The Secret Meeting

Ethan felt a sense of trepidation as he walked out of class with Rachel. She led him to a quiet corner of the school courtyard, away from prying eyes.

"What's going on, Rachel?" Ethan asked, trying to keep his voice low.

Rachel glanced around nervously before focusing on him. "I know what's been happening to you," she said. "I've seen the symbol on your hand, and I know what it means."

Ethan's eyes widened in shock. "How did you...?"

Rachel cut him off. "I've been watching you, Ethan. I've seen the way you're acting, the way you're always looking over your shoulder. And I've figured out what's going on."

Ethan's heart raced as he tried to process what Rachel was saying. "What do you know?" he demanded.

Rachel took a deep breath before speaking. "I know that you're not just some ordinary high school student, Ethan. You're something more. You're... special."

Ethan felt a shiver run down his spine. "What are you talking about?"

Rachel pulled out a small notebook from her backpack and flipped through the pages. "I've been researching, Ethan. I've been trying to figure out what's going on with you, and I think I've found something."

She stopped at a page with a strange symbol drawn on it. "This is an ancient rune, Ethan. It's a symbol of power and magic."

Ethan's eyes widened as he stared at the symbol. He knew that rune - it was the same one he had seen in his dream.

"How do you know about this?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Rachel leaned in closer. "I have my ways, Ethan. But I think I can help you. I think I can help you unlock your true potential."

Ethan felt a surge of hope and fear mixed together. What did Rachel mean? And how could she possibly help him?

As they stood there, frozen in uncertainty, Ethan couldn't shake off the feeling that their conversation was being watched.
