34. The Calm Before The Storm

Let us all take a look at a different way to Arthur's Journey.

In his everyday routine.

At the start of the day. Arthur goes to the save [Looting Money Like A Slave].

Then Arthur raids every room in the underground home he found. Unlike the first time though, it was more thourough and he didn't act like he was on drugs nor a dolphine so he could acquire more items than he previously did.

Arthur has spent his life like a robot. Unlike a constant clicking robit, it was more of macro hack with his entire body moving at the exact same pixel as time passed by more and more.

As one man tells in his book, it takes 10000 hours to master anything. And Arthur has done this for more than that, and finally after such a long time, Arthur was reminded of his once amazing achievement.

After multiple thousands of hours later, Arthur began to selling everything to the market. Which was quite a fun time for him.

As Arthur was able to sell everything in his inventory, he went through multiple resets just because of a single thing.

On the first set, Arthur didn't sell his items in shops, instead he placed all his items in the middle on the ground as it piled higher than the houses in the kingdom. Then sold it there.

With it's towering hieght that led it to be even visible at the edges of the kingdom, Arthur's technical shop was selling really well.

But before he could even half the pile, multiple hours and a really long line of goblins later, there was no more consumers. No more goblin was buying from him.

And the reason was simple... he quite literally just bankrupt everyone to a point they couldn't buy anymore.

So then Arthur went through 6 different more reset after the first one.

And in the end, Arthur was able to amass so much riches yet it still seemed pointless as the shop was way too brutal.

With that, Arthur's shopping spree of only a couple minutes has ran dry his hard work of collecting money for thousands of hours.

Truly the gift of a gacha system.

The shop showed multiple interesting items that was far from Arthur's budget. But still Arthur checked on it's description and at the moment he couldn't really feel anything as he was way too tired and it just wasn't the right moment.

After buying everything he could, Arthur went to rest for a while.

Then he headed back to the 9th King.

Inside the throne room placed at the top of the castle.

The goblin who reported that the 9th King died, died himself.

Then another goblin entered the room.

"It was the same person my liege."

The goblin once again died. After a couple of seconds a new goblin with a much more proper attire came in

He then kneeled andlayed his head low.

"Didn't Kurata send Marhatu?" Exclaimed by the goblin calmly.

"No one new where the 9th King was at."

"Why didn't you ask Hiral."

"Even Hiral didn't know."

The goblin flinched and his posture was disturbed. He didn't like it, but the news just isn't that simple anymore.

"So Hiral has betreyed us too."

"No my liege."

"Then who!" The goblin threw all his composure and yelled.

"The Cult has started to move ever since the queen betrayed."

"I know that... but you're telling me the Cult is the cause of these two incidents..." The goblin smiled.

"Yes my liege."

"Gather the rest of the kings now. As fast as possible. Gather them all today."

"Yes my liege." The goblin left the room.

"The betreyal of the queen, the death of the 9th king. Brother, you are truly something. What elese do you have install for me."

The goblin looked out of the window and stared at the kingdom below him.

"Oh my child..." He touched the window and carrased it downwards and slowly..."Is it already time..." He looked up and opened his mouth. "For me to die..."

He placed his head to the window and rested it. "Oh my beautiful child... I have raised you for a thousand years, is it truly time... oh... my sins... have mercy on me..."

The goblin layed on the ground. "Am I too old for this now... I guess I am... I have failed you... my daughter... it is time for someone else to raise you... it is time for me to go..."
