Chapter 4- Dungeons

(Today's question is what is the first game you ever played? For me it was crash bandicoot also do you think I should make the chapters longer or are they fine as they are now? One last thing, are you enjoying this or is it terrible?)

I open my eyes and stare up at a white ceiling. So i'm either in a hospital or a lab and considering I passed out in beacon it's probably both. I look down and see surprisingly nothing stabbed into me although those weird gauntlets and greaves are still on me. I honestly expected to see my chest open with doctors running tests on me. I sigh and get up in a very uncomfortable hospital gown. I look over at a table beside my bed and see my clothes... which are ripped to shreds. 

(y): "For fucks sake"

I see a few notifications pop up and read them.

[You have got the weapon {Beowulf} Warning: you cannot remove this weapon]

[Due to the system taking pity on you, new clothes have been put in your inventory]

Huh neat. I open my inventory and see what the clothes are.

[Dmc 3 Dante's outfit]

[This outfit was worn by the son of sparda before he opened his shop 'devil may cry'. These clothes are said to make you look way more badass then any other set of clothes]

I instantly put it on and look at myself in a conveniently placed mirror.

Ok this is fucking badass. I see another notification pop up and this time it's the rewards from the quest.

-Got weapon {Rebellion}

-one familiar summon ticket

-Got item {Radioactive spider} (You can tell where i'm going with this)

I look confused at the last one and decide to pull it out of my inventory. I pull it out and it starts to crawl over my hand. I don't get the purpose of this. All of a sudden it bites me. 

[-10 hp]

How the fuck did it go through my aura? Either way it attacked me so i'm killing it. I just slap it off my hand. After that I check out everything else. The weapon looks pretty cool so i'm keeping that with me (Sword in pic above). The magic scrolls are very confusing to me. Luckily the system threw me a bone.

[Magic scrolls- These are armed with a magic spell which is quickly executed when mana is infused into it. These can come in multiple different elements. Using these will decrease any respect a mage/wizard/sorcerer etc. has in you. One set of these has three of a random element]

Huh neat. I pull out my summon ticket and it asks me if I want to use it. I say no and put it away for later.

When I put everything away I hear a door open so I look at the door and see Ruby enter. When she sees me her eyes light up and she runs at me.  

R: "Big bro!"

She hugs me really tightly and I swear to god I heard my ribs break.

[-200 aura]

God dammit. I look down at her and ask her how long i've been knocked out for.

R: "Not long but after you passedoutwewerereallyworriedsowedraggedyoubacktobeaconwhereyouwereputinheretohealandwhilethatwashappeningtheteamsgotannouncedandweareonthesameteamactuallyourteamhasfivepeoplewhichisreallyweirdalsowhatwereyoufightingbigbroandwhatwerethoseweirdcirclesyoumadealsoisthatanewweapon?"

She spoke really fast but when you've know her as long as I have you learn to translate it automatically. 

(y): "Well at least I wasn't out for a year. Our team has five people? Don't worry about what I was fighting and yes it is a new weapon. So Who's on our team and who's the leader"

r: "Our team Is called RWBY(Y) and the members are me, you, Yang, that girl who watched me explode and Weiss. I'm the leader"

When I hear the last part I wasn't shocked but I was scared. She is one of the most creative people I know which will end up with her thinking up some crazy plans. Ah well. 

(y): "Well Ruby let's go meet up with our team then"

We start to walk somewhere and I put my points into my stats. I put 10 points into strength and agility while putting 11 into endurance and 4 into wisdom

So 15 in strength and agility, wisdom and endurance

So we are currently outside the dorm room for team RWBY(Y) and on the walk over I realised i'm the only guy on this team... i'm gonna be accused of some horrible shit aren't I. I sigh as we walk  into the dorm. It's just a normal dorm with a desk, a bathroom and... four beds. For fucks sake. Right now it's really plain but to be fair no-one has unpacked yet so that's excusable but back to the bed situation. There's four beds and five of us. I blame the old pedo.

I put my face in my hands and scream. The others look at me weirdly but eventually they'll realise. I walk over to the cat and start to talk to her.

(y): "So what's your name?"

?: "..."

(y): "Understandable have a nice day"

I walk over to Ruby and Yang

(y): "Hey you two"

R/Y: "Hey bro"

(y): "So who's she?"

I point at the cat while asking that.

Y: "Oh that's Blake. She likes reading and... being anti-social"

(y): "Well at the very least that's one person who will shut the fuck up"

I sigh as I see Weiss walk up to me. I can already tell that she is gonna be bitchy. 

