Chapter 298: Attending the Appointment

Finally, it was eight o'clock, but no one knocked on the door. The boss figured it was highly unlikely anyone else would come, so he angrily threw his phone on the table.

"This chick dares to refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit. Since you dare to stand me up, just you wait, I won't let this go unless hell freezes over."

But the room was already booked. If he had to sleep here alone tonight, wouldn't it be a waste? Luckily, the boss had many mistresses.

A sleazy smile crept up his face.

"If you don't come, it's your loss. Do you think I'm so eager to spend three million bucks on a woman like you? With this kind of money, who couldn't I pick up? Now I can find a woman who doesn't charge me anything. When you come looking for me in the future, I won't give you the time of day unless I've lost my mind."

He picked up the phone on the table and dialed one of his mistresses.
