Game of Thrones-The Black Lord

(Sequel To “For The Queen, Not The Prince”) It all started in Summerhall. Aegon The Unlikely’s attempt at resurrecting the Dragons was successful but at the cost of his life. The fire was able to be put out, not before it took Aegon V's life as well as his son, Ser Duncan The Tall, and a few rooms. Ever since then, the events that decide the fate of Westeros had vastly changed. Dragons had returned; it was said that during the night of the fire, a bright crimson comet was seen in the night sky. During the end of King Aerys’s reign, a Rebellion started. But it wasn’t started by Robert Baratheon due to Rhaegar’s actions. Robert instead fought for the Targaryens and was married to a Princess which resulted with them having a son, Rhaegon. Rhaegon Baratheon is the rider of Morghul, a massive Black Dragon that Hatched at the end of the Rebellion started by the River Dragon. He was not just named after the Dragon that was bound to Aegon III's first wife and cousin, Jaehera but because of Rhaegon's unique sense of humor as he inherited his mother's spirit. Celebration

(Third Person POV)

[Some Time Later....]

After Shaena Targaryen gave birth to Robert Baratheon's second son, King Rhaegar announced Princess Myrcella and Prince Rhaegon's wedding to take place in the Capital. Due to the incident at Summerhall, it was deemed unsafe and after careful consideration, all Dragons should converge at King's Landing during the Wedding.

Shaena named her second son Steffon, after Robert's father. While Rhaegon was happy that he had a younger brother, he was still in a very serious mood. He was under so much stress; he had undertaken several patrols to search for his Uncle, Stannis Baratheon ever since the Battle of Summerhall, but there was no luck in that matter. There was no sign of Stannis nor any members of the Red Cult.

Tywin Lannister had declared Stannis an enemy of the court and anyone who collaborated with him should be branded traitors. He did this in the name of the King who was skeptical about the entire ordeal. And while he was his friend's brother, Rhaegar knew that there was nothing else he could do for Stannis. He was sure that even Rhaegon knew what had to be done, there was no way around it.

On the day of the wedding, House Stark's members had arrived in the Capital, taking a ship from Whiteharbour. Princess Daenerys had flown in with her dragon and for the first time in years, she was back in King's Landing. She was already married to Robb Stark and it was rumored she was with child, which Rhaegar was happy about. Prince Viserys had flown in from Dragonstone, followed by his wife and daughter who had sailed in shortly after. The Prince, despite his attitude, was not going to miss out on his niece's wedding, whom he loved very much.

The Wedding was a special one; it was Ser Rhaegon's. Many houses of the Realm looked up to the young knight, being one of the finest warriors in the Seven Kingdoms, next to the three legendary Kingsguard; Arthur Dayne, Barristan Selmy, and Jaime Lannister. While people loved Princess Myrcella, it was Rhaegon's name that brought in the nobles.

There were whispers and rumors about the arrangement he had with Dorne, his three paramours and all. While Oberyn Martell attended the wedding, it was suggested that the Sand Snakes should not be present. According to Tywin Lannister, it would be an insult to the Crown. This, of course, created tension in which the lords and ladies did nothing but gossip about it.

Despite this, there was nothing but positivity and support from all the lords of the realm, even from Oberyn Martell himself. And while Rhaegon was a bit nervous and serious, the sight of Myrcella's smile was enough to put him at ease.

King Rhaegar wanted this to be a traditional Valyrian wedding but decided against it due to the fact that it did not take place at Summerhall, the original location intended. While this upset him somewhat, he was in a good mood and excited that his eldest daughter was to be wed.

The one who was the most happy was Myrcella.

At this day, she had married the man she loved her entire life.

***********

(Rhaegon's POV)

"Congratulations, Nephew." Uncle Viserys said as he approached the table, "Finally, you are married."

Myrcella and I were sitting at the head table that was in the Secret Gardens, the celebration after the ceremony. We were finally married, after months of waiting. I was glad Mother was able to give birth without issues and now that I had a younger brother, I was very nervous about getting married. Especially with this entire conflict going on that suddenly got quiet.

