Chapter 17: Curiosity Emerging, Day 3 and 1st room

At one of the far corners of another universe in the domain of Finality lies a library with countless tall bookshelves spanning three galaxies in total.

Somewhere in the labyrinth of shelves was a androgynous looking figure cross sitting as they read a pale blue cover book to seemingly pass the time. The entity kept on reading the piece of literature until a foreign voice echoed in the domain

"I see you're still the same as ever, Terminus!!!!" The voice was very whimsical as snickering started to echo as he revealed that the figure reading was one of the 18 Aeons, Terminus the Finality!!!

Terminus, who was reading closed the book as they stood up, looking at a lit isle where the voice came from. They were met with a tall beauty wearing a (black and white checkered patterned) steampunk tail coat, a corset pants, victorian leathered boots and a thin mask with a smiling expression strapped on her upper right shoulder.

"What is it do you want to ask me Aha?" Terminus said as they started reading another page of the book while their body leaned on the tall shelves. The Aeon of Elation, Aha, is one truly unpredictable god that no one can comprehend and others wouldn't even dare to think of trying.

After all they are a being that would give a decent portion of their strength to a weak space worm for personal satisfaction.

Aha approaches terminus before finally facing close to them "Come on, I realized something interesting which might get your attention" she tilted Terminus' head away from reading the blue book and moved it to look at Aha with their head moved up gently. As they now face each other with their lips almost close to making contact with each other

Aha then continued "That Vache kid... He seems to be an interesting one. A mortal that had such a heavy duty, and a seemingly large plethora of tragedies" She said with a warm smile but her eyes showed a feeling of pure anticipation of what to come

Aha just discussed further about Vache's origin while Terminus just ignored her chatter while reading as Aha's voice began to slowly echo throughout the domain

----[Vache POV]----

'Man, Yesterday was a bang' I said while drinking some hot chocolate outdoors. Yesterday I earned a lot of stuff having fun along with Goo, who was singing some K-pop music from BTS, B-block and others. Tired from that fun activity, Goo decided to leave yesterday while I closed my stream then slept well inside my tent, my body wrapped by my sleeping bag

Now it's just me finishing my morning meal with a something warm filled with some sugar.

"Well let's see what I should do next" I muttered as then continued drinking around then stopped moving my sights up seeing Mt. Tainheng

See it made me think if the Traveler and their emergency fo- *ahem* I mean guide, Paimon are now doing the archon quest where they inform the Adepti of Morax's death

If not, I need to ask if there's any information on them later to see how far they are so I can follow them in their travels if I want to. Why? Cause the Traveler is literally a certified protagonist and as a player of the game that played up to the |[--]| update. I would want to see the drama up close myself.

When I meet them I'll just be like an extra interfering with the story since why not but I have to make sure the I don't cause too much change in the game's plot, though I do want to kill that fucker Azar

Seriously just thinking of his actions and his reasons for giving Nahida horrible treatment makes me want to break every bone in his damn body and make him beg like he was suffering in the farthest depths of hell

I'll just think about doing that later for now I need to get to level 30 and also these two

'Who knew singing for would be a good way to get some bonuses in a livestream' I thought while looking at the information it seems that my skills and other items show their {Rating} which basically shows their value being better when they're higher.

'Not that'll help much but well you know just think nothing much about it me' I said while now ignoring the 2 new passive skills I got. I started to focus on something else, a different feature which should get me to the needed EXP and it was the {Commission Board}.

I started looking at quests that would help me get to Lvl. 30 and possibly earn some other stuff while I'm at it so it's just me scrolling down quest by quest...37 minutes later, I managed to find one which fit my requirements causing me to feel too surprised from this one.

[Conquer the Tower | Rating: Mythic | Description: Explore and Defeat all 180 bosses on all 180 floors made by the 18 Aeons. Accepting this quest will automatically unlock the feature {Game Modes} and {Tower} to begin exploring. This certainly gave me every reason to scream with excitement "This is way too good!!!" I exclaimed dramatically as this was unbelievable but I started to regain my composure as I thought that this is giving me dungeon vibes from this.

What do I do now? Should I accept? I'm accepting it of course, because if this is one of the dungeons. It will have some low level enemies in the first floor and it will progressively get more difficult the more floors you go.

As such, it'd be nice to see the difficulty of the 1st floor first and if it gets too out of hand I can use that retreat option if things get out of hand

So I pressed Yes, Immediately after that I was then transported to the large space from last time (When I met Goo for the first time)

Everything looked the same except one of the 19 Gates was replaced with a large spatial hole.

Having no clue I just stood there and asked Sel if it was ok to activate streaming right now and they said there shouldn't be problems. So I told them to activate it, causing a pile of Windows to emerge in front of me and one of them was Goo requesting to enter (Which I accepted)

"Morning my namdongsaeng!!!" Goo greeted me then proceeded to look at the spatial gate "This wasn't here before... Wait did you unlock!?" Bullseye, Goo guessed and felt gobsmacked seeing that he was right even though I didn't say anything yet.

"You're right, this was something I got from accepting a commission from the system"

"So where does it go?" Goo asked as he looked closer to the glowing entrance, I responded "Possibly the lobby or the 1st floor of the {Tower}" my voice was laid-back as I talk with Sel if there's anything I should be wary of.

Unfortunately, I was only met with a monotonous voice stating that it's inaccessible. So I didn't bother asking further and decided to just buy items and skills to prepare while Goo just chatted with chat.

Last night it seems that Goo still sees the livestream if he wants to as a fellow viewer making him see chats messages on his screen.

Anyway I ended up buying 2 protective vests, silver tipped spear for myself and a well made katana for Goo though I doubt he'll use it

"Now those were purchased time to check some 1 to 2 star skills" I murmured to myself after giving the katana to Goo, who felt a bit hesitant but took it out of my hands

Checking the shop for something good like the [Ethereal Breathing Technique]. A little while later, I purchased [Block], [Taunt] and [Strike]

Even though [Strike] is just a 1 star it still cost me a lot of points to purchase due to its rating which was the same with the items I bought for myself and Goo. Still this might be helpful

"Ok now it's time to go and see what I got myself into" I then looked at Goo knocked at his back lightly and gained his attention

He then looked at me "So are you going now?" Goo said in a polite way which still makes my skin crawl just from seeing this personality of him

"Yeah let's g-" I then responded but didn't continue as I realized something and I felt dumb

Seeing my expression Goo looked at me with a smile making me assume that he guessed something correctly but I can't assume that yet.

"Yeah, I just realized that you might not be able to enter" I said in embarrassing manner "Eh, I thought you realized that your luggage is missing"

Goo tilting his head as he pointed at me specifically my back and my upper body.

"Oh that... They don't really have anything useful so I don't think it would matter" I clarified to Goo which nodded and switch to another topic "Let's test it out then" He said with a mischievous grin

Causing me to respond in confusion "What do you-" "Let's see if I can enter with you" Goo answered nonchalantly just as I was about to finish my question

"Oh ok then let's go" He nodded with affirmation as we passed through the spatial gate sending us to what seems to be a modern family size room with a lot of video equipment.

While seeing this a notification appeared in front of our face. Goo felt a bit interested towards this message but me on the other hand I could only feel a bit confused and astounded seeing this

As the screen disappeared a male figure entered the room. He was wearing a pink shirt with a plain gray blazer, and black pants. Both me and Goo look at the man who

"So you must be Steven's friend I've been hearing about" The man said in a asian accent. Vache knew that this man is Steven He or at least the character he plays most

'Well this definitely is the weirdest one I've seen today' I thought to myself as the this will be a worthwhile experience. Oh boy I was wrong.
