The shadow & the body (Part 1)

They trapped us inside Dennis's body alongside with the others. Me and F are the only one's out cause of a deal that Dennis made recently. Aside from that. We have a recent problem. Dennis was still in fusion with us, but we don't know how to get out. Until F threw his lance as if it was a javelin.

"What are you doing? You know better than me that using your weapon won't work."

I said to F. He then looked at me and pointed his weapon at the white sky.

"Quiet, we got out once, we can get out twice!!"

F said. He then stabbed the ground with the tip of his lance.

"You trying to make a rift out of Dennis's mind? That is going to set his personality into crazy overdrive."

I said to F. If he pulls this off; we going to be dealing with Dennis. Worst-case scenario, we end up killing him.

"As if I could care, we already tried to kill each other and we still fine. A simple hole in his mind won't be a problem for him."

F said. He then was backing away slowly. The chances of F success are at 99.9%.

"So, what was the deal you made with Dennis, White."

I said to the person who was using a black cloak standing behind me. They then took off their hoodie and revealed their face. It was a girl that had the face of a 10-year-old, her skin was white as snow and had red eyes and white long hair. Her age is unknown in the archives, but she can oppose us whenever she wants.

And soon after I mentioned her name, F took notice and stopped his actions.

"White? As in The White beast?"

F asked. It seems dat he knows as well about White. As F said, the white beast is a title that requires taming every beast passively. But White, she is the only one that could pull a stunt that requires capturing all of us to just get to Dennis.

"Yes, at least some could catch up. Dennis, didn't realize that it was me at start. So don't tell him."

White said.

"No need, he is going to know once I break out. I just need one more thing…."

F said as he raised his left arm up. Then he built up energy that surging from his body. White was standing behind me since F was going to do something dangerous.

But what worries me was that F's body was releasing black electricity. Dennis can use black magic, but since F is the future version of him. He had more control than Dennis, but he needed to overdo it to create a rift out of this place.

"Black tempest: Lighting surge!!"

F said as yelled out his move. A black sphere covered his left hand that was filled with lighting. He then compressed it into his palm and firmly placed his hand at the ground.

It released black lines that was connecting with his lance. I have a bad feeling of it. So I turned around and grabbed White while I placed a barrier that can absorb lighting.

"X that barrier won't hold my attack, so hold on tight because this will be a rough ride!!"

F said to me. I then realized that the ground was getting covered by a shadow that made me understand what was F doing.

"This is… a surge pool!!!"

I said out loud. I then grabbed White and jumped to avoid F's attack. F had planned to break a hole and patch it once we were out. By the time F made his move. He was standing on top of his lance while maintaining balance.

"Now… Open!! Gate of M!!"

F said. Then F's surge released a light that took the three of us out while not making a hole out of Dennis's mind. F didn't take the others with us since White crystallized them, and he didn't want them to be put in danger. As we were on our way out, we saw another light that will take us somewhere else.

When we got out of Dennis's mind, we got turned into light particles to get out thru his ear. Our light particle body's landed on the ground behind him and we reverted to our own body's.

"Hey! What do you think your doing!?"

F yelled at Dennis. He was holding onto a long sword.

"I was just looking for stuff to use later. We were waiting for X all day"

Dennis said to F. Since they were waiting for me. I grabbed Dennis by the ear and pulled him out of the armory. He seemed to looking for weapons and equipment. But I'm, the only one that can find what he needs fast, but I wanted to know more about the situation. When I opened the door to get out of the armory. I saw Kiwi standing in front of me. Then I moved my head to the sides to look around.

"Sally, I need you over here right now."

I said to Sally. I already knew who she is, and she knows who I am. She then headed over to me and entered the armory.

"I need an explanation of what we are dealing with and how bad is it."

I said to Sally, but she doesn't know how to explain it to me. The only person remaining that can explain was Dennis. He stepped forward and didn't wait to hear out his name.

"We are dealing with a clone. Something copied my looks, powers, and personality. This is still a nightmare shadow. Right now we have it tracked down on an abandoned part of a nearby town, but we have to deal with Rampage and Mecha again. We believe dat they are captured by the ns. And the only way to free them is by taking down who ever turned them into our enemy."

Dennis said to me.

"Okay… That makes sense. We can deal with that tomorrow. Right now, I got to set up the tower to up and running for any kind of emergency."

I said to everyone. Then they all left the armory. But I stopped Dennis for a moment since I need to tell him something.

"Dennis, you need to take your friends back to the castle or head to a hotel."

I said to Dennis.

"A hotel? We can't do that. It will put over a thousand human lives at risk. We will head to the castle and sleep at the ship. I'll so you tomorrow."

Dennis said to me and left the armory. Then I headed out. The moment I was out of the armory, the only ones that stayed were F, Kiwi and White. Kiwi then walked up to me and was handing me a letter.

"What is this?"

I asked. I then looked at the paper and saw that Dennis hired Kiwi to work under me as my assistant.

"From this forward, I promise to help no matter what it takes!"

Kiwi said to me. She was proud to be working under me as my assistant.

"Then as one of the leaders of GDXS, I welcome you to the team."

We then continued with our remaining time on making the tower functional. Kiwi already had activated some of essential stuff to the tower. While I was making sure that the things that we going to need right now are in working. As time passed by, it was already nighttime.

"It is getting late… X, do you mind if I stayed here for tonight?"

Kiwi asked me.

"Sure, you can stay here for tonight. I'll be awake all night, so rest assured."

"Thanks!"

Kiwi said and jumped at me to give me a hug. I then placed her on the couch and brought something for her so that she can sleep. By the time it got to be 4am in the morning. I already had activated everything in the tower. With nothing else to do. I placed myself into rest mode for a few hours. As everything went dark on my eyesight. I was already a sleep.
