His name is Ashnik, I am in a different world and I feel like my world is falling apart, I want to go back, I would give anything to go back to my old life. I'm now in a world of magic and monsters according to Ashnik, though I am skeptical. How did this happen, what did I do to deserve this, what makes me the person to have to do this, why am I special, or does this happen to everyone when they die.
I just miss my family, the only saving grace in that shit life I had before, I would trade anything to get them back. This world is already scaring me, Ashnik was able to detect me due to magic even though he's not even that skilled in it. I need to become powerful fast, very fast, I need something that will help me make it in this dog-eat-dog world.

The first thing to catch my eye was the ominous feeling I got from the mystery skill. This isn't what I thought it was, this is quantifying my physical and mental energies, how is that even possible. Plus there is a lack of regular skills, like social skills or eating. It's odd, almost like it's pointing me towards fighting and exploration, like it wants me to fight, too...wait, isn't it that in video games the player has to kill people to level up.
My breath hitched, almost stopping completely, t-this system wants me to kill people, it wants me to be a murderer. I fell to my knees, the room around me blurred, the tears started to spill, why do I have to be in this world.

Ashnik was enjoying his homemade meal of shroop stew, thinking about the girl he picked up on the streets a few years ago. He couldn't resist her puppy dog eyes when she begged him for food, so he took it upon himself to adopt her. When she tried to kill him this morning saying she had amnesia, he knew she was hiding something, but he couldn't get it out of her. Ashnik hoped she would come to trust him with this informati-
WHY!!!!!!
The scream cut off his thoughts as he dashed out of his chair hoping nothing had happened. when he got close to her door he suddenly felt tired, as if he was aging as the seconds passed, plants started wrapping around his ankles but he was unstoppable pushing through the slew of plants. Finally, he made it past the door to see the 12-year-old girl that he sees as a daughter being held up by plants, her long hair floating around her slowly growing in length, the density of her mana was visible to the naked eye, although not heavy in amount, her mana made up for it by its extreme density the left him choking. Vines shot out of the wall, too fast for him to respond, and wrapped around his arms and legs, swiftly jerking him in the air, putting him at eye level with the young girl.
Her eyes were dull, having none of the usual light, that was always there even after the amnesia, but the dullness did not take away from the power held in those eyes, the absolute power. She, in this out-of-control moment, could erase him from existence.
Though would she is the question he had, if so then so be it there was nothing left for him in this world anyway, but he does have one regret, not being able to help this young kid.

'What is this,' I asked to no one in particular.
'This is the place in your brain where everything about the system is processed,' said the voice of my system.
'What do you mean processed?' I yelled in frustration.
'All of the possible routes, skills, powers, and talents are held here, in this space of your mind, waiting, no yearning to be discovered,' The voice of my system resounded out once again.
'Why can't I just have these powers, why do I have to discover them?' I questioned, I need to know more.
'Well life is simply not fair, in some cases, it is but in others it is not which just seems to increase the unfairness of it all,' resounded the voice.
'Then why would I be given this power if life is unfair, why would anyone be given the power to completely alter themselves, when there are universal concepts of fair and unfair, specifically unfair, that dictate that life is unfair equally to everyone, but that would be fair, so is life being unfair include the random power gifting to others and random downfalls of those with power?'
'Yes, you are correct, this was just a random chance,' the voice said in a monotonous tone.
