CHAPTER 52

Liam helped his sister with all the formalities and before lunch they were done.

" Phew! You can now have a good rest! Your first class starts tomorrow." Liam I formed and Ria smiled before a sigh.

" I hate it that I have to join school at mid term." Ria said.

" Because you are a genius and we are believing in you that you'd catch up with the rest, or do you wish to stay another year before you join?" Liam asked her and Ria shook her head rapidly.

" No way, I don't want to grow old out there! I have a whole life ahead of me apart from just studying you know!" Ria said.

" Yeah I know, that is why I went through all this trouble for you dear sister." Liam said knocking her forehead.

" Ouch!" Ria flinched and glared at her brother.

" Here comes my babe! She would keep you company, she must have finished her classes for today! See you in the evening!" Liam said as Diana walked towards them.

" Hey sweetheart!" Diana exchanged cheek pecks with Liam before he could leave.

" So, where do we start, sister in law!" Ria teased and they both chuckled.

" Let's start with the cafeteria! I'm hungry and it's almost lunch time!" Diana said and Ria agreed.

" I'm hungry too!" Ria said.

" They went to the cafeteria and chose a middle table. They had just made their orders and were waiting to be served when three girls walked to them.

" Hey, this is our table!" The one with wavy blonde hair spoke harshly.

" Oh, I guess we would take the next one then." Diana said politely and was about to stand up when Ria held her hand to stop her.

" No one comes with tables and chairs to Kayreen, or did you?" Ria spoke confidently.

" Oh really, do you even know whom you're talking to new girl? Or maybe it's because you are not from around here, you know nothing about Yemi Hansas?" The blonde girl, Yemi spoke, with her voice raised that it attracted the other students around.

" Really, so you think because I'm a new girl I'm going to humble myself little diva and abandon this table because you said so? There is nowhere on this table written Yemi Hansas, or there is, miss carpenter?" Ria talked back.

" You have no right to talk to me that way! You don't know who I am!" Yemi shouted.

" Let it go Ria. It's not a big deal, there are like ten empty tables unoccupied." Diana urged Ria but Ria isn't the type of girl that anyone can choose to belittle. She wasn't raised like that.

" Oh come on please, just leave already you're getting into my nerves!" Yemi said.

" You heard her, this is always our table." This was kate, the girl with short dyed hair.

" We are not going anywhere ladies, we came first, we occupied, be civilized and take another table, kindly. You look like fools fight over a lifeless furniture while there are like ten more extras of the same design, shape and colour!" Ria said ignoring the angry looking girls.

" I see you're even calling us names now, you got some nerves new girl!" Yemi said.

" Look here Yemi, stop behaving like a two years old kid with no brains. Just take another table because my friend and I aren't going to leave this one." Ria said and at that same time, the waiter came and gave them their orders. Ria took out her credit card to pay and the waiter went ahead and scanned the bill.

" Bon appetit, lovey!" Ria said to Diana and started eating. Diana didn't even take a bite of her food when their trays went flying in the hall.

" Do you really know whom you're messing with new girl!" The third girl, Nana Claus spoke with a deep angry voice. She was a tom boy looking.

" I don't care who you are okay, but whatever you did, I'm not pleased! We don't waste food like that." Ria said and stood up but Nana pushed her back that she almost fell.

" Ria, drop it already, you're creating a scene you know." Diana whispered to her.

" They started it and they don't know whom they are messing with either." Ria was not ready to hold it back. Her boxing classes weren't going to waste Just like that, if they want to settle this with a fight, they are so done for. Well, I told you Ria copied all her brother's sporting activities, she did go for those boxing sessions with him back at highschool, that is why, she is the fearless, carefree girl she is today.

"What's going on here!" Garry's deep voice came from behind the three ladies.

Zara, Simon, Liam and Garry walked ahead and stood beside Ria and Diana.

" We aren't done with you! You better watch out!" It was Nana who spoke.

" If I were I wouldn't say that, you got the wrong ones kitty!" Zara said.

Yemi, Kate and Nana stomped their feet and walked out of the cafeteria.

" What happened?" Liam asked checking if they were hurt.

" We're fine, no need to worry!" Ria said.

" How did you know we were here?" Diana asked as they were walking out of the cafeteria.

" Jade texted me." Liam said.

" Who's Jade?" Ria asked.

" Oh, Jade is our friend, the guy who sat at the far end corner with a laptop minding his own business." Zara informed.

" Oh!" Ria said. " He doesn't seem like the type to be in your crazy circle." Ria said and Diana laughed it off.

" Because, he is the coolest. And always busy making his video games." Simon said.

" I see!" Ria exclaimed. She remembered how he stared at her while they walked into the cafeteria with Diana a while ago.

" Does he know me?" Ria asked after a while. The guys were already having some other funny conversation when Ria asked and they all had to turn their attention to her.

" Of course, we all know you because we are Liam's friend. He talks a lot about you. And stuck pictures of you in almost all his belongings!" Garry said teasingly.

" He is exaggerating. I only have one picture stuck behind my notebook and another one in a frame, you and I, it's on my side table back at the apartment." Liam informed.

" And another one in his clock hanged in his room!" A voice came behind them. It was Jade.

" Stop appearing like a ghost dummy! You're always too creepy for my liking!" Zara said rolling her eyes at jade who just joined them.

" Hi Ria, I'm...!"

" Jade!" Ria finished the introduction for him.

" Nice to meet you too!" Ria added.

"So, where are you guys heading to?" Jade asked.

" We are eating out. Our lovely sister decided to cause a scene on her first day at school, and far worst with Yemi Hansas!" Simon said.

" They started it!" Ria said.

" Now she and her crazy girlfriends won't stop, I hate them!" Diana said.

" They are always full of themselves!" Zara said.

" Yemi, is a niece to the vice chancellor, that is why she behaves like that." Liam said.

" I don't care who she is, I won't let her mess up with me like that and I just sit and watch! I'm not a coward." Ria said. She sounded Angry.

" I know sis, but we don't want you suspended already and you just joined. Kayreen can be shit sometimes so, just play low. Try as much as possible to stay away from Yemi and her crew." Liam said.

" As long as she doesn't try to cross in my path! And those stupid looking niggas she was with." Ria said.

"Here we are, Jade has a car too, so we divide ourselves for the ride?" Simon asked.

" That's better, I don't want to be pressed and I am hungry." Zara said. She is the most foodie.

" I'll drive in Jade's car." Ria said.

" Me too!" Simon said.

" After you mi lady!" Jade gestured as he led the way to where his mercedes was parked.

" Is it okay if I take the front seat?" Jade asked.

" Yeah sure, you can take any seat but I'm driving." Jade said and smiled at Ria who just chuckled.

Jade opened the car door for her first as Simon opened the back door for himself. Jade enters the driver's seat afterwards.

Diana, Zara and Garry drove in Liam's car.

" Where are we heading to?" Ria, who was the clueless asked.

" We are having lunch at our all day five star hotel." Simon exclaimed.

" No chaos with chairs and tables!" Jade added.

" You didn't have to bring that again you know!" Ria said rolling her eyes.

" You know it was just amusing to watch the things that girl can fight over. You know you could have just take another table instead." Jade said.

" My parents taught me better than walking away from shit!"
