The 17 years old Allan right now is confused, last night he got to sleep after finishing his homework, he work on it till 2 AM and got asleep on the table, then when he wake up there's a square blue screen? in front of his face.
'what's this?'
'am I still dreaming?'
looking to the screen in front of him he realized there's an 'x' at the upper right corner of the screen, he tried to touch it resulting the screen to vanish.
'it's gone'
'so it just an illusion?'
"Allan WAKE UP, YOUR GOING TO BE LATE TO SCHOOL"
"YES MOM"
Allan jump at his mother voice, not wanting to upset his mother he quickly prepared to go to school, the blue screen temporarily forgotten from his mind.

After having breakfast and his mother scolding for staying late Allan clean himself and preparing to go to school, double checking his stuff he look at his reflection on the mirror.
Allan is a chubby and average size with a brown hair and eye he look like a normal 17 years old teen, wearing a black pants and white school uniform with a blazer. His school emblem, Vermilion highschool, presenting proudly on the right side of the chest.
Satisfied with his current look, he took his bycicle and left for school.
"I'm leaving"
"bye honey, be careful and study well"
His mother replied cheerfully.

Vermilion highschool, it is one of, wait no, it's THE biggest school in the city it even have their own college, supported by the nation itself the school have the best teacher and facility to support the student education. Producing many big figure and numerous expert that is active in many fields of study.
While usually school like this is impossible for average people like Allan, surprisingly the school have a very affordable entrance fee, it seems that the founder of the school wish for everyone to have the best education no matter what their background is, which is supported by many people earning them lots of sponsor in addition of the nation support.
As such it is very much clear that this school is a VERY prestigious one.
When Allan arrived at the front of the school there are already numerous student walking to the school entrance, then suddenly.

Surprised, Allan lost balance and fall to the ground with the bike drawing laughter from the people around him.
"What the?"
looking at the screen in front of him, he exclaimed.

A familiar voice behind him called, when he looked back he saw his classmate Eric grinning.
"you're going to stand or stay like that, chubby?" he said.
Eric has been Allan classmate since middle school, he look like a nice educated and cultured young man, but contrary to his look and he is surprisingly have a nasty mouth.
"You can either help me or scram Eric" Said Allan
"Tch, here take my hand, I can't stand looking at your sorry mug"
Eric offer his hand to help him stand, still the same old Eric. Not that he expect him to change in one night, but hey a man can hope right.
"Thanks"
"No prob, so what wrong? you just suddenly fall like that, did you get brain damage after all this time?"
'I wonder what kind of punishment to break someone nose in this School? thought Allan, honestly this guy is.'
Even though he piss him off, Allan is thinking of asking him about the blue screen in front of him.
"Well, did you see some blue screen around here Eric?" he asked
"Blue screen?" Eric repeated before looking around, and then looking at him.
"It seems not only your brain got damage your eyes as well"
'So he can't see it, thanks for the obvious Eric. oh and damn you' Allan cursed while dismissing the blue screen.
"That kind attitude will make you hard to find a girlfriend Eric" warned Allan.
"Tch, is that what you think Al, just so you know courting girl is A waste of time. Why? because they either distract or annoy you with their unending complain which I might to tell you is completely utter nonsense." Eric said annoyed.
Well, he is quite loud, but Eric I know you talked like that because you are awkward with a girl, don't think I forgot about what happened last year hehehe.
"I see, you might want to keep that to yourself Eric" Allan said while looking around with awkward smile.
"Huh?" confused Eric.
Only then he noticed that everyone looking at him, in fact ALL the girl around is glaring, ahem, looking at him and the men is looking away from him, clearly they don't want the girls thought they are associating with him. Seeing the situation there is only one thing he can said in a time like this.
"Shit" Eric whisper.

After that eventful morning the day went normal, except for the fact Eric got cussed by many girl other than that it's just the boring school class, that's it.
Allan right now is in his room, after dinner he return to his room and wondering about the blue screen that appear this morning.
'what is that thing?'

While he sure that the blue screen is not dangerous in anyway, he can't have it appear suddenly like this morning.
'there must be some way to call it out' thought Allan.

'so I was right' Allan like any other teen his age while an introvert it's impossible to not recognize a clearly RPG like number in the blue screen. Hey, even he know what RPG is. And he also quite familiar with gamer power from many light novel, it seems like it's a VERY popular genre among light novelist.

