Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. The Living and The Dead II

(Rhaegon's POV)

"Do you seriously think we'll believe anything that he says?" Bronn said as he looked at me, "I mean seriously? A Dragon God? What kind of shit is this?"

"You heard the voice coming from Morghul." I said with a frown, "You think it won't be possible that it's the truth?"

"A being created to defy the old gods...." Tyrion said, "Simply fascinating don't you think?"

"Yea." I said

"What do we do?" Sandor said, "We can't just report some stuff like this, do you think Tywin will accept it?"

"Fuck what he thinks. This is something the King needs to hear." I said, "Tywin cares not for what magic and religion offers. He only cares about armies and soldiers, what the Blackfyre Pretender has."

"Which proves my point." He said, "The Dwarf has only told us about this dragon god maniac, but nothing about the Pretender."

"I can hear you guys." Beak said

"Shut up." Sandor spat at him, "Don't utter another word."

I sighed, "Look...." I said, "I know you lot don't believe whatever he says but I've been seeing stuff and even experienced things that defy all logic and can be explained as magic. This Dragon God....he's real."

"You believe?" Tyrion said, "Never expected Rhaegon of all people to believe."

I gestured at Morghul, "There's a Dragon before you, Tyrion." I told him, "Fire-breathing creatures that are bound to my family through blood. I was a bit skeptical at first, but if these exist, why wouldn't I believe anything else?"

"Ah....." Tyrion said, "There are always logical explanations for things."

"It doesn't matter." I said, "Magic exists. The only reason we may not have believed it in it is because it was quite scarce as of late. The return of the dragons, the bleeding comet, everything that comes after.....it's pretty much magic.....most of it.....the gods...I never really believed in others....and my Faith has always been pretty low...but...I guess what Beak is saying could be true."

"It just doesn't make any sense!" He said as he glanced at Beak, who was sitting on the ground, looking at Morghul, "Why would a zealot group be controlling a Blackfyre to invade Westeros? What are they planning? And why is a Dragon God even interested in coming here in the first place."

"The Long Night." I said as I sighed, "The threat in the North. That's what they're after. The Dark Order wants to invade Westeros and set the entire continent ablaze to kill the threat in the North, saving the world in the process, apparently. Cutting off the rest of the Known World from Westeros while it burns, burning the demons and the dead with it...."

"How would you know that?" Sandor asked

I sighed, "I was told that by a power in the North." I said, "You wouldn't believe me."

"Humor us." Bronn said, "I mean.....you're right, we're standing in front of a fucking dragon. Anything is possible."

"Brynden Rivers." I said as I looked at them, "Bloodraven."

Tyrion widened his eyes momentarily and looked up at the other two, "I'm sorry, did you say Bloodraven?" He said, "As in the Bloodraven? The most dangerous man in the world at some point in history? The former Hand of The King that served Aerys I Targaryen? That Bloodraven?"

Bronn blinked, "I'm lost. Who?"

"A Targaryen bastard, son of King Aegon IV." Sandor said, "He fought in the Blackfyre Rebellion. He was Hand of the King."

"Yea, I could be wrong, but that was a super fucking long time ago." Bronn said, "Your father, Tyrion, and grandfather, Rhaegon, were not even in their fathers' ballsacks...or them in theirs.....well, respectfully."

"He's still alive." I said simply

"How?" Tyrion asked bewildered

"Magic." I said

"W-What?" He said

"Excuse me." Beak chimed in, "Did you say Bloodraven?"

I looked at him, "Let me guess, you know about him." I said

"I-I might've overheard them say something about him." He said nervously, "How Zaldrizes Jaes is influencing his sight.....or something similar."

"What?" I said with a frown

"I don't understand it." He said

"Brynden Rivers is a Greenseer, he's the Three-Eyed Raven." I said, "He has greensight, which allows him to see nearly everything in the Realm, so long as its through a Weirwood Tree. Not only that, he's a Warg, which allows him to connect to any animal's mind and see things through them."

"Fucking hells....magic...." Bronn scoffed

"Y-Yes." Beak said, "Apparently the dragon god can counteract that...."

"How?" I asked

"I don't know." Beak said, "I just know that the Priestesses say that..."

Bloodraven did tell me that the dragon god has been constantly fighting against his own influence and despite that, Brynden was able to manipulate events in the Realm. He's the reason that I am in the position I am in; having the Sand Snakes as my women and being married to Myrcella. For what reason?

But there's also something that he told me that always bothered me; the Dragon God is the reason I exist. I was not supposed to be born. My Mother and Father were not supposed to be married at all, not according to Bloodraven's manipulative plans.....it was Uncle and Mother who were supposed to be married and bear another child....

Rhaegon Targaryen.

The Prince Who Was Promised.

If Zaldrizes Jaes can influence even someone as powerful as Bloodraven, what does this mean for us? For me?

For what reason was I born? What is my purpose exactly?

Morghul was born on the same day I was. What is his purpose? He was the only egg that didn't hatch at Summerhall. Why?

