Visiting Lilli 2

Jiro is overwhelmed at how many people are at the house. There are a group setting up a tent. He is surprised that the woman greeting them is pregnant. She does not seem to have much difficulty with moving about. He hears Astila calling from the barn near the tree line.

"Mr Kaji welcome to our home , my brother and his wife will be out in a moment. " Astila shakes Jiro's hand. He looks around smiling at all of the family bustling about.

"Do not be overwhelmed there is only immediate family here today. It will be a laid back kind of day. You will not need your bodyguards. They may enjoy the day today." Yona calls as he helps his very pregnant wife down the last step of the porch.

Shiro smiles brightly at Yona. Knowing that his friend is here makes him feel much more at ease. Without thinking he rushes to him and gives him a big hug. Yona laughs and hugs him back.

"Shiro I am very pleased to meet you, I have heard so much about you ." Yona tells him. Shiro decides that he needs to show Yona who he is. So he asks.

"Can you show me around , just the two of us I would like to know you better?" Shiro asks shyly. Yona laughs at his expression.

"Of course it would be my pleasure. How about I take you to the waterfall first. " Yona motions him towards the path by the barn. Jiro and Astila watch as the two walk towards the woods.

" that is so unlike my nephew I am sorry if he offended you." Jiro tells Astila.

" oh no I'm not offended in anyway . I know that Yona has been talking with your brother Hiroto and FaceTime many times with Shiro. It is expected when seeing him for the first time in person." Astila reassured Jiro.

Once out of sight of the others Shiro turns to Yona .

"So are you curious as to why I wanted to see you alone?" Shiro's voice has changed and when Yona looks it's Kitori standing beside him. Laughing Yona hugs the man tightly.

"I am so happy to see that you are ok. I kinda thought when Morrigan said that a fox spirit was involved with Shiro. That it was you, especially when you sent the picture from the museum that he was visiting. So you have decided to be Shiro, What about Kitori's homes and companies. What am I to do with them?" Yona asks. Thinking for a few moments a smile breaks across Kitori's face.

"You manage them, you become the CFO. That way you are the boss. You do not need to work for anyone else. You can interact with only the companies you wish. With the company primarily in Japan you can deal with my new family and bring my love to visit whenever she wishes. That way no one can question anything. If it turns out that Shiro's life is not my last life then you can handle my affairs for my next sleep. If it is then when I grow up and marry Lilli our family can merge . There is nothing that says I have to have a Japanese CFO to run my business. I will sign whatever is needed when the time is right. Go ahead and sign the house that Kinta and Hana live in over to them unless you have need of it." Kitori tells him. Yona nods in agreement.

"Once my business is done with Kaji I will do as you ask. When will you show Lilli your true self?" Yona asks Kitori.

"Her mark will become fully visible when she is eighteen. It will be visible only to celestial beings and other foxes. It is a mark of a chosen one. I cannot show her before then. To do so could cause her harm." Kitori tells Yona with sadness.

" that is only a few more years and in the meantime you can grow and learn what will be needed to protect her. I have great expectations of you." Yona hugs him again before motioning to him it time to get back. Kitori shifts back into Shiro before heading back. When they hear Lilli coming into the clearing.

"Uncle do you plan on hogging Shiro all day?I want to take him for a ride." Lilli calls out to them.

"Hmm that depends on what Shiro wants to do." Grinning down at his niece.

"Well you better hurry back I think I heard Aunt Remi saying she wants to ride the motorcycle with Uncle Dude." Smiling impishly at her uncle knowing he will run fast to stop her aunt. When Yona starts yelling Remi's name as he runs for the house Lilli let's out a peel of laughter. Shiro looks at her confused.

"Aunt Remi is due to deliver any moment and the thought of her on a motorcycle is just to funny and scary. She told me to tell him that to get him in a tizzy." Lilli explains. Shiro smiles to himself thinking that his Lilli has a little bit of fox in her. Sitting by the waterfall the two watch the fish swimming around, just enjoying being in this quiet but beautiful place . Astila and Jiro walk to find the two a warm smile crosses Jiro's face as he watches the two sitting and talking. The older men watch the children with contentment knowing that they may have a future together. Either as a couple or as great friends. One is just happy for his nephew finally has a true friend. The other knowing that his daughter will have a lifelong friend, one that is not related by blood but one chosen. The two call out to them that it's time to head back to the house.
