The Escape

'Am I dead?' Orchid slightly breaks apart his eyelids. The color in his face is washed away as he sees the blond right in front of him, holding his sword, the tip only inches away from touching the fabric on Orchid's uniform. Jake looks unamused.

"Is this all you've got?" he asks, getting angered at the pathetic display the white hair had just made.

"Again! I'll give you 20 seconds to get ready. Hit me with everything you've got!" he announces stepping back making space between the two. Jake realizes he might have overestimated the white hair, he was expecting a fight not this.

'Maybe it was one of his friends?' he contemplates

'This guy, he's bad news, I need to get oughta here...' Orchid eyes the entrance of the greek-styled arena.

"Okay, just give me some space okay." he plays along. Orchid looks around planning his grand escape.

'Talking to this fool is not going to change anything, I have gotta figure out something, anything. Water magic is my best bet, maybe the fog again but this time with clones?' he thought, he didn't really have anything else other than these few, he gathered as much as he could trying to recall anything else he could use.

"You're 20 seconds starts now" As Jake counts down aloud. Orchid starts murmuring words with his eyelids closed.

"Your time's up!" Not a second later Jake dives into the mist.

"There's no point to this." he announces. Jake sees a silhouette of a figure standing still.

"If this is all you've got then you don't deserve to live." he mumbles to himself. Jake beheads the figure. The figure dissipates into the fog as the blade cuts through it. Jake smiles sinisterly.

"Fuck, almost there, guess they really are just that stupid." he says while smiling smugly. Orchid is running towards the entrance of the arena, not slowing down for even a second putting it all into his feet.

Jake swings his sword slashing through the fog, the fog instantly separates. Jake smiles as he has now a clear view of Orchid and sprints towards him. Closing on him, Jake voices out "Checkmate!". Orchid smiles upon hearing his bold statement. As Jake takes a step closer to rip through Orchid's back a sudden blue light starts to glow below him.

"Good luck getting out of that! It's my famous insect trap, don't worry it will wear off soon just sit tight." As he smiles Orchid turns around and strides away confidently towards the entrance with no rush taking his time entranced by the feeling of outdoing the blond. A loud sound comes from behind Orchid.

'Don't tell me..... he escaped?' he thought looking back, dread started to paint his face as he realizes that Jake was no longer there. He turned back only to see him standing right at the gateway. His eyes glowing with a fierce blaze, looking bloodthirsty.....
