Lucas had forgotten about Samuel once the competition started. His initial surprise over meeting him again was taken by indifference. After all, it was better if he fully focused on the bake-off.
Lucas remembered that Samuel was defeated by his opponent, marking the end of his participation. That was the only thing he was aware about the latter.
Yet, this man dared to come forward and bring up the same slander as before?
