“Hey, it’s not a big deal for me. Plus, it’s not a problem because we know how hard you worked in the past years. No one is blaming you because an accident can happen anytime and anywhere. Rest assured,” Marvina laughed, dismissing her worry. “I know you’re worried about what those vile women would say but ignore them. All that matters is for you to get enough rest and to get well soon.” She encouraged her.
Jennet was relieved as a massive chunk of the worry that wrecked her heart had disappeared. However, she failed to completely erase the guilt in her chest for hiding the truth of the real cause of her injury.
Marvina coughed as she spoke, “By the way, I want to ask about something that I am curious about,” she chuckled, excited for a reason.
“About what?” Jennet asked, hiding the uneasiness that had crawled into her mind.
