Chap 24

-Traka - Traka.

The sound our carriage generated as it moved forward stopped, announcing our arrival at the wall.

I put my hand on Terry's head, pulling it away from the window, and fixed my gaze on the view outside.

Just like in the images of the game, the third wall was a sky blue color, which shone thanks to the rays of sunlight, which was blocked from my point of view due to its height of more than 50m high.

Behind us began a channel - which seemed to be about 30m wide - and passed under the wide walls of the rampart.

-Shaa!

The driver once again lightly tapped his horse, causing it to move forward and consequently us.

-Chiiiir~

The huge gate in front of us rumbled with a creaking sound as the guards slowly opened it - the way they opened it was like the movies, downwards, making the gate itself serve as a bridge - the same guards leaned towards us, as they gave us passage to the other side of the wall.

As before, we passed over a bridge, which crossed the same river as before, which circled the wall.

We continued to advance until we reached land, where we were greeted by beautiful gardens decorated with thousands of trees, shrubs, plants, and more, my eyes were fixed on a sky blue flower, which if I remembered correctly was the same that abounded in the church of Nectar.

"Whaa~ there are thousands of blue iris flowers, you have to see it Tasha." - Terry said towards Tasha as she was intruding on my view of the scenery out the window. - "Mm I'm looking at it, they're almost like Adad's hair don't you think? - Replied Tasha as she looked at me.

"Haha that's true, although I think he is a little more silver," said Everly, who was glued to Tasha's side of the window with a smile, "Although I think Terry's is more like mom's than Adad's. Don't you think?"

The talk of hair colors continued for a little while longer - although this one went in one of my ears and out the other - until Terry gave a high-pitched yelp, as he looked up and pointed straight ahead.

All of us, including me, followed Terry's finger until we could see what she was seeing.

In front of us was a huge and beautiful transparent blue lake that reflected the light of the sun and on which lay an island, which was quite large approximately 200 square meters.

The landscape that it generated gave a sense of fantasy, thanks to the trees and thousands of plants that adorned the island and of course the huge castle that had been built on it.

There was no way to describe it without the word Majestic being exercised in my speech.

The highest part of the island began the foundations of the castle, which was supported by 10 huge pillars of pale blue painted brick that was almost gray and which laid the foundation for the walls which shared the same color of brick.

The pillars rose to the sky for about 10m of course not counting the copula-shaped ceiling which followed the same blue color pattern, which I had seen since we entered the capital.

The first walls measured 10m and had plenty of places to look, such as a corridor at the top that went into the pillars that served as a lookout to spot any enemy.

Behind those first walls, there was a second one that rose even higher, surpassing the previous one by what I thought was 15m more, these still had the same pillars - this time there were only 8 - and the corridor above them, the only difference was the color of the brick, which abandoned the grays and became a neutral blue.

Following the same pattern behind these there was a fourth wall that stood about 7 meters higher than the previous one with 5 pillars and went from neutral blue to a light blue, which glowed with the sky 'the only notable difference was that these walls were smaller in width'.

And finally, behind the fourth wall rose a fifth, which no longer had pillars but slowly began to arch into a pointed dome shape, which was made of crystals and blue and purple bricks.

"It's beautiful, isn't it? - Tasha said as she looked out the carriage window at the castle. - Yes," Everly looked her straight in the eye, "It is."

We left the stone bridge that rose over the lake and took us towards the island and entered the mainland.

Just as we arrived the carriage stopped and through the window, I saw two servants coming towards us, one stopped at Keith's carriage and one at ours.

"Please," said the servant who came toward us and opened the door, motioning for us to follow. - Let me lead you to the banquet."

We followed the instructions of the servant, who took us to Keith and Elena, where he met the other servant, who took us to the castle.

We entered through the huge cave-like door and inside my mind wandered back to the many paintings and pieces of art that were adorning them.

We passed many, forks and bends until we finally arrived at a huge door, which was guarded by two guards in white and light blue uniforms who carried swords and although there was no way of knowing exactly, their aura told me that they were at least A-rank.

"Please, your last name," said one of the gentlemen as he looked in our direction. - We are the Hall house," Keith handed a bracelet to the other gentleman as he answered the first one's question.

-Thud - chiiir~.

With a swoosh and a creaking sound, the huge door was swung open, revealing a huge garden.

"We joyfully announce the arrival of the members of the Hall Duchy!!!!"

