Hicks stays silent and just keeps walking. He had just killed another person. Something he never thought he would do.
(Argent)
"Is it about the thief? There are tons of them don't be upset about one"
(Hicks)
"You don't get it, you've only seen people kill. You've never done it yourself"

"Look kid, he was going to kill you. It was either him or you. It's also your fault he's dead, you could've just crippled him"
(Hicks)
"Honestly, his murderous intent frightened me. I didn't know what to do so I listened to you"
Hicks reaches the nearby town. He walks to the entry way and is approached by a townsmen.
(Townsmen)
"Hey there welcome to Chengzu town"
(Hicks)
"Oh hello there"
(Townsman)
"Hey kid are you alright? You don't seem too good"
(Hicks)
"Sorry I just had an experience"
(Townsmen)
"Did you eat those weird mushrooms in the forest, they have some weird side effects."
(Hicks)
"Mushrooms? What no, it's just I did something I never wanted to do"
(Townsmen)
"Well whatever you did you don't seem to fine about it. Come to my house so you can rest"
Hicks follows the man and as he walks around he sees many people. They're all happy and talking. But as he looks into alleyways created by other small buildings he sees homeless people, people starving
(Argent)
"See how fortunate you are, being a cultivator and not being alone in the street"
(Hicks)
*I do, I should go help them*
(Argent)

*Why?! They're suffering*

Hicks walks towards a homeless person but before he gets there he is pulled into the void by Argent. Hicks' body collapses on the floor and the townsman he was following rushes over to help him.
(Hicks)
"What the hell are you doing?"
Argent flicks Hicks' forehead sending him flying. Hicks' real body starts coughing up blood and the townsman picks him up and takes him to his house
(Hicks)
"What the hell!?"
(Argent)
"I just damaged your spirit now your cultivation will slow down. You should've just listened to me"
Hicks tries to throw a punch at Argent but Argent just blows at him making him fall
(Argent)
"You're too weak, imagine if I had a physical body. I could run around this world destroying anything I see"
Hicks gets up realizing Argents incredible power

"I'm not supposed to hurt you but you pushed me. Never do that again"
Hicks feels a murderous aura coming from Argent

Hicks gets out of the void and finds himself in a bed.
(Townsman)
"Ah you're awake. You passed out earlier and you were coughing up blood so I had to carry you to my home"
(Hicks)
"I'm sorry for the trouble, my name is Hicks what shall I call you?"
(Townsman)
"Ah I'm Bohai, judging from your attire you must be from the Moonlight Dust Pavilion right?"
(Hicks)
"Yes I am a disciple"
(Bohai)
"You must be one of the top disciples judging from your red hair"
(Hicks)
"Sorry to disappoint but I am just born with naturally red hair"
A little boy runs into the room around the age of six
(Little Boy)
"Daddy why have you brought this ugly man in here"
(Hicks)

(Argent)
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
(Bohai)
"Excuse my son's rudeness he is only six, his name is Bozhai, he doesn't understand proper etiquette."
(Hicks)

Hicks gets up
"Well thank you for the help but I should leave now"
(Bohai)
"So soon? Very well, I can't stop you"
(Bozhai)
"Bye ugly man!"
Hicks smiles at the kid and leaves. As he walks around looking at all the thing people are selling he looks in an alleyway and sees a familiar outfit. He goes to take a look and sees another Moonlight Dust Disciple talking with two other people that look like thieves. He shrugs and continues walking but behind him he hears a woman shriek. He turns back around and runs to the shop the sound cam from. The two men have the woman pushed to the ground. While they stand over her
Hicks pushes through the crowd of people gathered at the entrance of the shop and peers in.
As Hicks looks into the shop he sees the two thieves that the other disciple was talking to
(Thief 1) [thief 1 lol]
"You sow you stole from my brother how dare you!"
(Thief 2) [Thief 2 Jeez the author's an idiot!]
"Yeah you stole from me you swine, you took my necklace and sold it. Now you owe me. You shall pleasure me, You shall please me"
(Thief 1)
"Yes you shall please my brother Bai and after him you will please me Fan"
(Woman)
"No I don't even know you, get away from me you swines"
(Random Voice)
"LEAVE THAT WOMAN ALONE"
The disciple from earlier is standing behind them. The two thieves look back at him.
(Bai)
"Who the hell are you? You wanna get in our way? We'll kill you!"
(Fan)
"Yeah we'll kill you"
(Disciple)
"If you kill me you will make an enemy of the Moonlight Dust Pavilion so go ahead"
(Bai)
"Moonlight Dust Pavilion!?!... Fine we will leave"
(Hicks)
"So that's how it is"
Hicks emerges from the crowd of people and steps into the shop
(Hicks)
"WAIT!!"
The disciple looks back in shock
(Hicks)
"Hello brother disciple since you are here you must have a token from the elders that allows you to leave right?"
Hicks gives the disciple a smug look
(Disciple)
"Uhm well you see I uh- well"
(Hicks)
"You wouldn't dare fake to be a disciple would you?"
(Disciple)
"Well you see- Look the thieves are getting away!"
Hicks looks to the thieves and they are just standing there. When he looks back at disciple he sees him pushing through the crowd to escape
(Hicks)
"You two stay there. If you escape and I find you, you may end up as a puddle of blood"
The thieves stand there is shock and do nothing. Hicks chases after the false disciple. He isn't a cultivator so he isn't fast at all. Hicks catches up to him quickly and punches him in the stomach. The punch hurts so bad that the fake disciple gets knocked out. He searches his body
(Hicks)
"No token huh. So you were a faker trying gain prestige. What trash"
When the fake disciple comes to, Hicks grabs him by the throat and starts choking him.
(Fake disciple)
"No please... do- Ah ugh"
(Argent)
"I thought you were against killing. He wasn't even trying to kill anyone"
(Hicks)
"He deserves it"
(Argent)
"Deserves it for what? Trying to get popular?"
(Hicks)
"Shut up! He deserves it!"
(Fake disciple)
"Please, agh ah ugh..."
The fake disciple dies and Hicks drops him on the floor. Hicks stands there staring at the body with bloodlust in his eyes. He walks back to the shop to check on the two thieves.
Argent is standing there in the void.
(Argent)
*Kid, I hope this isn't the kind of God you'll turn out to be. Killing people without a reason, you'll just be another murderer that deserves to die.*
