Rob got the unbearable urge to run away as far as possible from the rest of the heroes. After all, what he feared came true; his Status Plate showed his actual information.

Running away would be easy since Rob was under the influence of his thin presence. However, his reason for not running away right then was that he didn't know the world of Tortus in detail!

Rob knew the part the original story mentioned, but he didn't know anything else!

If he ran away, Rob didn't know what to do next. Surviving in this dangerous world would not be easy, after all.

As such, Rob resisted the urge to run away and continued reading his Status Plate. At the same time, he hoped that he would get a skill to help him deal with this complicated situation.

Abyss Lord was Kousuke Endou's unique Limit Break derived from his Assassination Techniques.

By the way, Limit Break was a skill that multiplied the user's parameters by several folds for a few moments.

Of course, such an incredible skill would have a nasty drawback. Using that skill would strain the user's body and consume a lot of magic power to keep active.

Other than his stupid Job, the value of Magic and Magic Defense was twice the value Rob believed he should have. He was sure that apart from a stat that was most essential to Jobs, the 'heroes' had commonplace stats, which was 10 points.

The exception is Derivative Skill, a skill acquired by spending time and effort polishing one's talents. It's something one obtains by surpassing their limits in one area.

To put it simply, Derivative Skills appear when someone suddenly discovers the trick of doing something they've always struggled with before. It results in the rapid increase of their proficiency with their innate talents.

Back to the topic, what piqued his interest the most was the Derivative Skill of his first skill. Rob hoped 'Camouflage' would somehow help him with his current problem.

'So, it's as I remember. I can't level up by gaining exp from killing monsters but training and breaking through my limit instead.' Rob nodded at Meld's explanation like other summoned heroes.

"Also," Meld said. "Those with a high magic stat will naturally grow faster than others.
