Why?

Orchid spoke clearly making his presence known.

Jake's face flushed as he stares at Orchid, shocked that he was standing right infront of him. So many thoughts flood his mind not all being what he's used to.

Orchid's mind went blank looking at the muscular man sitting there. The sight of Jake with his shorts off gave a shutter to Orchid's heart, he looked away while his nose started to turn scarlet.

'Why is he not wearing anything' Orchid got shy giving them both matching noses

'Why do I care?' he tried to look back but got even more nervous and just shifted his eyes to the floor, he decided to convey whatever he wanted looking down, if he did it any other way, nothing would come out of his mouth.

"Hey are you okay, he got up reaching to him, the closer Jake got the faster Orchid's pulse got...he was able to see everything so clearly." Orchid hit his hand away but regretted it as the look of worry changed into one of sadness on the blonde's face.

"Why did you come here?" his tone changed into an aggressive one

Jake's heart started to ache, he didn't want to be treated like this especially by him but he didn't know why, he never liked him before why are these feeling suddenly making their way into him. He never had these kinds of feelings for anyone but of all people why was it Orchid he thought.

Orchid was about to apologize but Jake beat him to it.

He asked again.

"Why did you come here?" he looked at him this time with the usual expression of annoyance with everything and everyone.

"I wanted to ask you about what had happened in the hospital earlier." Orchid gave up on the apology as he realized the reason for his coming.

"Why did you suddenly barge in like that and caused such a scene? What was your reason?" he looked at Jake waiting for anything even the most ridiculous excuse and he would have just accepted it and left.

Shocked at his confrontation Jake looked away, realizing that this was his chance to clear things up. He spoke up.

"I d..didnt mean to..." he trying explaining hoping that this might reduce the tension between them.

"What?" he blurted out, Orchid was shocked with the soft tone coming from Jake's mouth, he never knew someone like him could be capable of speaking in such a soft manner.

Jake took the sudden interruption as Orchid not believing in his words, he didn't know what else to say other than...

"I don't need to explain myself to you!" regret swelled up inside of him but he didn't know what else to do, Orchid didn't seem to want to listen to his reason. So he did the only thing that he knew to do.

He didn't know why it was so hard to bring up his emotions with this guy, just a few days ago he beat him up to a pulp but all of sudden he couldn't even have what Jake would call a normal conversation with him. As if his autopilot system kicked in he tried to start a fight.

He got up cornering the white hair against one of the lockers charging at him as if challenging him to a fight, but his face changed as he realized the distance between the both of them had little. When he looked up as he's eyes met with Orchid's and as they did his body started to heat up and before he realised what he was doing his palm lay on Orchid's cheek caressing it slowly.
