CHAPTER 62

Ria had the next class, arithmetics after an hour so, she decided to go to the library for a while. 

She went to look for a documentary when she bumped on Zara.

" Oh my God, I'm really sorry!" Ria said bending over and collecting the few books Zara had dropped. She didn't even raise her head.

" You won't even look at me now?" Zara asked.

" Huh?" Ria said raising her head after gathering the books and standing up only to find out that it was Zara.

" Oh, Zara, hi!  Really sorry, I didn't know it was you." Ria said.

" It's okay, so, heading to class?" Zara asked.

" Not until the next hour!" Ria said.

" Okay, see you around I'm just here for a while too." Zara said.

" Okay!" Ria added and Zara started walking away.

" maybe we have lunch together today? You, Diana and I?" Ria asked.

" I'll think about it." Zara said.

" You'll inform Diana when you decide." Ria said.

" Okay, I think I saw her and your brother somewhere around. See you later, I really have to go now!" Zara said and left.

" Ria stayed at the library for a while before her next class, arithmetics.

She walked to class after spending some minutes at the library and again she was hating the introduction part. It was a class of fifty three students and only one student didn't have a partner, Ria had to sit with him. 

" Hi!" Ria greeted her new desk mate who seemed really bored. The boy just glanced at her and didn't even reply to her greeting. Ria sighed and ignored him. As long as he won't bother her or distract her peace, they are going to be fine, furthermore, she wasn't also interested of being friendly with anyone.

The lecturer started lecturing. Surprisingly, Ria was catching up really fast. Even the other students were looking at her weirdly. Well, I already told you she is a genius and that is actually the reason she isn't even bothered to have joined school at mid term and it was almost exams time.

She has all the reading articles and she kept reading back at home even before she joined. Apart from the short course she has been doing, she has been attending an online tutoring of all the classes she would be attending once she joins collage to study her architectural course.

The lecturer noted her. He even asked her to do some exams on the white board and she perfectly derived the answers of all of them she was given before the other students. Of course she was nervous that she was showing off her great mind on her first class of arithmetics but she can't be blamed for being a genius and a smart kid.

The lesson was almost over. Ria had already become quite popular already. Some students surrounded her so that she could show them some working out they couldn't tackle on their own and Ria gladly helped them. She was very good at mathematics and physics even back in highschool and all the online tutoring did help a lot.

" Thank you Ria! Maybe we should meet some other time so that we can study together?" A girl named Vivian asked.

" Umm, I'll consider it, I'll let you know in our next class when we meet." Ria said and Vivian waved her good bye and left Ria's desk.

Ria finally sighed in relief after dealing with a bunch of students, both ladies and gents.

All that time, The guy, Ria's desk mate was seated at his seat minding his own business. Ria was finally packing her things so that she could leave when finally the guy spoke.

" Do you carry a charm with you?" The guy asked.

" What do you mean?" Ria asked not paying heed to his arrogant look on her.

" You being famous on your first class and acting like a genius!" The guy said giving Ria and arrogant smirk.

Ria chuckled as she finished packing her things. She turned to him and sized him before she spoke," well, I am not acting like a genius, I am one! And if you don't like me being famous, how about you just mind your own business so that it doesn't bother you. I can't help it that I'm specifically good at arithmetics. You don't have to feel jealous about it, if you want to be as good as me, I can show you how but stop acting arrogantly towards me. I don't even know who hell you are!" Ria said with a straight face and the guy just looked at her like she was talking some shit.

" Don't look at me like I'm some stupid thing." Ria said annoyed.

" Of course you are! Why do you talk a lot. It was just a small issue!" The guy said.

" You know what, just go to hell, and mind your own business Mr whoever!" Ria said and was almost leaving.

" I'm Morris by the way, nice to meet you miss Rays, you're such fun to talk to." Morris said as Ria was already out of the door but of course she heard him before walking away.

She was indeed mad, one trait about her, anything annoying would definitely work her out and she would be really very mad that is why she would do anything sh loves when she is mad rather than talk to anyone. Her brother knows that at least.

" Whoah, what with the ugly look princess?" Joe asked surprisingly when he almost bumped at Ria on the corridor.

" Nothing, just leave me alone, Joe, I'm not in the mood." Ria said and was walking away but Joe stood on her way. Ria sighed and tried to move the other direction and again Joe moved with her.

" This is really annoying you know and I just said that I'm not in the mood so just let me go now." Ria said with a boring tone.

" What is wrong, just tell me, I'm your friend isn't it?" Joe asked playfully.

" We are not friends and this is definately not funny, so please go to your own business and let me go on my way too." Ria said glaring at him.

" Hey, I would have let you go now but I won't because I've been looking for you. I would save found your number if I wanted but I found it unethical to get your number without your permission, so can we please have a small talk, I promise you won't be looking as mad as you are right now." Joe said with a serious expression.

" What talk? I'm already not interested." Ria said and Joe laughed it off.

" I was heading out for lunch alone, I could really use your company plus I can cheer you up if you let me, can you please join me for lunch if you don't mind?" Joe asked her gently.

Ria gave it a thought, she was to have lunch with Diana and Zara but she wasn't really in the mood for more drama. She wanted to make things clear with Zara over lunch but now it won't be possible as her emotions are not balanced at the moment. This Morris whoever is really stupid for her liking she just need something to clear her mind and Joe could be a good thing at the moment.

" Okay, we can have lunch together on one condition." Ria said and wait for his reaction.

" What condition?" Joe asked immediately.

" You won't be some other type of asshole to mess up my afternoon because I already had other plans for lunch." Ria said.

" I promise you won't regret it." Joe said sincerely.

" Okay, we can leave!" Ria said. Joe was happy to hear that. Ria was about to call Zara do that she can cancel their an but Zara called first.

" Hey, where are you? Dian and I would be waiting for you at the assembly point, meet us their and we would drive together in my car so that we go eat outside, I know of a very good restaurant around!" Zara spoke before Ria could say anything.

" I'm sorry guys, you go ahead and we would plan about it some other time, I'm suddenly commited elsewhere, I have something important unfinished, I'll meet you guys in the evening." Ria lied.

"Aah!" Why didn't you say that earlier?" Zara said disappointed.

" I just finished my class a while ago, I was about to call you so that I could call our lunch off but you beat me to it. I promise I'll make it up to you guys!" Ria said.

" Okay if you say so, Diana and I are going to eat out either way. Should we bring you in some take away food?" Zara asked.

" No thank you, that one is sorted." Ria said.

" If you say so! Have a nice time!" Zara said.

" To you guys too!" Ria said back before Zara disconnected the call.