From the now Allan dubbed 'status screen' he can see his own stats and thinking to make do from there.

STR : Short for strength, represent raw physical strength, affect body mass, muscle, and fat, and increase your weight lifting limit.
PER : Short for perception, represent the ability to see, hear, taste and notice unusual things, increase awareness and intuition.
END : Short for endurance, represent constitution and physical toughness, increase stamina and affect host metabolism.
CHA : Short for charisma it's a combination of appearance and charm. A high Charisma is important for characters that want to influence people with words, increase any and all skill related to socialize, it affect a few other skill as well.
INT : Short for intelligence, represent knowledge, wisdom and the ability to think quickly, increase your memory capability, thought process, and information gathering.
AGI : Short for agility, represent coordination and the ability to move well, increase movement speed and reaction speed.
LUC : Short for luck, represent fate, and karma. An extremely high or low Luck will affect the character - somehow. Events and situations will be changed by how lucky (or unlucky) your character is. Don't ask sometime things just happen.
NOTE : Physical stats ( STR, END, and AGI) defending on their balance will affect Physical appearance, mental stats (PER and INT) will effect skill learning, skill Exp, and general Exp, social stats (CHA and LUC) will affect host relationship with others and chances of good things happening. Skill will be affected by stats but not the other way around, the higher the corresponding stat, the easier using the chosen skill, please note there are skill that are NOT affected by stats. TITTLE is an addition that you will get AFTER being recognize by other, you can only gain TITTLE after a large number of people gave one to you, please note TITTLE do not affect stats or skill but they do give bonuses.
Every level host gain 1 free stat point. host can gain Exp by Manufacturing item, Learning New Lore, Defeating enemies, and Quests.
Manufacturing item. This included crafting, blacksmithing, armorsmithing, alchemy, leatherworks, cooking, harvesting herbs, Gathering materials, building, mining, etc. The more complex the item you are creating or material you're gathering, the larger the exp gained.
Learning New Lore, host needed to go around and see new sights, encounter new things, talk and meet new people, and understanding this world origin will give host exp.
Defeating enemy, any methods to defeat enemy will result with gaining exp. kill them, capture them, persuade them, tamed them, as long host make your enemy submit it will result with host gaining exp.
Quest, will be given randomly defending on the situation, host can choose to accept or refuse the quest, finishing quest will give host exp and reward defending on what the quest is, but be warned not all quests reward are fair.
Skill, you can learn a unlimited number of skill but to learn new skill you need to fulfill the requirement of every skill host wanted to learn, please note that every skill have a different requirement and the requirement may be unknown to a select skill. Learning and mastering a skill will give host exp at the same amount of skill point gain.
'I see, so to summary stats is my raw talent given form of number. Then skill is actually my ability to learn and master a certain aptitude. Oh, and it seems I can just command the screen using my thought, good'
'and I can gain exp by doing something productive.'
'not all quest reward are fair? what does that mean?'
'well, I will know later, if I got a mission'
'Alright, I can work with this' he finalized.
Even though the existence of the blue screen would make everyone apprehensive at first, Allan included, and it's weird that out of all people it's him who got this power, he thought worrying about it was not worth the time and trouble, what's important is he got the power and he need to know how to used it, other matter such as what and why can be dealt with later, after he had enough information and knowledge about this blue screen. and that's how Allan capable of keep calm right now, well that or there's another hidden stats or skill that deal with mental perseverance.
'hm, it seems I have a rather high perception, while an average stats overrall.'
As of right now, while Allan know what every stats meant he didn't feel their immediate effect so he can only speculate the changes that will happen if his stats is changing. For that reason he need to be careful to increase his stats after all he only gain 1 stat point per level.
'For now let see all my skill'

'Let's see, my lowest stat is endurance and charisma and I'm only have 1 free stat point, I think it's fair to increase one of them to balance my stat, but which one?'
'if I choose endurance, assuming from the explanation from earlier I will get more stamina, get healthier and sturdier.'
'But if I choose Charisma, I will be easier to make relationship with other people, not only that but it actually can affect a bunch skill.'
'hm, what to choose'
After a few moments he make a decision.
'I'll choose Endurance for now and see it's effect first and make decision for other stat point later, if I gain them in the future.'
And nope it got nothing to do with his introvert personality, it also not because he thought making friends is troublesome.
