"Do You Have A Death Wish." Such simple words anyone can say. But the deadly aura of the emperor turned the conversation savage. "Huh! Your majesty, what are you saying???.." He froze in fear. "Be mindful of your words. To my child." The Marquess quivering started rambling "It is not like that your majesty. The princess insulted my family first." *swing* This was Sir Gavin Quinn's sword on his neck.
Sir Quinn is the vice-captain of the Dragon Knights order. He refuses to become captain and rather wants to serve his majesty till he dies. His loyalty is unprecedented. He is kind and sweet but known as the Emperor's Mad Dog for the bloodshed he has caused on the battlefield. He has ink-black hair and a white knight's uniform. He is quite handsome with a white complexion and dark eyes but his beauty is hidden under the bright god-tier beauty of my new and abandoned father.
"I wouldn't have cared if you insult the girl. But Why Did You Move Your Filthy Hands!" Although the malice in his last sentence was detectable.
Did he just say I can be insulted? Is that an insult?? My face turned confused, disappointed and angry before it returned to an indifferent expression.
The Marquess was quivering at the unsheathe sword at his neck while the emperor continued. "Don't Tell Me You Were Going To Slap Her?" He refused to acknowledge or take my name. "No..no your majesty…. I wasn't…." "Are You Lying To Me Right Now?" He threatened. The marquess went pale, as if he was going to pass out at any minute. That is if the emperor let him.
The Emperor was going to slash his throat when a man interrupted. "Your Majesty, I think we should continue when her highness leaves. After all she is only 5." It was Kevin. He is the emperor's trusted aide and is far too loyal for his own good. He is 29 yet is unmarried due to serving the crown at even the most odd hours. He has brown hair, pale skin and a stern look accompanied with glasses. He wore noble clothes of his rank. He used to be a duke but his family was overthrown, but thanks to the emperor his life was saved. He now serves him till death and can be trusted.
"Yes, here you go. This is a recording of Sir Blackwood insulting me and my brother." I handed him a blue orb. In this world there are no phones or cameras but instead these magical orbs that change color before, during and after recording. Me and Lyla used this beforehand as evidence in case things got out of hand.
"You prepared this much?" Kevin asked in a puzzled manner. "Of course, I wouldn't have been able to go against the marquess without at least this much evidence. Some people around here don't trust me enough." My words were hinting at the emperor. "Right…I will give this to his majesty." He respectfully said while still in shock.
"Wait." I heard the emperor behind me. "Should you not thank me before leaving?" He arrogantly said.
I turned to him with an indifferent expression and asked. "Should I? I could have handled things without your interference. I had the evidence and my brother had the power. You Were Not Important! Also I am not someone who lets others insult me and not talk back. Next time you think that, please remember this." I talked in an imposing tone making others believe what I say and left with a confident ruler's aura surrounding me.
The servants to the emperors all were baffled at my words.
"HUH!!!"
