Humanity's Victory

"The night is coming; now my watch begins."

"It shall not end until my death."

"I shall take no wife, hold no land, father no children."

"I shall wear no crowns and win no glory."

Boom! Boom! Boom!

"Ahhhhhh!!!"

"Mother, forgive me."

On the battlefield, soldiers often call out to their mothers or wives in their final moments. It was a testament to their humanity and the loved ones they held dear.

After summoning his puppets, Damian sent them into battle, observing the carnage from a distance. Once the demons were eliminated, he vanished from the scene to oversee the deployment of a massive weapon of destruction.

In the far north, at the Demon King's castle.

At that moment, an alchemical bomb the size of a mountain descended from the sky. The clouds parted as this colossal weapon approached, and countless demons rushed to intercept it.

From a high vantage point, Frieren watched the descending bomb and asked, "Will this be enough?"

As Damian observed the bomb impacting the Demon King's castle, he shook his head and said, "Anti-magic is a branch of magic that no one has bothered to study, but when you create a weapon of mass destruction like this, believe me, it's more than enough."

Indeed, the unexpected "nuclear" bomb from his modern-world ideas was the most effective way to wipe out an enemy race.

"Let's begin…"

Frieren raised her hand, and a magical staff appeared. Her role was to protect Damian from any potential attacks.

The wind howled through the towers and battlements of the imposing Demon King's castle, a dark bastion standing tall in the heart of the north. Shadows danced on the black stone walls, reflecting the sinister energy permeating the air. Inside its thick walls, the demons moved with the confidence their mighty fortress provided, unaware of the impending doom.

High in the sky, Damian recited ancient incantations. His words resonated with ancestral power as his hands traced complex seals in the air. From a nearby hill, he ensured they remained undetected along with the bomb.

"The end is the beginning... I am atomic."

Finally, the spell reached its climax. A bright, pulsating sphere, charged with the destructive energy of a magical nuclear bomb, materialized in the sky above the castle.

Its light was blinding, a mix of violet and luminous hues forming an unsettling contrast. Time seemed to pause for an instant as the sphere reached its maximum brightness.

Suddenly, the sphere descended at breakneck speed, striking the castle's center with devastating force. A colossal explosion shook the ground, unleashing a wave of magical energy that obliterated everything in its path.

Towers crumbled like houses of cards, walls shattered into millions of fragments, and a deafening roar filled the air as fire and magic consumed everything.

The demons, caught off guard and terrified, had no time to react. The shockwave hit them with relentless ferocity, disintegrating them in an instant.

The screams of despair and pain were quickly drowned out by the roar of destruction, leaving only an eerie silence in its wake.

From his secure position, Damian watched the Demon King's fortress turn into a smoldering field of rubble. The skies turned red and black, reflecting the scale of the catastrophe.

"That was easy." Frieren couldn't believe that all the demons had been exterminated so effortlessly.

The Demon King's castle had fallen, and with it, all the demons who once ruled the north. Damian, his gaze fixed on the smoldering ruins, turned and began descending the hill, knowing that his path to supreme power had taken a crucial step forward.

"With This Treasure, I Summon Eight-Handled Sword Divergent Sila Divine General Mahoraga." Damian summoned his divine general to search for any remaining demons.

In mere moments, the area was thoroughly swept, leaving no survivors, confirming the complete extermination of the demons.

As Damian finally allowed himself to breathe easily, he felt half of his mana drained. Surveying the devastation, he soon began the task of restoring the surrounding damage.
