CHAPTER 68

"Hey Nat are you alright? " Tina enquired gently from her seeing how sickly she looked on the hospital bed .

Natasha opened her eyes slowly on hearing the voice of someone hoping her beloved had come to visit her but unfortunately it was just Tina. " I'm getting better but I think I will stay here for a little longer " She said looking all over the prinstine hospital walls .

" Oh that's fine just try and feel better alright? I brought some fruits and your favorite chocolate for you " Tina continued speaking when she remained silent.

" I'm not allowed to eat chocolates Tina and this place sucks, I'm tired of laying on this bed day in day night plus my body feels battered both from the beating I received from that witch that calls herself Alice and the nurses painful syringes " .

Tina tried her hardest not laugh out loud and hoped she was successful because the last straw that will break the Carmel's back is if Natasha gets an inkling she was making fun of her, hell would simply break loose.

" I'm sorry love everything would be fine , but who are you trying to call "? She questioned trying to distract her from the fact she was smiling above her while massaging her hair.

" I'm calling Jack but it's not connecting " She muttered with a low register " Do you think he blocked me? " She asked with wide panicked eyes.

Tina sighed loudly and quickly stepped away from Natasha in annoyance. " Gosh Nat I would have given you a hard shake if you weren't sick at the moment " .

Natasha ignored her and continued with her train of thoughts " You know unlike jack he hasn't called me yet, why the fuck is he so into that plain nerd I mean what does she possess that I don't have? Huh Tina? " .

" You really want an answer? Okay I will give you one, first ayra has a good head on her shoulders and truthfully she's more beu- " .

" Stop it Tina!!! " She shouted before she could complete her sentence, have you come here to worsen my condition? What sort of friend are you? " .

" I would be a bad one if I don't tell you the truth Nat, you ain't Jack's girl anymore deal with it pushing yourself on him is so unladylike and would only attract more problems for you , jack doesn't even care about you " She concluded.

" He cares about me " Natsha replied forcefully refusing to believe otherwise.

" Where is he? If he cares so much about your welfare he should be here with you or even called by now " .

" I'm sure that girl is keeping him from coming to me but it's fine I will talk to him on a school day " She muttered starring demurly at her phone and wishing jack would call at that moment to prove Tina wrong.

Tina growned loudly " Wake up Nat he doesn't give a flying fuck about you not then not now seems like the beating you received from Alice isn't nearly enough to tilt your brain in the right direction " .

" Are you insulting me" ? She questioned with blazing eyes.

" No Nat just stating facts " .

" To hell with your facts Tina and as for Alice she dared to lay a finger on me she would pay greatly for it " She vowed.

Tina paled significantly wondering what she was up to this time " Nat don't do anything stupid you know how mean and malicious Alice can be , she is nothing like meek ayra " .

" Lol I know but I won't face her directly haven't healed from all these bruises yet, I would take another route but she simply can't go Scott free, take a good look at my face she messed it up " .

" Yeah it's really bad your face looks like a trailer ran it over " Tina said turning her face this way and that way to get a better view of the bruises " .

" Tina!!! One more unfiltered word from you and you would leave my room and never to return " . She warned.

" I'm merely telling you the truth Nat and I need to shove it down your stubborn throat no matter how bitter it is so you would retrace your footsteps before you make another major mistake " .

" I make my own decisions you don't get to tell me what to do and what not to do, you are my friend not my damn mother " .

" Hmm alright what are your insane plans this time? " Tina asked hands akimbo.

" None of your business you are one of the reasons my first plan foiled therefore you won't know my plans this time " Natasha stated imperiously.

Tina didn't know whether to be relived she wasn't involved this time but the other part was curious to know about this " Plan of hers".

" How was it my fault? I did everything you asked me to do unfortunately seems like Alice has eyes at the back of her head " Tina muttered.

" Tsk and I never knew she would stand up for her sister in that manner, I mean she's always so bitchy towards her " .

" Alice is bitchy towards everyone " Tina chimed in taking a bite of one of the chocolate she had gotten for Natasha.

" Yeah turns out she loves her ayra but pretends not to what a sly fox " .

" With what you are planning to do next do you think jack would be happy with you? It wouldn't bring him closer to you so just drop the plan and focus on recovering " .

" It doesn't matter you said it yourself jack doesn't care about me and it's not like I'm going after his precious ayra, I'm aiming for the big dog now " .

" What if you miss your target and hurt yourself in the process? "

" I doubt that will happen Tina " .

" What do you mean? " Tina stood upright not wanting to miss any details .

" It won't happen Tina because this time I have backup and my plan won't physically harm her just disgrace her like she did to me in front of the students.
