp.

Fangsu's body just fell limp in Ang Siu's arms, "Don't close your eyes!" Quickly making work for the chains that held Fangsu hostage, "Your family is waiting for you!" He carried her away from the miserable dark place. Returning her to place she was meant to be. With her family. But Fangsu was just a broken doll. Her eyes were so dead. So empty. The despair had broken her like a shattered mirror. As he finally released her. Multiple people surrounded him as he held Fangsu with fragility as he was terrified of hurting her anymore, gently placing a kiss on her forehead before staring down at the people that surrounding him. Without any warning, showers of sword came falling from ceiling piercing through anything and everything that Ang Siu deemed an enemy. This onslaught continued until even after the bodies were left to be corpses.

Soon, explosion began boomed all around him, "Hey! Get out of here!" Liansu was popped of the ceiling as she threw a small round contraption in a direction where it exploded, blasting away the building to smithereens that half of the mountain had collapsed and that a landslide burring those security guard corpses that they left behind. But, before they could leave with Fangsu in hand they were surrounded again by even more guards that previously and they could only have each other back against each other, "Look alive everyone! We don't have much time before we have to go," Liansu absentminded spoke out loud as she began adjusting the armoured gauntlet that encapsulated her arm, but it was uncomfortable because it was a ready-made weapon, and it wasn't suited for her fighting style. Pulling out multiple small black balls that resembled medicine; Liansu disappeared in front of everyone's eyes stuffing down those balls down the people that worked in the faculty and were affiliated with the Third Prince who was gaining influence over the corrupted officials.

The demented man, Chao Dong, chuckled seeing such high concentrations of spiritual energy that was by the entire group had, "I see that one of my rats have gone stray but have bought more materials to my hands," Staring at Suyin who immediately hid behind the group completely terrified of the man as if he was the type to careless throw human life at the drop of the hat but if it was people but compared to the he experimented on were even worse; painful but ensured survivability, "This is all I could ever ask for! I can't believe you three were revived! Your bodies are stronger than ever!" It was like a sick cycle of torture on the physical body and mental. His maniacal laughter cause Liansu to smirk having someone as crazy as her to fight against but she knew better than to fight this type of man head on.

Liansu then began waiting. Then all the people she had stuffed the black ball into began foaming at their mouths and collapsed to the ground at which pointed were dead by the time they hit the ground, "Don't think I'm done after this!" Liansu pulled out a dull heavy sword that was probably better to bash someone head. That was her intention. Liansu haphazardly swung the blade so that potentially kill Chao Dong, however, he was agile as she was persistent and the two continued until Liansu threw her heavy sword at the man which managed to surprise him he didn't think she would abandon her weapon. Since most cultivators who used, a weapon would never let go of a weapon but she completely ditched it and quickly crossed the distance between them. Her fist soon connected with the man's face and continued to pulverise the man until he had died, "He's finally dead! He was jumping around like an annoying cricket." Liansu stood up from the corpse that lay beneath her feet. But, as she was about to walk away the headless corpse had grabbed her leg, clinging onto her ankles.

Suyin and Ang Siu panicked seeing an animated corpse moving, "He is still alive!" but Liansu just thrusted her hand through the chest of the corpse to find a core at where a human corpse was supposed to be at before she crushed it in her hands.

Then the body ceased function collapsing to the ground like a normal corpse, "Nothing too surprising since he is familiar with spiritual cultivators like us." Then the most surprising thing about the corpse was that was it had disintegrated like ashes before sinking into the ground like it was never there, "Smart move there." Liansu marvelled at the ground before dusting off her clothes from the non-existent dirt. Everyone then deicide to return back to the Chen residence.

Susu then asked for an important meeting including everyone that was relevant including all the Chen family members, the head of the Chen family, Chen Hong, The mother of the Chen daughters, Chen Wang Fang, The eldest daughter, Chen Susu, The eldest of the twin, Chen Fangsu, the youngest twin, Chen Liansu, the youngest adopted son, Cheng Ming but mostly called Xiao Cheng. Business partners included Wen Cheng and Da Fu. Close associates regardless of relations including Yun Nan, Qing Yuan Ang Siu and Sim Siu. They were all gathered in one room where Fangsu was resting. Susu stared at Liansu before looking at Fangsu, "I think it is best that Chen Family disappear completely and forever," Stating out loud for everyone who was present. Everyone in the Chen Family agreed seeing that ever since the reveal of the Chen family present in the capital it has only gained a mass of unwanted attention leading up to these events regarding if it was positive or negative.

Then Yun Nan, Wen Cheng, Da Fu and Qing Yuan then knelt on the ground, "We pledge to keep the Chen Family," But before they could continue with their pledge their allegiance to the Chen Family disappear and never to disclose their location or status.

The elder stopped the three of them, "There is no need to pledge allegiance to the Chen Family," He stared at Fangsu who was fast asleep, recovering from her traumatic wounds that stunned everyone, "We will remain in the capital to cut off our ties and erase our presence forever, but, mostly important we need to cut out the sprout that has plague our family for centuries even for my ancestors," He reminded everyone of their original goal to find out the perpetrator to their family decline and constant threat to their livelihood.

His daughter, Wang Feng, gently blew at the warm tea while hearing her father proposition, "Father? You are suggesting killing the Third Prince." The idea of killing a member of the royal family was of serious concern but the memory of her daughter being harmed by the Third Prince made her blood boil. Her father nodded affirming his idea.

Wen Cheng was the only one who spoke out, "Killing out a royal member is quite a serious crime," This was quite thing is royal family were considered the highest in the peak of society, "But, if they find out that we were one of the killers can cause severe backlash to our businesses including mine," It wasn't like royalty were any help to society and most of them were just lavishly spending money and flaunt it. Da Fu punched Wen Cheng in the arm glaring at him.

The old man chuckled at the young man's bluntness and his need for his business to survive, "No worry, we will handle everything so that it won't affect any of our businesses." Reassuring the young man who smiled, relieved that his business won't be affected, "I haven't forgotten about you two." The two siblings Ang Siu and Sim Siu were just spectators in this discussion, but they were actually important.

Sim Siu pouted at the thought of both Liansu and Fangsu leaving her all alone which would mean that she would be back to the mountains where she wouldn't be allowed out again, "Does that mean we can't see or visit you guys at all?" Sim Siu bluntly asked the old man seeing her bleak future of being the chief's daughter.

Liansu stood up as she looped an arm around the girl, "Of course you can!" Stating outlandishly knowing that Sim Siu was their only friend around their age that was as loud and fun to be around.

"That will be difficult since we will most likely moving the island to a completely new location," Susu was the one to quickly burst their small bubble quickly causing both the girl to sulk next to each other in the corner crying, "But, if you two want to continue seeing each other it can be done through a teleportation station but you two will need to find a trusted array master to build you one yourselves," Susu gave them the option and they immediately ran out of the building to find a reputable array master through Bao Ming who would be the person to know anything and everyone.

Susu, Wen Cheng, Da Fu and Yun Nan all left seeing that they heard all the things that they needed, and they were no longer required. This led to the grandpa, mother, Qing Yuan and Ang Siu in the room. Qing Yuan then took out a small mirror that soon vibrated in his hand till it revealed an old man similar to Chen Hong, "Sun Tai, long time no see my friend," The site of the old man caused a smile to Chen Hong's face.
