The Abyss' First Big Expansion
The first of two announcements came that very same day in the form of a grand proclamation by the NPC bards who spoke of the Luminaries' victory with much gusto.
"The ten strongest gathered together, like dark clouds in stormy weather. They huffed and they puffed, and Lady Justice they cuffed… So she'd spread open her portals, and expose the realms to mere mortals," the bards sang, and it was a song that blood bard players would later memorize themselves as a kind of event-exclusive cheer.
In days and weeks to come, this song would be repeated over and over in the taverns of both Adventour and Exploratown.
Although the Luminaries themselves knew the truth that they'd failed — badly. They slew the = Scales of Judgment, the very thing they were meant to steal. Only through the intervention of the Game Master and Morgana, Lord of Adventour, were they able to fulfill the quest requirements.
