Evil Apollo

Apollo, on the other hand, broke free from his trance and opened his eyes in a pitch-dark place. 

Although he was in a trance, he still knew that he was suddenly swallowed by the shadow, and since it seemed he was not dead, there was a chance to leave this place alive. 

Which he needed to find quickly. 

He tried to see where he was, but he could not see anything or feel any other presence around him. It is also possible that this place can interfere with his senses, and he might not be the only one present here. 

"Hello, is there anyone here?"

He still tried and shouted to see if there was anyone here, but the result disappointed him, as it seemed he was the only one there.

But just at that time, the surroundings around him started to change with a sudden eye-blinding brightness, and he seemed to appear in the backyard.

He was not in an unfamiliar backyard but in the backyard of his family's castle, where he had trained every day for most of his life. The sky was bright with the sun shining brightly, and birds were chirping while cool breezes blew.

"Is this an illusion? Why I am here?" 

He was surprised that suddenly he seemed to appear here, but what was shocking was the feeling he felt when he tried to touch and feel the land, grass, and everything else seem so true. The feeling of smell and touch seems too real; if he had not fought for his life a moment ago, he might believe he returned to Fletcher's castle.

As he was mesmerized by how good this illusion or whatever this was, the sky above his head suddenly changed as the bright sun became bloody red, the chirping of birds stopped as a silent, eerie feeling permeated, and a portal that seemed to break the sky appeared with a person seeming to walk out of it.

"What the F**k!"

The person who walked out was not someone else, but himself. At least their faces looked exactly the same as he was looking in the mirror.

He was flabbergasted, as he did not expect this turn of events. He is now facing a twin, and it seems to be an evil twin. 

As he can see the cockiness on this Apollo's face, plus he did not want to admit it, but the badass entry with such a dark background setting, he is ninety-nine per cent sure that it's an evil twin.

But this was better than being dead; when he was swallowed by shadow, it was so fast that he could not do anything. Now that these weird things are happening in front of him, which means there is still a chance that he can leave this place alive.

Since there was hope, all he needed to do was try with all his might, as he did not want to die while lying down like in his previous life. 

The moment Apollo understood that he had been given a second chance, he made up his mind that he did not want to feel the same despair and wait for death; rather, he would fight to the bitter end of it, whether he could survive or not.

"You look quite confident as if you can leave this place." With a smirk, the evil Apollo said as he looked towards him.

"I'm not confident, but if it's just you, then may be." Apollo also exchanged a few words with his evil twin, feeling a little awkward to talk to himself.

"You will know in a few moments that you remained here for eternity while I roam the world and kill, f**k and devour everyone you know or care about."

"Hmm!"

Apollo was surprised by hearing his mirror twin's words, as it was not some illusion but a real entity, and wanted to take his place.

The evil twin Apollo's aura started to change and release a powerful, darker aura similar to the death beasts he faced before in the ruins. But at the same time, it was different from the death energy he felt from those beasts.

Apollo quickly adjusted his state as he felt danger from his twin. His aura also changed, and the surroundings around him started to freeze.

But this time, this change was not just ending there—the chilling cold ice aura around him continued to merge with his body— his entire physical appearance started to transform.

His eyes and hair slowly turned crystal white, and his skin became fairer. His entire look was completely different from before; if he were to stand before others, many might not even be able to identify him.

The backyard started to freeze, and in a few moments, half of the entire backyard was completely frozen.

Because of both Apollos' auras, the place was utterly divided. One half was like a frozen hell, with all living things frozen in the movement they made, while the other half was a black, horrible hell full of death and blood.

"Look like, it's going to be fun."

Both of their hands have different energies. In Apollo's hand, his ice life force turned into a long blue ice sword with chilling cold energy; on the other hand, his evil twin's death energy turned into a dark pitch black spear with a blood aura on it.

Let's see who's better."

The evil Apollo cannot seem to wait any longer, as he was the first one to initiate the attack, and with speed that seemed to break the sound barrier. 

The spear in his hand was aimed directly at Apollo's head with the clear intent to kill.

Apollo's eyes glowed with a cold glow, just like his counterpart. He was also not going to show any mercy to his enemy because their faces were the same.
