Now or Never

Everything seemed to slow down as they both stared into each other's eyes, they both didn't move, and even after Jake realized his hand were on his cheeks he didn't remove them. He couldn't resist how soft his cheeks were, he wanted to make them his, the longer he had them in his grasp.

Everything became all fuzzy, looking at him in such close proximity he could appreciate all the bumps and bruises scattered all over his face. He tried getting a better look at him, moving closer. He wanted to take everything in.

The distance between them didn't do any good to Orchid heart, he could feel it pounding and at any rate, it might jump out of his chest. He looked clueless on what next to do, he didn't think things would end up like this...he came here to discuss something entirely different, why did it turn out like this all of a sudden? he thought.

As if snapped out of a trance they both pushed away from each other, they dared not look at each other and stared at their toes. Jake was just about to say something but just as he started Orchid rushed out of the locker room, he couldn't look at him nonetheless have a serious conversation with him, he decided to get answers from him one way or another but like this, he might do something he would really really regret.

Orchid rushed out not paying attention to where but just needing an out to that situation. As he looked back he noticed he was far from the training grounds so he stopped to catch his breath, he made sure he wasn't followed by the blonde and he backed up to the closest wall, sliding down, he sat on the ground hoping to rest and get his thoughts in order, he tried to make sense of what happened but no matter how many times he went about it he couldn't understand when did all this start.

'Did anyone cast a love charm on the both of us?' he shoved that idea to the back of his mind as it didn't make sense, no one would mess with Jake like that. He racked his mind trying to find someone who would have a grudge on him, he could list a few but they wouldn't go to such lengths, these types of idiots usually hash it out in the arena and not play cupid.

He pressed his palms onto his face hoping that things would pan out the way he wanted to... but to him, that is the biggest issue he doesn't know how he wants it to pan out anymore, his mixed feeling to all of this was what troubled him the most.