Here we were, after the Wedding Ceremoy, with a massive feast set up for the newly-weds and the guests. There was nothing but loud music and joyous laughter. Truthfully, I wanted the traditional Valyrian wedding where it would just be us and a couple of other spectators. But the King's intended plan was disrupted which has left him incredibly upset. This was what Tywin wanted, being your regular Ol' Westerosi Lord. His granddaughter getting married in a traditional wedding they were used to. I cannot complain, I have finally got this over with and Myrcella is happy. That's all that matters.

But now, Uncle was uncharacteristically being nice. Typically, he's a prick but he's here, with an off-putting smile.

I nodded, "Thank you, Uncle." I said, "I am glad you are here."

He smiled, "Unlike you, I don't miss out on weddings." He said

I rolled my eyes, "And there it is."

Myrcella chuckled, "Thank you for being here, Uncle." She said softly

"Ah, and you." Viserys said as she stepped closer to her, "You are beautiful, my beloved Niece. Wearing that Golden Dress of yours. Do you know what that tells me? Well, aside from the fact that you are your mother's daughter.....you know, Lannister..."

He whispered the last part.

Myrcella smiled, "Yes?"

He leaned in closer, "It is a sign." He said softly, "You will claim your own dragon, my dear Myrcella. And I believe it will be the one with the golden scales, like your Father claimed the Silver one."

Myrcella's face softened, "O-Oh...." She said

Viserys pulled away, "I have faith, my dear." He said, "I have it. Don't you, Rhaegon?"

I nodded, "I do." I said while giving her a smile, "One day."

Myrcella grabbed my hand, "Thank you." She said softly

Viserys looked to the side and then glanced at me, "Oh." She said, "Here comes your aunt, good fortune to you, Nephew."

He then scurried away like a mischievous child.

I then saw Aunt Dany and her husband Robb walk up to us.

"Nephew." She said with a raised eyebrow, "Beloved Niece."

"Hello, Aunt." Myrcella said, "I am glad you are here."

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world." She said, "Unlike some people....."

"D-Daenerys..." Robb cleared her throat

I rubbed my neck, "A-About that...." I said, "My apologies, Aunt, I...."

"No worries, I heard." She said with a chuckle, "Tell me, I know this is not appropriate but where are these girls that kept you away from attending your own wedding?"

"Yea, let's not mention that." I said while looking away

"T-They weren't allowed...." Myrcella whispered, "Which is foolish, I wanted them here."

"I wanted to meet them." Aunt said, "But oh well, my beloved Niece, I am glad you got the man you wanted."

"Congratulations, Ser Rhaegon." Robb said, "Jon sends his regards."

I looked at him, "How is he, by the way?" I said, "I haven't written to him."

"Well, they've dealt with the Wildling problem." He said, "Mance Rayder is no longer a threat considering he was put down during a vicious battle."

"Oh." I said with surprise, "Jon did?"

"So they say." Robb said

"Robb, Rhaegon." Aunt said, "This is not the time to discuss violence or death. Not in front of my niece."

"Right, sorry." Robb said

I leaned back, "Huh." I said, "I wonder...."

Myrcella looked at me, "Hm?"

"Nothing...." I said as I looked at the table, "Nothing....."

"Well, if you excuse us." Robb said, "I leave you two to it."

"Tell Lord Stark I wish to speak to him later." I said

"R-Right." Robb said

"Let's go." Dany told him

I felt Myrcella's gaze, "What are you thinking?"

"Not much." I said, "Just the North, I guess."

"Today, of all days?" She asked, "You can put those thoughts away for one day, Rhaegon. You stress too much."

"I don't stress enough." I said as I grabbed a cup of wine, "Conflicts. Man, they're too much."

She placed her hand on my lap, "Relax." She said with a soothing tone, "We have so much time ahead of us, right?"

"The two of us..."