Cried a voice as we entered through a path lined with an off-white blue carpet.

The instant we entered and the voice sounded announcing us the voices and merry laughter along with the clinking of glasses ceased altogether.

"Look, it's the four sons of the duchy, aren't they all rather handsome." Said one of the women whispered.

"Yes they are, especially the boy with the platinum blue hair, I've never seen him before, is that Adad?".

"True, but I also think it's the boys' first party. - Hundreds of whispers which were perfectly audible because of the silence that filled the garden reached us - "Please this way," said a servant who led us to our table.

Once seated, I took the opportunity to look around the garden, where many nobles were enjoying the food and desserts laid out on tables all over the place as they chatted and laughed.

Boys, come with me to greet the other nobles," said Keith as he stood up and gave us a follow sign, "How have you been, Duke Hairbear. - Unexpectedly the person we spoke to was Duke Hairbear, who had also approached us.

"I've been fine, Hall," replied the Duke, "It seems you've brought all the children this time. - He shifted his gaze to us as he smiled and pointed to the back. - I've brought mine too."

We exchanged greetings with the Duke's three children, which were two gray-haired women and Nickolas, who kept glaring at me with hatred.

"Ehem~. Hi, my name is Lucia, what's yours? - said one of the girls while holding my hand as a greeting with a blushing face - HAA! why are you talking to that bastard." said Nickolas, who came closer towards us.

I looked for a way to slip away from the stressed Nickolas and approached my father, who was also saying goodbye to Duke Hairbear, who looked just like his son with the only difference being his age.

We continued to move through the tables as we greeted the other nobles, who were approaching us, from earls and marquises to small barons.

"Sigh," with a heavy sigh, I said goodbye to the nobles around us, I had lost count of how many greetings and names I had heard. - It's stressful, isn't it?" - whispered a soft voice beside me.

"It is, but it must be more so for you. isn't it? - I said, as I looked at the beautiful young woman with curly, silky black hair next to me. The woman ran her hand over her ear: - It is, a little, after all, I am the daughter of an earl and above all, beautiful."

I fixed my gaze on Avas, who had that proud, haughty, and vain attitude with which he showed himself in the game. - I heard you talked to our priestess Mellia, I'm sure she had fun talking to someone like you," he said while forcing me to remember Mellia's crazy smile.

"I'm sure she told you what we talked about," I said, as I took a piece of cake that was laid out on the table, I took a puff and felt the cake melt in my mouth, it was tasty. - I heard it, but it's not time to talk about it yet." He replied as he looked at the door at the entrance, which was moving.

-Wah, Wah, Wah, Wahhhhhhhhh ...

An ominous tone generated by a trumpet echoed throughout the garden and spread beyond it, reaching the far end of the castle.

"Show your respects for the King of this country and his family!"

With great emotion and fervor, a voice announced the imposing arrival of the royal family.

Instantly and following the example of the others I approached the table destined for our family.

-Clap! -clap!

Hundreds of applause echoed throughout the garden as we watched the royal family enter and walk with dignity and pride down the red carpet.

"Please give applause for the King of our country, Joud Lazuli!"- said the voice as the man announced as the King walked, he was older, his sky blue hair already lost its radiance but now it was adorned with white lines, which together with his intellectual bearing gave a dignified and powerful aura -.

When the applause ended, once again the voice spoke again - "Resume the applause for the incomparably beautiful Queen, Nelia Lazuli!"- Many applauded, many others tried, but could not as they stared enraptured at the queen, she did not carry a sky blue hair, but beautiful features and eyes the same color as her hair, a beautiful brown that seemed to shine like candy.

"Clap your hands for Princess Local Lazuli!" said the voice, announcing the King's only daughter, Local, who inherited the light blue hair and a beautiful face that together with her exquisite body gave resemblance to the fairies of fairy tales.

"Now I have the honor to introduce the last two members of this beautiful family, the two princes.....

.... Silas luzali!. - The older of the two, who carried an aura of insurmountable pride and who was the most similar to the king of the two, since he had the same color of light blue hair -.

...And finally, the prince, Adu lazuli - With a serene and calm demeanor, the last member of the family passed the huge door, of all was the one that caused the greatest impression on me, not only his beautiful face, if not the aura that emanated, different from that of a warrior but no less powerful, this was the aura of a governor, a real king -.

I followed his steps attentively and slowly moved my gaze, which met the blue eyes of Adu, who smiled slightly in my direction.
