Game of lust: Crown Prince's maid

[WARNING: SLOW BURN] Alora decides to be the first one to use the time machine, but what she doesn't know is that her life is going to be changed for the better, or is it? She was living a happy life with her friends and other important figures in her life. Life seemed normal. Two pretty and supporting besties who are ready to sacrifice their lives for her. Their parents love her as their own. The perfect employer who loves her like her grandchild. A bunch of crazy professors. But everything changes one day, doesn't it? [Volume one] "What are you both doing in my library?" A deep voice echoed in the library. For a second, Alora thought that the birds stopped chirping and the lights dimmed down. She started feeling cold in the presence of the crown prince yet a tint of warmth always stayed there. He gave her mixed feelings. She wasn't scared of him, but she wasn't the most comfortable around him either, yet she wasn't uncomfortable too. He looked so cold, scaring her yet she wasn't scared. A tint of warmth around him always stayed making the bottom of her belly fill up with warmth. She wants to do nothing with him yet at the same time, she wants to taste his irritated, defeated flavor on her tongue. She wants to run away from him, from the feelings he was making her feel yet at the same time, she wants to break the walls that he has built around himself. His eyes weren't shiny and full of life, they were rather cold and dead. Opposite of the first prince who looked full of life. The crown prince was like a devil. He was devilishly handsome, cold yet soothing like music, and seductive as a seducer. All of these without even trying to. - "Stop me before I end up doing something we both will regret," his breath falls on her lips. "We both are already burning. What worse can happen?" He had everything under his control, his power and emotions. Then, she came along. An average-looking girl who was a mixture of mature and childish. His constant blank look started bothering her. She wanted to get under his skin to pass her time, but what she didn't know was that she was playing with the thunderstorm. But she was ready to get burned. [Volume two] "Why are you doing this to me? I know you love me, and you know I love you, so why?" "Love isn't always enough. Move on. I don't love you anymore." With this, he broke her and his heart. - "The writers were wrong when they wrote; he's haIf of my soul for he can never be haIf of my soul because he's my soul. He's the one who fills me up with joy, the reason behind my childlike giggles, my rainbow after a heavy shower, my love." " I loved you,I love you and I am always going to love you. But I will never take you back." "I wish I could take away your pain and die a hundred deaths before let pain touch you again but how big of a coward I am for thinking like this when I am the reason behind your pain." The book is set in both historical and modern eras. Discord: modestbaddie#4732 The picture doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the rightful owner. I just edited it.

beautiful tragedy

The next day Alora and Sarah appeared in the laboratory and unlike last time, all of the professors were busy doing their job.

They were giving their best which made Alora proud.

During the meal break, Professor Wills said," If this continues then we will successfully finish making the Time machine till next week."

"That would be so cool," Sarah said clapping her hands.

The whole winter break, Alora was busy with her studies, small business which is now pretty big and coming to the laboratory.

Other than going to the laboratory, she seldom went outside during the whole vacation.

Winter break is going to end tomorrow. Alora was excited to go back to her school.

She got up early in the morning and made breakfast.

She woke up Sarah and Maya. After having breakfast, they left for school together.

"We three are going to school together after a long time. It feels good," Maya said with a small smile.

"It sure does. Everything feels different today. I feel a little bit for free." Yet caged in god knows what.

The last part didn't leave Alora's mouth.

They arrived at their school.

They were happy as they have completed all of their homework, for the first time.

Even though they three always get good grades in exams but they were never punctual when it comes to homework.

They will also forget to do their homework.

The ring bell and teachers arrived.

After greeting the teacher they all sat in their seats.

"Just like before, I have another announcement to make. A new virus has been found worldwide and it's spreading too fast for us to tame it down. In the last few days, a lot of people have already lost their lives in this tragedy," she signed.

"School is the place from where the virus can be spread the most. If one of you catches the virus then there's a chance that it can spread to everyone present here. Each of you has a family. They might get infected by you. They will meet with different people who might get infected by them. This way the virus will spread a lot faster," she bought her water bottle out and took a mouthful of water. After chunking down a few more gulps, she started again.

"That's why we got a notice from the government to close our schools until we tame the virus. Till then you guys have to stay at home and wear masks before going anywhere. You guys have to avoid food from outside of your house as they might be infected. I hope you guys understand and also, don't forget to maintain a good distance."

"Ma'am, would our classes be off till then? We are in our senior year already. How are we going to cope with all of these?" A student asked from the first bench.

"You guys have to attend classes online till then. You guys will find the link to our classes on our school's website. It will be uploaded tonight. For now, you guys can go back to your homes," saying this, the teacher dismissed them.

Everyone was confused. One side of their heart was the scared cause of the deathly virus while the other side was happy as they will get to have a long vacation.

A dream of all students but what they didn't know was that soon they will be ready to sell their kidneys to be able to attend school physically.

They will become school-sick.

After reaching home, Alora called Professor Cara to know if the work would be continued or not. Professor Cara said that for now, only the professors would be present there and Alora and Sarah temporarily have to stay in their homes.

Alora decided to watch dramas to kill her time. She would stay up till almost dawn watching dramas and then fall asleep, only to wake up around the evening.

She and her studies seemed to have a breakup.

Her once-tight schedule has taken a 360° turn. She was transforming into the most unproductive person she knew but she didn't seem to care that much at this rate.

The only productive thing she did during the whole time was running her business.

But that was also not running very smoothly as people almost stopped purchasing dresses except for a few rich ones.

A lot of people lost their jobs during this pandemic, making it hard for them to provide their families with food. Let alone buy new clothes as desired.

Alora decided to donate money from her parents left money to poor or jobless people. Sarah and Maya also donated their dresses and other things.

Time passed faster than everyone expected, except for those who were having a hard time surviving.

One month passed by and the virus was still spreading like fire.

One of the professors also got infected in this which stopped the work for a while.

The due date to make the time machine was now two months. The government gave them more time cause of the pandemic.

The whole world seemed to stop without giving a single warning.

A virus came like a storm, destroying the lives of countless people.

Many ended up losing their closest people while many ended up losing their own life.

It was as if God was punishing everyone for their bad deeds.

It was as if nature was taking revenge for almost destroying her.

We, humans continued to destroy our beautiful nature without giving it any thought.

We never thought that in the name of advancing everything, we were destroying our own homes.

We got so greedy that we kept on destroying nature for our selfish purposes.

Staying caged in their own houses taught most people one lesson and that was, how animals feel when we keep them in a cage for us to enjoy.

While the humans were locked down in their houses, nature seemed to bloom itself.

Favorite places to visit were gaining back their beauty as now there was no one to destroy them.

Dolphins and other animals were coming out from their safe zoom to explore more as now, there were no humans to destroy them, to harm them.

What a beautiful tragedy it was!
