"I shouldn't have eaten the cookie that idiot gave me!" Alex said while groaning in pain

He stood up from his bed as he heard someone ringing the doorbell. He quickly wore his pants and fix his hair hoping that some bigshot has finally come and notice his potentials.

He opened the door and his jaw dropped as he saw a beautiful lady who he thought he will never meet in real life.

'ITS THE FUCKING BEAST PRINCESS!'

"Is Owen here?" the princess asked

"Owen??"

The face of the two went blank as they don't know what each other is talking about.

"Owen Grace, the one with the ice ability? You know the one lives here, or maybe you're a thief who broke onto his house." the princess said on a menacing voice

"Of course I am not a thief! I am the one living in this apartment for 8 years, you can even ask the neighbors and the landlord!" Alex shouted feeling kind of offended

"But Owen said that this is home, and we even did it inside.." the princess said on an awkwardly low voice

"You did what!!!" Alex shouted which grabbed the attention of nearby people

"Uhm forget everything I told you today I am going to take my leave." the princess said as she ran off with tears coming off her eyes

'What's wrong with her??' Alex thought

Alex shuts the door down and suddenly went on a fighting stance as he heard a voice.

"Why the fuck is it so dark?"

Alex looks around every corner of his apartment but there is no one there.

"Weird maybe its just the headache making me hear things."

'I feel like something has awakened inside me.'

Alex went to the balcony of his unit and there he took deep breath and do a gesture of a gun with his right hand, he pointed it towards the sky and released 2% of his flames from the tip of his fingers but It generated a strong recoil pushing him back inside.

'I'm so strong yet I'm so weak.'

He leaned his head on the wall remembering images of someone important to him screaming in pain as she was being burned in fire along with other people.

'I guess being dramatic wont help me get better...'

Alex grabbed his phone and looked at the current events on the internet especially on the hunter's organization.

He opened his system tab and notice that he have so much unseen messages from his friend he drank with.

Everything seems to be normal but the date of the messages caught his attention, July 12.

'Impossible is the system having an error cause I swear its suppose to be 12 today.'

He checked Tyler's latest message and it says,

"Dude I wish you're alright but you should check Lyrr's(the beast princess) profile, she now has a boyfriend with some pretty epic ice abilities."

"So Is he talking about this Owen guy, Lyrr just told me?"

Alex went onto Lyrr's profile, and his imagination started running wild, he started thinking what his life might be if only he could control his fire. Deep down Alex knowns the beast princess would never fall for a nobody with almost 0 ability.

As he Lyrr's profile stopped loading, he was greeted by a crying emoji followed by pictures of her and a guy that looks like him but with a white hair and blue eyes.

'He's a totally opposite of me, ice abilities, white hair, blue eyes, this dude suits the princess perfectly.'

'Although I really wish it was me, but if weren't for these super dangerous ability of mine then I wouldn't have a problem getting her attention.'

Alex stomps on the floor but soon realize that stomping on the floor wont make things better for him.

He took a bath, went to his room wore black ripped jeans, a black turtleneck and the last thing he wouldn't forget is his white hoodie which he left unzipped.

He left his home and take a cab to reach the nearest Forest with monsters that are on par with the boars.

He have arrived at his destination, the cab stopped at the bridge since people with no powers are too afraid to go near monsters.

"Well its time for another 1% hunting." Alex mumbled

Alex called it the 1% hunting because of the fact that he can only use 1% of his flame cause using more than that can take a huge toll on him. That one percent may be strong enough to beat boars in one go but it isn't strong enough to take down monsters who are capable of thinking.

He went to an open flat area where Boars are casually running around like madman but as soon as Alex stepped out the shade, all their attentions went to him and all of them started charging into him one by one.

'A thousand boars? Maybe they haven't recovered yet when I incinerated 10000 of them last month.'

Alex raised both his hand making a hand gesture as an orange flame ignited everything that goes 10 meters close to him.

It took 5 minutes but the system knew how hard to use his ability is so he would still be given additional reward for killing a thousand of them plus he can trade their meet and hide for money and food.

"Fuck I need to get out of here!" Its the same voice as Alex heard a while ago

He looked around but he couldn't see anything.

'What the hell am I hearing?" He asked to himself

He stepped backwards ending up hitting the chest of someone taller than him.

The stranger pulled up a picture and show the bald guy that Alex accidentally hit.

"It definitely looks like him." One of them said

"Hey kid have you seen your twin?" the bald guy asked

"I don't have a twin..." Alex replied

"Lies then who the hell is this guy who turned all our loot into ice!" The guy behind said showing a picture of someone with white hair and blue eyes

'I feel like something has awakened inside of me, and it wants to get out.'

"I... I.."

Alex's vision turned black and all he could hear is indistinctive noise that looks like it is coming from every side of his.

"Where the hell am I?" Alex asked

The strangers were shocked to see that the guy with black hair who is just in front of them suddenly became the person who they were looking for.

"Did that kid turned into our guy?"

"Too noisy..." The white haired guy said

"So what if I turned all your loots to nothing??"

This angered the bald guy making him charged toward the white haired boy but the boy is just too quick he jumped and spin his legs midair hitting the bald guy in the head.

The bald guy's body didn't fell in the ground instead his lower body turned into ice and his head is just inches away from the ground.

"What the hell's with this white jacket black jeans, and a turtle neck? I don't remember wearing anything like this." the boy whispered

"I'm so sorry for charging like that, I would no longer interfere with your doings just please get me out of this thick ice, My name's Vorden!" the bald guy pleaded

"Very well, My name's Owen Grace." the boy said as the ice is melting

"Why the fuck is it so dark?!"

Owen heard this making him turn around.

"To that person who just shouted can you shut the fuck up!!!" Owen said

"Wait did you hear me?" Alex said

"Of course I could you noisy idiot, I have been on a long nightmare and when I wake up I find myself in weird clothing and in front of me are several weirdos!" Owen exclaimed

The strangers and Vorden are just looking at each other wondering who this guy is talking to.

"Brother Vorden, I think this guy lost it." Vorden's henchmen said
