Chapter 53 - Second Layer!

Kyle has finally broken through to be a force to be reckoned with in the world of adventurers. With this power, he could easily live a carefree life as a guard captain or even a general in some small country. He would not know any poverty and would be one of the richest and most respected people in the country.

He could also go another direction and establish a guild similar to White Wolf guild and build it from the ground up, finally making it at least a tier 10 guild. This was a great goal that many minors had in the world of Game.

Kyle thought about these possibilities and after smiling to himself, laughed out, "If only I had such limited goals. The only path for me is to become the most powerful person in the universe. I will dine and share a drink with the gods !" Kyle laughed out and went back into the meditative position.

After 10 hours of meditation, Kyle woke up. He now was adjusted to the new level, and his power finally seemed to be fully in control. He was ready to start contemplating on the spirit force.

'For now, I will need to focus on that, but considering that I know absolutely nothing about it, maybe I can browse the Domination Technique to find some clues regarding this. I should be able to advance quite a bit in it.' Kyle adjusted his breathing and remembered that he was given a year of time, and considering that he didn't have anywhere to be in the Game world, he could use that time to train.

Kyle appeared concentrated and willed his consciousness to flow into the pearl. In the white space, everything was the same as always, with the book floating in the middle of nowhere.

Kyle got to the book and flipped easily to the last page that was available to him First layer, Lighting Step. Everything past that was completely blocked, and Kyle couldn't turn the page. Considering how he opened the book before, he knew that he had to display the full power of the lighting step to open the book.

Kyle moved back from the book and utilised the Lighting step straight at the book with the resounding wind. The lightning energy, as if a dragon released and flowed from Kyle's feet straight at the book. The book shook, and after a strange hiss, the page flipped and turned.

There on the next page was the introduction of the second layer.

Kyle had no other way to carry on in this life, so he flipped the page. Becoming a Titan didn't seem to be too bad of a decision anyways.

Suddenly, from the book, something has flown into Kyle's body. It was not painful, not that Kyle could feel anything. What more, is that Kyle didn't notice that black thing flowing into his body.

Kyle was too excited with what he saw on the next page of the book.

There were words that really lifted Kyle's mind.

Kyle couldn't wait and started reading, Kyle was eagerly consuming more and more information from the book, and as he finished, Kyle was smiling with all teeth. Kyle had never thought that qi could be rotated in specific patterns outside of his body in order to absorb more and to get more purer qi. The second layer of cultivation technique focused on improving rate of cultivation, and it said that it was at least 10 times as fast as the first layer. This was unbelievable for Kyle.

Considering how fast he already has been cultivation, going at 10x speed meant that he would reach level 10 in no time!

Kyle eagerly tried to execute as the book said and rotate the qi outside of his body, in the air.

After 30 minutes of trying, the smile on Kyle's face totally disappeared. He didn't manage to even feel the qi outside of his body, not even talking about influencing it.

Kyle clicked his teeth and carried on.

Like this 2 months have passed and the rumours of a huge explosion resounding in the Lighting Forest spread to everyone in the Rivendale Country, the whole White Wolf Guild also heard.

This news were shocking for the guild leader, Thaola was getting a report together with the captains of the guild about restructuring and improving the layout of the village that was connecting Rivendale and Yourshine Kingdoms.

"… And this is how we are planning to limit the damage that the goblins from the south can do with their night raids. What do you think Guild leader?" One of the captains finished his report and looked at the guild leader, that was absentmindedly looking into the window.

After at least a good minute with no reply, captain repeated, "So what do you think Guild Leader?" After the second time, Thaola finally heard the address and staggered.

"Yeah sure, do that." She noted her head and went straight away outside, without waiting for other reports to finish.

Thaola walked outside and started walking towards one of the watchtowers that was on the outskirts of the new walls. 'I can't believe that something so horrible could happen at lighting forest. I wouldn't care if it wasn't so close to us and…' she paused her line of thought for a second, she bit her lip, 'If I didn't advise Mister Kyle that it was the best place to find the lighting elements.'

'He hasn't been back for other 6 months now, and I am starting to worry. White Wolf guild can not loose out protector at the time like this. We are only getting situated. Plus…' Again she paused, 'I didn't thank him properly yet.'

The stunning beauty climbed to the top of the watchtower. She uncovered her pretty elven face, together with ears from the hood that was covering her.

The soldier that was standing guard saw who was on his watchpoint and shot straight up from his lazy position.
