Seb's pov
I looked at the arrangements of the school dance and smiled Rica would be my date for the dance. Mentally thinking of who had given my father a company. I was really happy when I found out my father owned a company.
I got home that night to find our old shabby apartment empty. I began worrying about dad he sometimes got too drank and slept at the road and those nights I had to go looking for him. I began pacing up and down the apartment thinking of where to find my father. I had a knock at the door and stopped my pacing up and down and went to get the door. There stood my father with a suit blinking rapidly trying to think if what I saw was real. He wore a prim neat black suit and looked like he had gotten a shave and he wasn't drank at all. That's new. My mind could not process what was happening so I moved back and sat down on the couch.
Dad got inside and sat beside me. He took my hand and placed it on his as he smiled at me."I know this is such a shock to you as it is to me. I went back to work today in the morning and found out all the company shares were transferred in my name and I didn't know what to do so I decided I need a make over and now that I had a company I needed to build an image since now Sebastian my son you are the heir to my fortune. Now we won't have to suffer anymore you won't starve because I would provide everything for you and you will have a happy life my son. Come let me take you to our new house," he said. As my father spoke to me and pulled me up with him as he guided me outside the door and out there I saw one of those expensive cars I see on TV. They looked like the type of car's Rica drives to school. The door was opened for me and my father and I got in. I let my thoughts drift as a thought crossed my mind as Rica Delion was the one behind this. I could not ask my father because he would not tell me and if it was her I would be thankful to her forever. We arrived at our new house which looked like paradise more than a house. I stepped out of the car and looked at the mansion before me.
I stared in awe because never in my life had I ever been in such a beautiful house. Dad walked me into the house as we found servants waiting for us greeting us. I smiled at everyone of them as they smiled genuinely at me. Dad told me there was a lot of rooms and I would get to pick the one I wanted.I chose the one with a balcony and a clear view of the woods behind the house. I settled into my room and looked around. It was bigger than the apartment that we used to stay in.
I walked the hallways smiling at myself as I thought about the girl who changed my whole life just in a blink of an eye. I looked at my watch and saw it was time to pick Avery or should I say Rica's new name. I got out of the school and got on to my bike and drove towards her house. She had sent me her address so it was easy to find her house. I stopped before her front gates and looked at the mansionette it was bigger than our mansion and it was beautiful. The gates automatically opened as I drove into the driveway. I got off the bike and walked inside her house. There she was standing in a velvet red dress that was knee length. It had straps behind her back as it revealed her fair skin.
She had a beautiful black waist length wig on her head. Nobody could tell by the way it suited her it almost looked like her own hair. When she felt my presence in the room she turned to look at me and there my jaw dropped. Her lipstick matched the colour of her dress. Her face had no other make up apart from the lipstick and mascara but she looked gorgeous. She smiled at me as she walked towards me. I was spell bound that I couldn't move if that is how the Disney prince's felt when they saw their princess then I wanted to be in a fairytale that ended with a happily ever after. "Seb you look dashing today,"she said. I couldn't help but blush before her. I smiled at her and said,"You look as beautiful as ever." She just chuckled then pulled me out with her as I heard her mother yell for me to take care of her daughter. Her brother came behind us but took the car instead.
I took off my tuxedo coat and put it over her shoulder as she climbed on my bike. As she put her hands on my waist the muscles on my stomach tensed and I forced myself to start the bike. It took about half an hour to get to school. As soon as we got inside the hallways everyone was staring at her. They could all see the beauty of Avery but Avery herself told me she put on the wig at least she would look like a girl. I had laughed at that but she said her hair cut and way of dressing made her look like a boy. She kept rumbling on and on as I only felt like telling her she was beautiful no matter how she looked. The first time she kissed me at the park and the cheerleader appeared and I saw the love inside her eyes but only the anger blocking it. I knew from that day I would have to let my feelings for her die down because she would never be mine.
Now that we would be singing the song rewrite the stars I think that would be enough for my blossoming feelings but I would shut them down because she belonged to another. I left her side as I walked to go see if Ryan my best friend had arrived and I saw him holding the cheerleader. "Hi dude how you doing where is your date for the dance?" I hugged him as I drugged him in to show him my date. The girl who he was with was that girl Whitney that Rica loved. But by the way things were going Rica changed her appearance for something and I'm sure it had to do with the girl.