W: "What are you doing here?"

(y): "Well good to know you hate me that much also didn't you know i'm part of your team"

W: "WHAT?"

I look at Ruby confused and ask her why she doesn't know.

R: "Well I was just told before I came to check on you"

I stare at her with a blank look before pulling out ivory and shooting myself in the head.

[-1000 aura]

(y): "I forgot aura was a thing"

R: "BRO ARE YOU OK?"

(y): "Yeah i'm fine my aura took the blow"

Y: "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?"

(y): "I'm sick of dealing with this bullshit anyway where am I sleeping?"

W: "Well I think you should sleep outside so you're as far away from me as possible"

(y): "Ok then"

R/Y: "Wait what?"

I go to the window and jump out of it while making a jump pad below me to jump to the roof. 

[-150 mp]

I land on the roof and lay down while staring at the moon. I hear Ruby and Yang calling for me but I just keep staring at the moon while thinking about my situation.

(y): 'So this is my new home. Funny how someone already hates me. Reminds me of home but I suppose that I need to move on... even if I won't live for long in this world' 

I cough up some blood after I think that. I close my eyes and try to sleep but then of course a notification pops up. I open my eyes and read what it says.

[While you sleep would you like to enter a world dungeon]

Oh right. That exists. A world dungeon is essentially where I go into worlds where the gamer ability doesn't fit like slice of life things or action where the action is actually realistic. Things like that. I was told that an hour in there is about ten minutes out here. I mentally say sure after all I wouldn't be there for long.

Huh neat.

I blink and all of a sudden i'm in the body of a ten year old... holy shit. I'm adorable. I go downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen. I would make a joke here but I don't want to be murdered by feminists. I exit my house without saying anything to my mom or her trying to stop me... what a great parent. I'm hit with a rush of memories and essentially it's the same as any other Pokemon game and i'm friends with Red... What else do you want me to say? It's fucking Pokemon. 

I walk outside to see Red walking out of his house so I run up to him.

(y): "Hi Red"

R: "..."

(y): "It is a nice day isn't it"

R: "..."

(y): "Yeah you're right let's go get our Pokemon"

We walk to professor Oak's lab and walk inside to see Blue standing there looking like a prick. I'm not dealing with him today so I walk outside and go to leave Pallet town. I was gonna leave but someone yelled at me to stop before I took a step into the grass. 

I turn around and see professor oak. 

(y): "Oh hi"

O: "Don't you know how dangerous it is out there?"

(y): "Honestly now you've just made me curious about how many deaths happen because of Pokemon"

O: "If you want to go out there you need a Pokemon. So follow me and we'll get you a Pokemon"

(y): "Well i'm following and old man who says he'll get me a pet with super powers... this is fine"

I follow him into his lab and meet up with Red and Blue. 

(y): "So have you just been hanging out with Blue then"

R: "..."

(y): "Wait he really said that?"

R: "..."

(y): "That's fucked up man"

O: "Alright now that everyone's here I can tell you what you're here for. Today you're here to pick a Pokemon and go out on you're own adventure. Red why don't you go first"

B: "WHAT?"

O: "SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU LITTLE SHIT"

He actually shut up after that... good to know this is a more realistic version of Pokemon. 

Red picks Squirtle. So I pick the obvious choice. I chose Charmander and obviously Blue took Bulbasaur. 

[You have gotten the Pokemon {Female Charmander}]

[Pokemon/PC slot has been added into menu]

[only six Pokemon can be held at a time]

Red goes to leave but Blue challenges him to a battle. I sit down and watch it go down. He kicks Blues ass and Oak heals up his Pokemon. 

I don't even bother challenging him and leave. I see that the sun is setting so I need to get to the next town quick. I go to the grass and finally leave this town which I have been stuck in for TEN FUCKING YEARS. Seriously think about it. Nobody's allowed to leave here so unless you get a Pokemon early you'll be stuck there for at the very least ten years. It's stupid.

I take one step into the grass and get attacked by a Rattata. I take it out with a few scratches and it's defeated relatively quickly. 

[Charmander has gotten 24 experience points]

Huh neat. I walk into the next patch of grass and guess what a fucking pidgey comes out of nowhere. I defeat it with the same move and once again it's beaten quickly.

