M1 - The Prisoner

"Sounds like a fool proof plan Mr.Sasken. I don't have any additional information which I can think of at the moment to be fed to the spy. But if the team has additional plan then I'll keep you informed of the same"

The two men ended the meeting with this.

Mr and Mrs Pfeiffer got busy in packing to travel to Florida while Rachael was helping her parents with the packing. She was also looking into her contacts to see if she could meet any of her school friends after her parents left for Florida.

She wasn't really interested to meet them but she was hoping that Ethan would leave while she was travelling to another city to meet her friends. She had no plans of tagging Ethan along with her.

The holidays were over. Everyone were getting back to their normal routine. Ray had enrolled himself for an undergraduate program in computer science and he had to get back to his college.

Ethan would be left alone in all possible ways. Both Rachael and Ray had expected him to leave with no one around for company but it looked like he was stuck here with no intention of going back to Zon without Rachael.

He told Ray now that he was used to the ways of this planet and could communicate easily he said he would explore the city on his own and be back once after Ray was back from college. He also mentioned that he would return to Zon along with Rachael.

Ray had secretly face palmed himself.

Back on Zeus, Mr. Robert had taken permission from the government to use a prisoner for experimental purpose. Once the permission was provided the government washed off their hands of that prisoner by signing a legal document.

This meant that if someone raised any questions about the prisoner or the treatment given to him, the government would not be responsible in any way and the person who signed the legal document was held responsible.

It was extremely rare that someone came looking for any of the prisoners, as once imprisoned it was for lifetime until their death and it was good for the families to cut off ties from the prisoners. The imprisonment was only given for extreme crimes which included plotting against the government.

And this particular prisoner which Mr.Robert had asked for permission was not even from Zeus, so there was absolutely no risk using him as scapegoat.

The prisoner was got to the lab in an unconscious state. The plan was executed in the exact same manner Ray wanted.

Before they wiped his memory clean they took a complete backup of his existing memory. It is always useful to take a backup as one never knows when that will come handy.

After wiping his memory clean, they fed in the details required along with a technique to view the whereabouts from the eyes of the prisoner as well to trigger his death once after his work of conveying the message to the Zon Royal family had completed.

It did take them a while to test the new memory and make sure there were no errors. The prisoner was more like a Robot than a human.

Just that they had retained his memory of his family so his family in Zon could authenticate that it was really him. This way even the Royal family would trust him without doubting.

Mr. Robert's team had ensured to control the prisoner from Zeus once he was sent to Zon.

At the end first day, although Mr.Robert had got his entire team to work on this and had accomplished the task successfully but he was skeptical about the last two parts where one could view through the spies eyes and to trigger his death.

He thought it would be better to connect with the Supreme One and keep him informed before the spy was sent to Zon the next day.

With this thought in mind he sent a message to Ray at the end of the first day.

This viewing through the spies eyes was not suggested by Ray, it was completely Robert and his team's idea and if this worked, they could use this feature in the future.

Ray was tired and lethargic after his first day class after the holidays. Not just him his entire class seemed not so excited about returning to classes.

Ray thought of checking if he has received any message from Zeus before he went to bed that night. Tomorrow was a crucial day where the first part of the plan will be executed by Robert and his team. And for some reason even Ray seemed to be worried thinking if Robert's team would execute the plan without any danger.

He logged on to his laptop and found a message from Robert asking for a quick connect the next day which had come through just half an hour back.

Ray responded stating to set up a meeting a little earlier than the last time. Now that his college had started he had to be in college by 9:00 am.

While Ray could view this panel only over his laptop and the rest of the stuff was at his fingertips on his mobile he did not want to continue surfing the net on laptop.

He was drained out and he knew it would take a few days to adjust to his class schedule. He set the alarm, turned off the light and went to bed to ensure he got enough sleep. He had to wake up fresh to handle any surprises.

[Authors note: Now that the holidays are over I have been trying to juggle between my regular work and writing the story along with additional stuff I am busy with. This will continue for few more days. So the chapters may not be released at a set time.

I am trying to keep up with releasing at least a min of 1 chapter per day as and how I finish it.
