Purple Summers' clear and cold eyes sparkled as she listened.
"Let him stew for a few days," she replied.
Aria Jackson hesitated, then asked doubtfully, "Will Dylan Summers tell the truth?"
"It doesn't matter if he tells the truth or not, as long as he exposes his weaknesses," Purple's gaze fell on the fallen leaves outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. She slowly continued, "Let's test the waters and observe his reaction. If he really did it and we can't find a single flaw, he must be hiding something very deep."
Aria nodded, thinking of Dylan as a suspect and Nathaniel as a terrible person. She couldn't help but feel irritated and cursed, "What kind of people are in the Summers family? They're like a den of snakes, rats, insects, and prostitutes!"
Purple chuckled, "Don't curse them; I'm a Summers now too."
Aria sighed in frustration, "You, of all people, had to come back as a part of the Summers family."