None of this makes sense. I need answers. I need them now!

"Fucking hells..." I muttered, "This opens more questions than I had before...."

Beak shrugged nervously, "I know...." He said, "But that's all I know....I am sorry....please don't kill me?"

I sighed and turned around, "Whatever. My warning still stands." I said, "Tyrion, you're in charge of him. Bronn, you have your orders."

"Where are you going?" Tyrion asked

"I'm going to King's Landing." I said as I walked over to Morghul, "I have to speak to the King."

"He needs to know."

(Third Person POV)

[Essos]

"The Dothraki are readied, Valerion." Syras said as she sat down in a chair, flipping a dagger into the air, "What are we waiting for?"

Valerion was standing in the middle of the room, "For the appropriate time." He said with a serious look on his face, "The Iron Fleet and the Black Fleet must be aligned perfectly. The Golden Company must be mobilized fully."

"We can do that while the Dothraki Horde is unleashed onto Dorne." Syras said, "I will aid the Khal in burning those stupid Dornish to the ground. It will buy you time to move the Fleets around Westeros."

"No." Valerion said, "It must be perfect!"

Syras sighed, "If you say so."

Vaemon, who was sitting on a couch, chuckled, "Of course." He said, "All must go well. It has to. Otherwise, it's for naught. It's a systematic approach. First, we attack Dorne, drawing Rhaegon Baratheon from his home. With luck, we get Viserys Targaryen as well."

"Yea?" Syras said, "And what?"

"Rhaegar and Shaena Targaryen are the other dragonriders who must be accounted for." Vaemon chuckled, "Our plan will go well. Rhaegar will be drawn North and Shaena will be lured to King's Landing. The Princess in the North will stay there as well."

Syras boringly looked at him, "And all that will happen?"

Vaemon smiled, "It will." He said, "After all, it's our brother's plan."

"Our incense will work on the dragons." Valerion said as he had his hands behind his back, "Shaena will be lured to King's Landing to defend it. All of the Royal Family will be taken to the city in a tight defensive maneuver. Why not Dragonstone? Well, not to repeat the tragedy from all those years ago."

"How can we be sure that the King will leave the Capital?" Syras asked

"Sister." Vaemon smiled, "Have you not paid attention to our lessons? Rhaegar will not ignore a plea from his dear fried, Lord Stark. And neither will Robert Baratheon. When chaos is let loose in Dorne, everything will be attacked! And decisions will have to be made! Everything will go as planned! Trust Valerion!"

Valerion turned around and walked over to Syras who boringly looked at him, "My beloved sister..." He said as he reached for her cheek, "Do you not trust my instinct?"

Syras stopped flipping her dagger, "Don't touch me." She said seriously, "I'll only trust you because Father does."

"You and I...." Valerion said softly, "We'll be wed when this is over, I promise you. You will be my Queen.....and together, our blood will be the beginning of a new era."

"An unfaithful fucker like you will not share my bed. Not anymore." Syras slapped his hand out of the way and stood up, walking past him, "I don't care, not even if Father orders it."

She walked out of the room angrily.

Vaemon chuckled, "She's still mad."

Valerion sighed, "Brother, are women like this?" He asked

"Yes. Especially those that are in love." Vaemon said, "I've seen her take her frustration on pirates. It's like she visualizes you as the enemy."

"It was...." Valerion said, "A misunderstanding."

"Whatever it was, she's pissed off." Vaemon said with a chuckle, "Nevertheless, I heard from Liun.....Meleys is to meet with Father when he reawakens."

"I see." Valerion said, "Do not tell Syras."

"I wasn't planning on it." Vaemon said, "This means she won't be by Daegon's side when the invasion happens."

"Father's orders are absolute. If he requires her by his side, so be it." Valerion walked over to a table that had a dragon's egg on it, "I am not bothered one bit. He has given me a responsibility only I can do."

"I won't lie. Your tactical approach is better than Vaegon's." Vaemon said, "But as impulsive as he was, he was not stupid. He must've done something in Westeros that played in our favor....or Father's at least."

"And that would be?" Valerion asked

"I don't know. He was never willing to speak his plans to me." He said

"Speaking of brothers." Valerion cleared his throat, "Have you heard from him?"

Vaemon shook his head, "No. You?"

"He is awaiting the right moment." Valerion said as he grabbed the egg, "His singers are on the ready."

"Good." Vaemon said, "When it begins.....Father will reawaken. It is something that I have been looking forward to....He hasn't done this since before we were born....the rest of the time was just him taking a breather from his slumbers...but this? He will be at his peak again.....since the last time he fought against the Lion of The Night...."

"I am aware." Valerion said, "You and him.....tell me the same thing...."

"Ha!" Vaemon laughed, "Oh well....so....what is it you're truly waiting for? Aside from perfectly aligning our forces..."

"Rhaegon Baratheon and Myrcella Targaryen are married." Valerion said seriously, "I want that princess to be with child. With a kid on the line...."

"It might be easier to take him down."
