Losing Sanity!

The man who cut the guardian's hand was Leon himself.

He was full of anger that he had not felt before. It was as if something erupted from him that had been dormant for a long time.

He tried his hardest to calm it down, but he kept failing.

While Leon was trying to calm his anger down. On the other hand, the village guardian endured the pain in his hand and shouted. "Boy, don't be fooled by that kid. I don't know what that little devil told you, but you are being used by him, and you may have bad luck in the future."

The village guardian saw that the man was but a small boy. Still, he was good at this age, so he tried to persuade him; hence, he came from a bigger force.

But he was dead wrong.

His persuasion only provoked Leon further. "I do not care what you or anyone say about him!! But if you dare to hurt him or slander him furthermore, I don't mind starting a bloodbath here!" While he was saying these words, his face gradually took on a devilish smile. With that smile, an aura started spreading all around the place.

Leon's smile, words and that chilling aura made the village guardian, elder, the people even Enayet having dread in their hearts.

The village guardian started to be flustered. He felt like he had provoked the real devil. He said it with fear in his eyes. "No, no, no, we will never say those things again. We will also welcome anytime our holy guest comes."

Leon would have let it go by now, but after having that devilish smile come to his face, something seemed to awaken. The village guardian's words made him feel pleasure and ecstasy, which he had never felt before. He felt like he had found a toy with which he could do whatever he wanted.

Leon smiled. "Ahhh. I feel soooo much honoured having welcomed like this. But can you forgive me for cutting down the hand that I had so much fun with~"

The village guardian was dumbfounded. 'this....isn't this like toying with me. Why this motherfucking kid, wait until tomorrow. I am going to fucking have you dead.'

The village guardian cursed in his heart but on the surface, he said with a flattering face as if the was no blood coming out from his hand."Yes, yes, dear guests. There is no problem. This cut-down hand is just a small injury. Hey, elder, find them a place to stay."

The elder nodded his head as if chicken pecking rice.

Leon, with his sane mind, would never stay in one place. He knew this guy and place were no good. Now that he has switched to a new personality, he did lose his rationality, but his cunningness has jumped to a new height.

He knew through the village guardian's words and face that he seemed to be plotting something. So he said."Yes, elder, please find us a place to stay. We are soo tiiiirreeddd."

He turned toward Enayet, who had fear written on his face. "Come on, let's go. These nice and good people are finding a place for us to stay."

Enayet nodded without thinking of anything.

The elder took them to a tavern that was the best their village could offer.

While following them, Leon gradually regained his senses. He now had a fearful face. ' What the hell just happened? I just saw everyone ridiculing Enayet, and that guy gave a killing blow to Enayet. I became so angry that I seemed to lose my sanity. I felt like I became a new person there.'

He looked at Enayet, who was following behind him with his head down. He knew this little guy was in a mess now. So he smiled with his normal face. "Enayet."

Enayet looked up, hoping not to see that face again. His wish seems to have been fulfilled. Big Bro had returned to normal and had that smile, saying everything would be fine. So he stated."Brother, what happened to you? Are you alright?"

"Yes, I am now. Don't worry; nothing happened. I was just acting like that to make them feel scared. How was it? Did big brother nailed?" Leon started lying. If he told him he had lost his sanity, Enayet would be worried all the time.

Enayed believed his lie. 'I knew it. How can big bro be like that? He has a calm and loving personality. How can I doubt him? Arghhhh..I am such a bad little brother.'

Enayet didn't show any of these emotions. He nodded. "Yes, big brother. If you do something like this in the future, warn me earlier."

"Okay, I will." Leon agreed.

The crowd in the back witnessed the whole scene unfold. They seem to have gone through many emotions today.

"That kid brought that scary boy to our village. He really is a curse for us."

"What are you saying? That scary-looking boy is the new curse for us. We don't know the force behind him, but looking at him, the force behind would surely be strong."

"If it weren't for that cursed kid, we would never have that boy in our village."

"Heh, a small kid with your so-called curse can bring this strong disaster to our small village. I don't believe that guy that much bad luck."

"You kids from the new generation don't know anything."

"Huh, an old fogey who only knows old stuff is teaching us new things."

"You guys talk back to your elderly? I see your parents did not teach you well."

"What did you say? I dare you to tell that again, you old...."

"You guys don't blame me now."

A war started unrelated entirely.

While they were at war, Leon and Enayet had already settled in a tavern when the elder brought them in.

Leon looked outside the window and thought. 'I should start focusing on controlling my feelings the most. especially anger. I can not ever have anger on anything.'

'This thing also brought me into trouble. But I want to see how that guy can bring me trouble."
