Rosalind rushed at me, preparing to strike me down. Yeah, as if!

With lightning-quick precision, Rosalind unleashed a powerful slash, her sword hurtling towards me with a fierce intent. However, with a fluid motion, I intercepted her blade, holding it by the edge.

"Is that the best you've got?"

I pulled her towards me before throwing her into the air, punching her in the gut a couple of times. While she was still recovering from my hits, I grabbed her by the hair, dragging her across the ground before throwing her away from me.

"You're a fool if you think you can beat me with pure swordsmanship." I grin.

Rosalinda wiped some dirt off her face, looking at me with an angry glare.

"Why you...!"

Rosalinda rushed at me once again. I was expecting better from her, being a "talent" or something like that. Her spells are much inferior compared to mine.

As Rosalind unleashed a swift horizontal slash in my direction, I evaded her blade with a simple sidestep. The rush of air brushed against my skin as her attack missed its mark. I swiftly launched a counterattack, aiming a powerful punch towards her. Yet, Rosalind swiftly raised her sword to block my strike. The clash of metal echoed through the air as her sword deflected my punch, the impact sending a jolt of force rippling through my arm.

The sheer strength of her parry knocked me off balance, sending me stumbling backward.

"That's interesting. Your sword should have broken on impact. Yet, it absorbed it and sent it back towards me. What's your secret?"

"Why would I tell you that?" She straightened her posture.

"It doesn't matter. I'll find out eventually." I grin.

"Come at me, noob."

Rosalind rushed towards me, launching a series of fierce slashes. However, with swift and calculated movements, I effortlessly dodged each and every one of her attacks. In a moment of opportunity, I swiftly ducked under one of her slashes, causing her to lose her footing as I tripped her legs. Before she could regain her balance, I delivered a swift and precise kick to her gut, sending her flying across the stadium.

"Come on, you can do better than this!" I smirk, my arms crossed.

Rosalind finally regained her balance, breathing heavily.

"How... How are you doing that!?"

"Why would I tell you if you don't want to tell me your secret?"

Groaning in discomfort, Rosalind leaned on her sword for support, using it as a brace to regain her footing. The strain of the blow I had delivered was evident in her movements, but her resilience and determination shone through as she summoned the strength to stand once again.

"What tenacity! Well, it would be boring if you didn't. " I smirk.

She just stared at me, still catching her breath.

"Well? Am I going to come to you, or are you going to come to me?"

Rosalind rose to her feet, her determination unwavering as she swiftly closed the distance between us. Despite the brutal beatdown she had received, she remained undeterred, driven by a fierce resolve.

'Hm... there's a lot of mana gathering within her. Is she going for one final attack?' I think to myself.

Suddenly, all of Rosalind's mana surged into her sword, infusing it with an extraordinary power. The blade underwent a breathtaking transformation, radiating a vibrant and enchanting hue of brilliant blue. The sheer intensity of her focused mana filled the air, casting an ethereal glow upon Rosalind as she rushed towards me. It was a remarkable sight, but that is all it is. A lightshow.

"Heh."

As Rosalind's blade descended upon me with tremendous force, the sheer impact seemed to shake the very ground beneath us. The surrounding environment quivered in response to the immense power unleashed by her strike. A shockwave rippled outward, disturbing the air and causing a flurry of debris to be swept up in a chaotic dance.

The ground, once stable, bore the marks of her strike, deep grooves etched into its surface as if nature itself recoiled from the sheer force of the attack. The sheer power of her slash reverberated through the atmosphere, creating a momentary distortion that distorted the light around us, casting an ominous and surreal ambiance.

The impact sent a gust of wind rushing outward, disturbing the foliage and causing nearby objects to tremble in its wake. The resonance of her strike seemed to linger, the environment itself seemingly in awe of the raw energy she wielded. Smoke filled the stadium before eventually disappearing. And there I was, unfazed.

"Nice job, you ALMOST broke my barrier." I grin.

Rosalind and the crowd seemed to be in shock at this.

"Allow me to teach you a lesson you'll never forget!"

I closed my eyes, taking deep breath. With each breath, I focused on gathering mana within me. The flow of energy grew stronger, filling me with a sense of power. My eyes snapped open, gleaming with an intense flare that seemed to ignite the very air around me. Simultaneously, a vibrant and incandescent flame erupted from deep within, swiftly enveloping me in its fiery embrace.

The radiant glow of the bright red flames illuminated the surroundings, casting a captivating and fiery aura. The scorching heat emanating from the inferno intensified, wrapping me in a shroud of power that crackled with raw energy.

I surged forward towards Rosalind, the scorching presence of a flame dragon taking shape behind me. The fiery beast materialized, its majestic form imbued with the essence of fire itself. I launched a powerful punch towards Rosalind, propelled by my incredible speed. As my fist connected with her, the impact reverberated through the air, sending shockwaves of energy.

The flame dragon pierced through Rosalind with its scorching might. The sheer intensity of its presence was enough to leave anyone awestruck. And just as the flames engulfed her, I seamlessly appeared behind her, my positioning swift and seamless. She fell to her knees, dropping onto the ground.

"I always wanted to do that. Get schooled noob!"

1. There are three types of barriers that mc uses, and only one that everyone uses. There is (slim), (sphere), and (small).

(Slim) is when the barrier is fit slimly around the user, like a coat. It's an extra layer.

(Sphere) is the normal one everyone uses. Think of it like a forcefield, where the user is inside an invisible sphere. (Barriers are not invisible in this novel)

And finally (small), which is what the mc did in chapter 1. Chapter 1 paragraph: "I control my barrier to form around my arm. I grit my teeth as I force it to be in the shape of a ball as small as my fingertip. I hold the barrier within my fingertip."

2. (weak) and (lesser) are basically weaker versions of the original spell.

3. [Clairvoyance] is a spell made by the mc. The more simple explanation to how it works in my novel is ultra instinct, observation haki, or spider sense.
