Purple Summers came to her senses, paused, and swallowed the food in her mouth.
"It's nothing... I was just thinking about Lindsay Carpenter, her tumor has spread. Even with the money, it seems the surgery has only a fifty percent success rate."
Purple sighed, looking somewhat disheartened, "If the surgery is successful, I really hope she can change her job. It's such a waste to risk her life again in such a high-risk job after barely making it through this time."
After she finished speaking, she took a bite of her food and murmured to herself, "Forget it... everyone has their own way of living, and I have no right to tell others how to live their lives. Let her be!"
Then she continued to bury her head in her meal.
Alexander chuckled as he ruffled her hair, "What are you always thinking about in that little head of yours? You're so concerned about others' lives; you might as well pay more attention to your own."
