CHAPTER 20

Flora walked to one of the the guest room where Damon laid on the bed. He lost quite a lot of blood last night and was aided once they got to Flora's house because he just fainted at the entrance.

Flora's parents, Liam and Josh were all in. Flora has already informed Shirley of what happened and Shirley had to look after her business as she clears what happened.

" Mommy, is Ria awake now? I want to go see her!" Liam said as he ran towards her mom and hugs her thighs.

" Yes sure, don't tell her anything, okay, be a good son!" Flora said.

" Okay, I promise! I won't mention anything to her!" Liam said rushing out going to Ria's room.

" We would be at the living room dear, if you need anything!" Flora's dad said walking out with his wife. 

" I'll go get some water!" Josh also excused himself.

Flora smiled as she approached where Damon laid. She helped him sit upright then grazed her fingers on the bandaged arm.

" Does it still hurt?" Flora asked concerned.

" Just a little, but it really hurts!" Damon said jokingly and pouted his lips. Flora chuckled.

" I'll be fine, it's just a small graze!" Damon reassured her.

" Thank you, I really can't thank you enough for saving Ria's life, I don't know what I would have done if anything happened to her!" Flora said with tears in her eyes.

" Hey, please, do not cry, okay? Ria is now safe and sound. I won't let anything happen to my family, you, Ria and Liam. Even if it means losing my life for your sake I'd still protect you all." Damon said kissing her forehead.

" We don't want to lose you!" Flora said hugging him. 

Damon smiled and hug her back. 

" Are you sure you don't want to lose me?" Damon asked playfully tucking her hair behind her back.

" Yes, I don't want to love you Damon, I still love you and it already pains me that...!"

" Say that again!" Damon requested as he made her look at him.

" Huh?" Flora replied confused.

" You still love me?" Damon asked with a small voice that if Flora wasn't close enough, she wouldn't have heard him.

" I do!" She assured him.

" Say it again!" Damon requested.

" I love you Damon!"

"Again...!"

" I love you Damon!"

" Again...!"

" Does that mean you're not believing me?" Flora asked looking sad.

" It doesn't mean anything, I just want to hear you say it!" Damon said with a smile on his face.

" I love you!" Flora said with tears running down her cheeks again.

" Sshh! Don't cry baby! You don't know how I'm feeling right now as you said those words, they mean a lot to me!" Damon said this but he couldn't control his own tears. He has been waiting for a moment like this for five years and now he just can't help it, how happy he feels.

" Thank you so much for giving me another chance, my Flora. I love you so much!" Damon admitted.

" Does that mean we are going back to country A with you and Liam?" Flora asked and Damon was surprised, Flora is willing to leave everything behind and go back home with her!

He couldn't contain his laughter, he laughed so hard. Everyone else hearing the laughter into which even flora joined in not knowing what it is that is funny, wondered why the couple laughed so hard.

They all joined into the laughter, it was on very rare occasions where you would find either Damon or flora laughing this hard, they were all happy!

" Why are we laughing?" Flora asked in the middle of the laughter.

" I don't know either!" Mr Mars answered.

" Why are you both laughing?" Mr Mars asked Flora.

" I'm laughing because I don't know why Damon suddenly started laughing!" Flora admitted and the laughter continued after a while.

" Now, all stop laughing and tell me what's funny, my ribs are now aching!" Liam said.

" Mine too!" Ria added.

The laughter died but the atmosphere was humourous!

" Damon, tell us why we are laughing!" Flora inquired.

" I'm just happy! Very happy!" Damon said suppressing another laughter.

" Oh come on dad! We all know that laughter, in many cases is a form of happiness, tell us what made you very happy!" Liam asked already frowning.

" It's your mom who made me happy, and I couldn't control it!" Damon said pursing his lips.

" Me!" Flora asked amused. She doesn't remember doing anything funny at all!

" Mommy, did you tickle daddy?" Ria asked.

Flora's eyes widened with surprised.

" Did you just call him daddy!" Flora asked.

" Oh shit! Double happiness!" Damon exclaimed.

" Yes, Liam told me that we got separated while we were young. But we are real twins, you don't know how happy I am!" Ria exclaimed cheerfully and added a giggle.

" Liam!" Flora glared at him.

Liam raised his arms in a defensive manner," Don't be mad, I couldn't hide it from her that we all got separated because both daddy and you needed to work, it was so I fortunate your companies were in different countries, isn't it daddy! Josh told me that after pestering him so much!" Liam admitted.

Josh shrugged his shoulders," I even told him not to mention me!" 

" Don't spoil the mood, I'm happy that we are once again a complete family no matter what happened to us in the past!" Damon said.

" Yeah right!" Ria exclaimed as she jumped on the bed to hug her dad.

" Careful honey! Daddy is still injured!" Flora warned.

" Oops!" Ria said it cutely as she gently hugged him.

" So, we were all stupidly laughing because daddy was happy, how hilarious!" Liam exclaimed and his expression as he spoke these words is what made everyone start laughing again.

" Son, do you wish to pursue a comedian carrier maybe, because our ribs are going to crack now!" Mrs Mars asked.

" Like father like son! If daddy can make you laugh without a really proper reason, why can't I!" Liam spoke proudly.

" I give up!" Mrs Mars said. Liam was too reasonable and matured than other children on his age.

" Lunch must be ready, let is all go to the dining room!" Mrs Mars informed.

" Honey, are you going to join us or should I bring food in here for you?" Flora asked with a concerned expression.

Liam held Ria's hand as they sang," Honey, honey, honey!" 

The elders laughed at they playful mode.

" I see even the children are happy that you're again a family! Congratulations to both of you! I was tired seeing dramas too!" Josh admitted.

" Really!" Damon asked surprised.

" Yes boss! Your exaggerated anger was really getting into me, if it wasn't for the fact that you are my boss I would have kicked your **s!" Josh spoke and the rest laughed.

" I'm firing you right now! How could you not tell me that you're sick of my exaggerated anger from the beginning!" He said it with pouting lips and the laughter continued.

" Anyway, thank you Flora!" Damon said kissing her knuckles.

" You are welcome!" Flora said smiling back at him.

" Are you sure you want to go back with me?" Damon asked seriously.

" Yes, I thought about it and I've made a decision, I want to go back with you and start afresh, a beautiful family, our own home...!" Flora said dreamily.

" What about your business? Are you going to let it go just like that? I know you've worked so hard to get there, you don't have to do it if you're not sure about it." Damon said looking into her eyes.

" Damon, you now know that if I stand by my decision there is no turning back. I would go back with you but I'll start another branch of Mars Studio there as well, and then I'll be coordinating with the one here, that way I would be expanding my business as well!" Flora explained.

" Hhm, that's sounds like a really good idea, I got a really thoughtful woman here! I'm proud of that really. I'm going to support you whenever you need me and I promise I'm not going to interfere with your business, I respect that." Damon promised.

Flora moved closer and gave him a peck on his lips.

" I'd want more than just that but I know you are hungry, let's eat together!" Damon requested.

" Okay, I'll go get the food!" Flora said and stood up but Damon held her hand. Flora turned to look at him with a questioning expression.

" You want anything else? I'll get it for you!" Flora said and attentively wait for him to speak.

" You're really beautiful babe!" Damon complimented and Flora blushed.

" You think so?" She asked shyly.

" I know so, by the way, you'd look even more beautiful with your hair naturally black, I like it black, you no longer have to hide from me, I found you!" Damon said and Flora chuckled.
