CHAPTER 63

Ria followed Joe quietly as they headed to the parking. Once they were there, Joe opened the door of his white Bentley for Ria before he went ahead and took his own seat. Of course there was a few eyes staring at them as they passed. Just as Joe's car left, some minutes later, Zara and Diana showed up at the parking and the white Bentley disappeared.

" Oh shit, we missed him!" Zara said disappointedly.

" Whom did we miss?" Diana asked confused.

" we missed Joe, I thought we'd meet, maybe invite him to have lunch with us now that Ria got busy." Zara said.

" You are really very obsessed with the Skyler's son, aren't you?" Dian asked rhetorically.

" Well, who wouldn't be smitten by him? Joe is a handsome gentleman and cheerful, kind. I just love everything about him." Zara said looking dreamy with a sheepish smile.

" Well, it's just you who sees all that in him because you like him but I'm sure Kayreen has even more handsome men than Joe, and rich too but I don't know about you, may e you're obsessed with him because he is famous." Dian said.

" I don't like how because he is famous, I like him because my heart always races whenever I see him or even just I hear his voice." Zara said with a beautiful smile.

" Well, let's hope he feels the same about you because I don't want you to be sulking in bed wetting your pillow just because your Joe said no to you!" Diana said.

" Well, I really wish he would feel the same about me. Honestly Dee, I like Joe, a lot and I would be really happy if he would accept my feelings for him." Zara said.

" Okay, let's hope he sees that. Now, let's go to one of my favourite five stars hotel. They cook very good chicken tikka over there." Dian said.

They went ahead and drove in Zara's car, it was a jungle green Toyota land cruiser that belonged to her sister Mela.

" Nice car by the way!" Dian said checking the exterior first before getting into the car. It was the first time Zara drove her own car.

" So, you decided to buy yourself a Toyota I see!" Dian teased.

" It is actually not mine, this one belongs to my sister Mela. I asked her if I could drive her baby out and she didn't mind, so here I am." Zara said.

" Well, I like it." Zara said.

" Do you want to drive, I that case?" Zara asked.

" I'm not a fun of driving you know." Dian said.

" I know, I just thought you would love to." Zara said. She wore her seatbelt.

" I don't like driving cars, that is why I have a driver." Diana said proudly and Zara laughed.

" Eew!" Zara said," now you want start bragging how you have a driver." Zara said. She started the engine and drove out of the school compound.

All the way they kept of chatting randomly and laughing. Since Diana already gave Zara the address, it was easy, they just search it on the GPS.

" Phew!" Zara said after parking her car.

" You won't regret coming here!" Dian said with a smile.

" Your words better be true!" Zara said.

They walked into the hotel chatting and laughing. An usher walked to them and greeted them.

" Hello ladies, welcome to Alcon five stars hotel!" The gentleman said.

While they were being welcomed, Diana's attention was elsewhere.

Zara noticed her divided attention.

" Hey what is it?" Zara asked concerned.

" Nothing, umm, let's not eat here, I know of a better restaurant. I suddenly want to eat a traditional Italian meal!" Diana said quickly.

" But this please seems really good, let's eat here today, we can have Italian tomorrow, maybe Ria would like that idea too, I heard that she is very fond of Italian food!" Zara said sounding excited.

" No Zara...!" Diana said trying to stop her from going further in. Zara suddenly stopped in her tracks, her expression also turned dull. She stood there speechless. A year suddenly dropped off her eye and she quickly wiped it off.

" Let's leave from hear!" Zara said dragging Diana out.

" I'm sorry about that." Diana said sadly as they were I side the car.

" She lied to me, she lied because she wanted to have lunch with Joe. But why him? She knows that I love Joe but yet she chose to be with him, why? Can't she find herself some other guy, why Joe? Diana, I'm telling you, I won't forgive her this time. I... I thought that at the party it was just a fling, she got carried away because Joe was handsome but she took it too far this time. Does she love him too? Are they dating now?" Zara spoke painfully.

" Maybe, they are just having lunch, as friends!" Diana tried to reason with her.

Zara laughed sarcastically. She had tears in her eyes.

" They looked so happy in there. They were laughing and talking like they've known each other for a long time while Joe wouldn't even spend a minute with me, he wouldn't even talk to me apart from a forced smiled and greetings. What does Ria have that I don't?" Zara spoke with pain.

" You're overthinking, now calm down, we will talk to Ria and know what is going on." Diana suggested.

" No, I want nothing to do with Ria now. She chose to betray me." Zara said wiping off her tears.

" Let's go!" Zara said starting the engine.

" Are you sure you can drive? If you're not, let me drive." Diana requested.

" No, I'm fine, I can drive." Zara said.

" Okay, if you say so." Diana said and Zara drove away to another restaurant.

Ria was having a good time with Joe, he's such a funny guy.

" We should do this more often." Joe said once he had drove back to school with Ria. They were still in Joe's car.

" I don't think so, this might be the last!" Ria said with a smile. She spoke with a soft beautiful voice.

" Why would you say that?" Joe asked.

" I'm not going to change my plans again for you. My two girlfriends need me." Ria said.

" Ria and Diana?" Joe asked.

" Yes, they are nice people. And by the way, Zara talks a lot about you, she must be obsessed. I'm sure she would love it if you ask her out sometimes!" Ria said and Joe frowned.

" I don't want to go out with other girls, I now only love going out with you." Joe said smiling sweetly. Ria chuckled and ignored his different look. The way Joe was looking at her right now. She felt uncomfortable.

" Okay, thank you for today. I really had a good time. Bye!" Ria said and before Joe could say anything, she had already opened the door for herself and walked out.

"Bye!" Joe shouted at Ria as she was disappearing. Ria didn't turn back, she just shook her head.

Ria met with Jade before she went to her afternoon class.

"Hey Jade!" Ria greeted.

" Hey princess! You seem to be in a really good mood!" Jade said.

" Really! Is it written all over my face?" Ria asked.

" Yes, your face is glowing with that smile!" Jade teased and Ria just laughed.

" I'll be late for class, so, see you around!" Ria said.

" Umm, wait!" Jade called her back before she could walk away.

" Yes?" Ria turned back to him.

" Maybe we have a stroll later on, and eat dinner somewhere?" Jade was asking her out.

" Nah! I think Liam has a plan for dinner, it would disappoint him if I turn him down." Ria lied because she didn't want to go out with Jade.

" Come on, I'm sure Liam wouldn't mind." Jade said.

" I just want to spend time with my brother, Jade." Ria said with a sorry look.

" Oh, okay then, maybe some other time?" Jade asked her disappointed.

" We'll see about that. Bye!" Ria said and quickly walked away.

Jade was still standing there watching Ria's beautiful figure disappearing as she took a left corner to her class. Someone tapped his back. It was Joe.

" Looks like my girl is a tough one, huh!" Joe spoke as if mocking him.

" What do you want!" Jade spoke angrily.

" I won't rest until she's mine." Joe said and walked away leaving jade standing there fuming. He was mad, Joe was now a threat to him. He also wanted Ria to be hers. He loved her from all the pictures Liam has been showing them even before she came to Kayreen university. He was obsessed with her.

" Hey man, what's up?" Garry happened to head the same way as Ria and met with Jade standing at the corridor. He seems deep in thoughts.

" Nothing, I'm just worried that Joe has took his interest in our princess. I don't want her to get hurt."
