Game Of Thrones: Another Dragons

Once upon a time, there was a guy named Jay, just your average college student leading a pretty ordinary life. But one weekend, he decided to watch the last episode of the Game of Thrones series. Now, Jay had mixed feelings about the ending. He wasn't thrilled with it, no matter which way you looked at it. If Daenerys survived, well, she went on a crazy killing spree due to her extreme emotional issues. That wasn't exactly a happy ending. And if she was dead for good, why did Jon have to go into exile? Jay thought Jon could've made a great king with Bran's guidance, the guy they call "the Broken." For Jay, there were just too many unnecessary deaths that messed with the emotions of fans, from the beginning to the very end. But, with a not-so-happy heart, Jay decided to call it a night. After all, he had to wake up early for class the next day. Little did he know that this would be his last night as a human. When he woke up, he had become something else entirely—a monster.

Chapter 88

The following morning in King's Landing, Aegon received a message from the Wall, dispatched by Maester Aemon. Surprise and disappointment filled him as he learned of the continued existence of the White Walkers, a threat that had endured for millennia. Aegon had always yearned to fight alongside Bahamut, envisioning himself as a grown warrior and powerful sorcerer. Yet, Bahamut's protective nature had kept them sheltered.

This time, Aegon wanted things to be different. He desired to prove his worth to Bahamut and contribute to the impending war against the White Walkers. Determined to head north and assist Bahamut, he planned to leave his sister, who was expecting a child, in the safety of King's Landing. Aegon gathered his men to discuss these matters in the throne room.

Upon learning of Aegon's decision to head north without informing her, Rhaenys was filled with anger. Alongside her husband and Daenerys, she marched towards the small council room, where Aegon was engaged in discussions related to the Wall with members such as Stannis Baratheon, Varys, the Old General, the Crimson General, and Mace Tyrell.

Entering the council room, Rhaenys wore her anger visibly, and the guards present didn't dare to impede her progress. Witnessing her furious entrance, both the Old General and the Crimson General decided to leave the council, followed by the rest of the members.

Aegon sensed the tension escalating in the council room, feeling a growing headache as Rhaenys entered with evident anger. Daenerys, concerned about the situation, stepped forward to mediate and address Rhaenys.

Daenerys stepped forward, her voice soft, attempting to bring a sense of calm to the tense room. "Rhaenys, please, let's discuss this calmly. Aegon has his reasons."

Rhaenys, fueled by frustration, responded furiously, "Calmly, Daenerys? He's planning to march north without even informing us. Even Pop hates this side of this brat."

Aegon sighed, feeling a mix of frustration and understanding. "Rhaenys, it's not about leaving you out. It's about protecting you and the child. The threat beyond the Wall is serious, and I can't afford to risk your safety. Even Pop would agree with me."

Rhaenys, crossing her arms, retorted, "So, I'm to be left behind like a delicate flower while you charge into battle?"

Daenerys, attempting to mediate further, said, "Rhaenys, Aegon has a responsibility to protect his family. We must trust his judgment."

Rhaenys, not willing to back down, continued, "Trust his judgment? Daenerys, you know nothing about him as I do, that Aegon tends to act on impulse. We're not children he needs to shelter."

Aegon, feeling defensive, stated, "This is about more than impulse, Rhaenys. It's about facing a threat that could wipe out everything we hold dear."

Rhaenys, feeling somewhat calmer, expressed, "And what about proving ourselves, Aegon? I want to fight alongside you and Pop, not be tucked away like some fragile doll."

Finally relenting, Rhaenys said, "Fine, I'll hear you out, but you better have a good explanation." Aegon nodded and said, "Fair enough. Let's discuss this as a family.".

Aegon said calmly, "I know this decision upsets you, but I need you to understand the gravity of the situation." Rhaenys replied skeptically, "Gravity or impulsiveness, Aegon? Explain to me why we should stay behind while you face this threat alone." Aegon earnestly explained, "It's not about facing it alone or with Pop, Rhaenys. I need to ensure the safety of our family. The Wall is not just a barrier; it's a symbol of protection that is weakening. I can't risk your life or the life of the child." Rhaenys retorted, "And what about our capabilities? We're not defenseless. We've got dragons, and I can handle myself in a fight." Seeing Rhaenys being stubborn, Aegon gave up and said, "Fine, it's up to you to choose the safety of your child or not. And it's up to you to answer Pop when the time comes." After saying that, Aegon left the council room.