[Charmander has gotten 34 experience points]

[Charmander has levelled up]

On the way to the town I fought two Pidgey's and a Rattata. During that Charmander levelled up again and learned a new move

When I got to the town Charmander was pretty beat up.

(y): "Hey you okay there buddy"

C: "Char"

I took Charmander into a Pokemon centre and got her healed up. After that though I took her out of her Pokeball. 

(y): "C'mon let's go get some Pokeball"

C: "CHAR"

I pat her on the head and go into the pokemart. I buy five Pokeballs and go to leave but i'm stopped by the clerk. 

RC (Random clerk): "Hey you're from Pallet town right? Can you take this to professor Oak"

He passes me a parcel and I nod at him. I was about to walk out but time froze around everything but me and Charmander. I see a notification pop up and I read it quickly.

[You are being woken up. Time will be frozen in the dungeon until you come back in. Anything you got in the dungeon will come out of it with you]

C: "Char?"

I look at her surprised.

(y): "Wait you can see this?"

C: "Char"

(y): "Well at least i'm not completely alone in this"

Charmander walks up to me and hugs my leg. Oh my god that was the cutest thing i've ever seen. I smile at her and pat her on the head. 

I blink and i'm back on the roof with Charmander sitting on my chest. I look around and see Glynda glaring at me.

G: "Would you like to explain what you're doing up here?"

(y): "One of my teammates hate me and i'm so insecure that I would constantly break down in front of them if I didn't come here to sleep"

She glares at me and asks for the real reason i'm up here while hitting me with her riding crop. I tell her it was for a joke instead. She finally snaps at me after dealing with my stupidity.

G: "ARE YOU STUPID? WHY WOULD YOU COME UP HERE FOR A JOKE?  IF YOU'RE NOT GONE WHEN I COME BACK I'M THROWING YOU OFF THIS ROOF MYSELF AND GET RID OF THAT THING"

She walks off and I stare at the floor before tears come out of my eyes. 

(y): "Charmander why does everyone hate me? Do I deserve this?"

I cry harder as Charmader comes of my chest and sits down next to me.

C: "Char?"

(y): "I don't know if i'm ok anymore. I really don't know"

I pull Charmander into a hug and cry myself to sleep without entering a dungeon. I feel my memories of my past life surface as I hold Charmander tighter and cry even harder. I hear a notification pop up but I just ignore it.

Charmander POV

My trainer was crying as he hugged me. That means he's sad. Why is he sad? Did someone hurt him but he's so nice. Who would hurt him? I don't care i'll keep him safe and fight anyone who tries to hurt him. I go to sleep while hugging him back. He actually let's me out of my Pokeball and cares about me... I love my trainer. Why do I feel weird?

Glynda POV

I walk back up to the roof to see him still there sleeping while hugging that creature. I was about to yell at him but then I saw his face... he's crying. Well I suppose nothing bad will happen if he stays here for tonight. I will be talking to him tomorrow though.

No POV

stops any mind control and keeps player calm all the time but can be deactivated if not wanted bit it also deactivates if he activates a skill that has to do with emotion

gamers body:

The players body won't perish until you're hp hits zero however the player can still feel pain, have limbs torn off, bones can still be broken and player can obviously still be paralysed. Food and drink will heal the player and sleeping in a bed will also completely heal hp and mp

Shadow clone-lvl 2/10

One shadow clone takes 95 mana to make and one hit break. As it levels up the clones will become more durable and take less mana. When maxed out the clones will send any exp from killed enemies to the player until then only memories are shared.

Bitch slap- lvl 1/50

This move is one of the most used throughout the whole multiverse. The user backhand slaps someone which can either make them shut up or knock them out. However if used on an enemy it does 20% more damage on an enemy however it can only be used once per enemy.

mana infusion- lvl 3/20

You infuse mana into anything that works. Be it weapons, armour or yourself. It gives a 30% boost to any damage caused by weapons or yourself and boosts defence by 30%

mana step/jump pad- lvl 3/10

The user creates a magic circle which can either act as a step which stops any fall damage or a jump pad which can make the user launch in a certain direction. This can double as a shield or a shield where you push the enemy of you in the direction that the shield was made. As it levels up another magic circle can be created around the first to reinforce the step or boost how far the jump pad launches you

scratch- Does 40% of what the players max damage (so 120 damage)

growl- gets rid of a quarter of the enemy's defence but can only be used once

ember- causes burn on enemy (-10 hp every minute) and does the same amount of damage as scratch (so 120 damage). Double damage on any grass/bug enemies
